《The Couple Test》Aur ho saans ka shor ho

Avinash and Aadhya stood next to one another on the specially constructed dias. They complimented one another by all means. His hand never left hers even for a moment. To the guests they looked perfectly in love even though the bride and the groom haven't realised the feeling as such.
Purnima Nanda forwarded a beautifully decorated plate towards Avinash, he picked up the ring in his hands carefully not wanting to drop it on the plate by mistake. He had chosen it imagining her long thin fingers. He had played the scene in his mind numerous times but suddenly it felt different. He suddenly felt cracking deals and bagging contracts were lot easier than the task of making her wear the ring. He was committed to her by all means but the seriousness of the relationship played in his mind all over again. He was cent percent sure that he would never be able to let go of her for any goddamn reason. She was for him to cherish. This ring was just a start to all the little promise he was going to stick by.
Her eyes never left his face from the moment his mother pushed the plate with the engagement ring. She really was getting hitched. It wasn't flirting or getting to know one another anymore. They really were taking a step towards becoming "the best half". She suddenly did not like the emptiness of the finger anymore. The longing to be with him grew within her. He had been nothing short of a dream. To know that he would belong to her in a few minutes warmed her heart.
She turned her face away for a brief moment to compose herself. Her stomach felt like it was attacked by a flight of butterflies. She felt odd momentarily. His hand wasn't locked with hers anymore. He forwarded his left hand and signalled her to place her left hand in his. She froze for a moment feeling anxious. He blinked at her assuringly and urged her to do so. She did as told and felt the warmth returning back. He slowly slipped the ring on to her finger without taking his eyes off her. She looked at her ring clad finger and gasped. It wasn't any ordinary ring. It looked of course feminine, so fanciful and sleek. The centre round diamond was housed between the split-prongs. The diamond ring shrank was furthered adorned with an additional 24 round diamonds artfully placed making the ring more grand.
It was her mother's turn to pass on his ring. She was in a dazed state to act on her own. Her mother placed her hand on her shoulder and gently pressed her and brought her to her senses. She felt embarrassed for a second but she was given no more than that. She picked up his ring more like a band with tiny diamonds placed along the width of the ring. She did not know if she made the right choice but to her it did the moment the she laid her eyes on it. She took a deep breath and quietly made him wear the ring. Shouts of celebratory messages erupted from their family. He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close to him and kissed her forehead warmly and allowed his lips to linger on her skin for a few seconds before he could part from her. They were hugged by their family. The couple touched the feet of their parents and grandmother for their blessings and hugged their siblings.

He kept her glued to him from the moment they exchanged rings. She was officially his fiancé and all he wanted to do was whisk her away from the crowd. She simply looked stunning and the smile on her face was so contagious.
"Hey fiancé" he whispered in her ears.
To the onlookers the scene looked so private and intimate.
"Hi" she mumbled.
"Did I tell you how beautiful you look ?" He asked her and tucked the loose strands of hair behind her ears. As much as he loved her hair down, he did not like those unruly strands blocking her face when he was looking at her.
She shook her head negatively and her cheeks flushed automatically.
"How about I get you both a room ?" Akhil interrupted from behind and wrapped his hands around them.
"That would be perfect. Don't you think ?" Avinash quipped and looked at Aadhya.
"You will do no such thing Akhil" Aadhya said blushing profusely.
She did want to spend a few minutes with him away from all the hustle but she also knew they would definitely be completing the unfinished kiss. The thought of kissing him alone made her insides go wild. The sinking feeling in her stomach returned almost immediately.
"Well you both need to ace your game soon, the paps are waiting for you both" Akhil told them the reason for being the third wheel all of a sudden and moved towards a group of people who signalled at him to join them.
Soon they were asked to pose for the cameras. The cameras clicked continuously and the flash almost blinded their vision but who cares. His arm was firm around her all the time. Much to his surprise, she had taken on the media rather confidently than he thought she would. For someone who hated attention, she was doing a good job.
"Why did a businessman like you go for a doctor ?" One of them asked a question.
"Opposites attract" he said and looked at her as if he was asking if she agreed with his answer.
"Do you think she will be able to handle all the attention that comes your way? Another question was thrown his way.
"Oh I thought I am dealing with one already" Aadhya answered instead making the interviewer embarrassed.
"Is she the one ?"
"Always" he said and walked away with her leaving them to crave for more.
She simply followed him and had absolutely no idea where he was taking her to. But as they did move forward they sure were leaving the crowd behind them and suddenly it was only the two of them. The decorations surely had mellowed down. She saw the sofas and then realised that they were inside the house. She felt nervous. She wanted it so badly but she was definitely developing a cold feet too.

