So the entire canteen went silent. It was so not the comfortable silence but the silence before a huge storm. It was because of the entry of the Greek god..... wait what ....shit no.... I mean Dustin.This always happened when Dustin entered and it was quite common yet it felt so different today. I ignored the feelings and focused on my food which was literally begging me to put it in my mouth and savor the taste.

There was too much tension in the atmosphere I guessed everyone felt that something was not so usual. I looked up from my food to see Emma and Alex had pale faces as if they had seen a ghost and they were completely stiff. I looked behind me to see what made them go so pale and of course should have guessed it was Dustin.

I saw Dustin beckoning for me to come towards him. With just a little hope that I might not be the person I pointed my finger towards Emma and gave him a questioning look. He shook his head and he pointed to me again Now I knew he meant for me to go to him so I pointed towards me and hopped he shakes his head again but because luck just loves me so much he nodded his head. Emma gave me a sad smile and I got up to meet him. The entire canteen was silent and the anticipation level was super high. They were waiting on why was I called and will Dustin hurt me.

When I reached his table I asked in a timid voice

"Why did you call me Alpha Dustin?"

Even if he is not officially our Alpha we had to call him like that or we will be punished and only his close friends could address him without his tittle or speak to him in a informal manner. he tossed me a book and said

"I heard you are really good at Eng.lit so I want you do finish this small and simple assignment for me." He said with a smirk.

I opened my mouth to protest when he cut me off by saying

"Don't bother convincing me otherwise. I know a small secret of yours which can ruin your life in school. Many will literally hate you and some might even try to kill you." He whispered to me so that no one else could listen to us. When he saw my confused look he mind-linked me saying 'about your mate'

My head snapped to look at him I could have seriously pulled a vein I am surprised I did not get cut it.

"I want this homework of mine done and returned to me by tomorrow morning. I want all the answers to be correct. You cannot complain to anyone , if you act smart and complain then I will kill you. I want a high grade so you better do everything perfectly. I don't care if you have time or not. Now get lost" He said.

I dint know whether I should feel happy that he did not humiliate me or sad that he din't acknowledge me as a mate or the bond we shared.

I guess I was lost in my own thoughts that I did not realize the entire student population was looking at me eagerly if I will follow or go against his orders. Then Dustin spoke again

" Do I have to repeat myself ....... Omega....." he asked.

"NO...NO ...NO" I shuttered and he smirked.

" What is your name Omega" he asked

" Steva... Steva Roberts Alpha I will do as you told me to do" With that said and I bowed. I went out of the canteen not having any mood to eat my lunch.

The bell rang soon after and everyone started filling out. Some even gave me sympathetic smiles. I gave them a tight lip smile in return. I kind off managed to finish mine and Dustin's assignment and they were fairly good and I finished both in 4 hours. I was proud and I planned to just put Dustin's assignment in his locker and not give it to him directly.
