The gentle mists moved with no intention, flowing in sweeping circles creating a thin veil yet to be burnt off by the red morning light. Taking a deep shaking breath, Alan shifted his gaze down towards the corpses of everyone he had known. Author's Notes: Book One: Deception of Midirection is my starting book for the series called 'Age of Enlightenment'. Theme: The theme in my series is 'change', the story is viewed through mutiple point of views on how characters developing to change as the world around changes. Having characters adapt and react to the situation they're on and how will they survive, getting knowledge that completely changes their view on the world, and finally how a person could change the world with power. Setting: A fantasy world yet I've set the time period alike to the 17th century.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by.These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