"It's the kitchen" she said looking around.
"Exactly why no one will come looking for us" he replied.
He lifted her by her waist without giving a warning and made her sit on the kitchen island. She let out a shriek when he lifted her out of the blue. He placed his hand on the island on either sides of her and leaned towards her. She looked down feeling his heated gaze. Spending time with him alone like this surely thrilled her to bits. She felt almost like a teenager.
"It's a crime to dress like this" he told her and moved his hand to trace the vast expanse of her back. The thin strip of her blouse hardly covered her back. And the pompoms of her blouse tie did a good job of sensually grazing her back as she walked. It thrilled him to bits.
She closed her eyes feeling his fingers resting on her back so authoritatively and the way he rubbed her back in circles with his thumb surely send shivers down her spine. They spoke nothing but their eyes refused to look anywhere else. As if in cue, he held her left hand and placed a long kiss over her ring. That's when she noticed the beauty of the ring. She looked at him accusingly and he only chuckled at her in return.
"This isn't small Avinash" she complained but her eyes were admiring the ring.
"It's perfect. No one would dare to hit on you" he reasoned.
"Oh they wouldn't want to go blind looking at this ring" she retorted.
"Because you are mine" he said passionately. She never understood how one could convey their feelings in simple words but he was doing a splendid job at that since day 1.
She moved forward and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek feeling overwhelmed. He was sure taken aback by surprise but that kiss was so raw and pure and that did drive him wild.
"Let me teach you how to kiss your fiancé" he rasped and placed his lips over hers. His lips pressed hers just like the other day, soft and dominating. He couldn't leave it just here. Not again. He bit her lower lip just a bit and a small moan escaped her lips between their kiss, he was quick enough to push his tongue in to his mouth and he closed his eyes in satisfaction. Her mouth literally tasted like an elixir. She was like the oasis he needed to quench his thirst. His tongue duelled with hers to taste every nook and corner of her mouth. The kiss made both of them go weak and fight for breath. He parted from her mouth and once again kissed her lips as if to not forget the taste of her lips.
She had literally turned scarlet after the passionate moment and this place was something she wasn't going to forget all her life and to make things awkward it was the kitchen. Not like they made out on the kitchen island she thought and paused immediately realising how pervert the very thought was.
"I think I should go now" she said still coming to terms that she was kissed so passionately and she was an equal participant even though not dominant.
"Promise, we will have our own sneaking out party. Don't worry about that" he said and met her forehead with his. Their breaths mixed with one another and the sexual tension between them rose once again however, it barely lasted.
She pushed him and got down the kitchen island running a hand through her hair worried. Fear gripped her. It was perfectly silent when they entered but the sudden noise of something crashing down disturbed their moment together.
"Why don't you go back and I see what's up" he said taking her in a side hug. Seeing her hesitation, he offered to walk her out and later get back to check.
The beautiful vase crashed down and broke to pieces. His eyes burned with fury. To see the two of them so close set his body on fire. It was mad unhealthy rage. He couldn't bear the sight of them exchanging rings and to watch her walk that way with him unnerved him. She was his new addiction. It wasn't easy for him to enter the freaking place. It was so well protected and he had to literally break through and after all this he did not get a minute with her then it would be a shame. He headed out to the engagement party with vengeance against Avinash Nanda and with mad obsession for Aadhya Chopra.
