A few months later.

Dustin and I's relationship has turned into a more ... hmmm.. what do I say... not exactly friends, but fore say we can bump into each other without being at each other's throat. He no longer picks at me every moment he see's me. He stopped with his bullying... not completely still. That's okay I guess I have more freedom than before. So I am happy.

Today Dustin went out of our pack. He said something about meeting the Alpha of the Red Moon pack for some kind of treaty or something. I din't pay much attention to him while he was telling me where he will be going.

I sat in my room for nearly 2 hours without doing anything. I was so bored out of mind. That's the reason I decided to take a stroll in the woods. I din't realize that it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.

I was heading back to the pack house after taking a stroll in the woods when I felt a stinging pain on my neck. It was very painful. Then slowly I started losing consciousness. When I was just about to slip into the abyss of darkness. I felt myself being lifted and being hoisted on some masculine's shoulder.

And then I felt nothing but as if I was in teleported into the depths of the ocean.

Dustin POV

I came back from the meeting late at night. I could hear many voices shouting at each other. People were running in and out. No one even noticed that I arrived. The atmosphere was so tense. Everyone seemed nervous.

'What happened' that was what was running in my head.

I spot my future beta at the corner very tense. Ashton seemed very off and not alert. This is not him at all. I tapped on his shoulder behind his back. When I called for his attention he jumped and turned around to face me. He instantly paled. He started sweating and shaking.

"Du..Dustin when did you come?" he asked

I sensed that something was definitely wrong

"What happened Ashton?" I asked

" No.. nothing" He stuttered

" Umm.. you need to sit down for this." he said " umm.. okay... Dustin , Steva went for a walk in the woods and she has not returned. We sent a search party but they could not find her. We suspect she was ........ kid..kidnapped." he said

I could only see red. I was furious.

Ashton continued " She went sometime in the morning. Now there is no sign of her. HEY don't jump into conclusions. She did not run away. We found a syringe in the woods. We suspect that someone used that syringe to inject her. We sent the syringe to the doctor . He should still confirm what is used and if he can find any traces."

"Where was the syringe found?" I asked

"It was found near the stream near her tree house " Ashton said

" It would mostly be hers then. That stream is not known to many and also she goes there every time she has a chance. Was there any sign of struggle there"

" No nothing of that sort was found" He said

" Why did you let her go there alone" I shouted

" There were 2 guards with her. One was killed and the other one just came out of the hospital. He said that there were 2 men who nabbed her" he said

My eyes widened. This can't be happening. How can she get kidnapped. I was fuming. If this was a cartoon and if I was a cartoon character then there would be smoke coming out of my ears and nose and my face would be red with anger.

" Beta Ashton I want you to keep your entire focus on finding the whereabouts of your future Luna" I said in a authoritative voice.

He nodded and left.

This can't be real. We were finally warming up with each other. Who ever did this crime is gonna wish they were never born, I swore to myself.

I wanted to know everything about. How is she. Is she okay. I don't want to lose her. Hell I haven't even marked her as my own. I am so restless without being able to see her around me.
