Extra Exp method
Guy clicked on the post and read it.
While I was exploring the beginner town I came across the Adventures Guild. It is sorta south east of the center of the town. When I talked with the Npc receptionist I was able to ”take a test to become an Adventurer.” The test was easy, fight another player who was also trying to be an adventurer. After the test head back to the receptionist and you will be able to pick up a few quests. Each quest gave around 25 exp when completed and turned in.
There is probably a way to get quests that grant more exp, Idk how to get those yet. Probably some rep system.
Edit: Thank you for the gold, kind strangers.
Guy went back to the main page and continued to scroll down. After half an hour he went to look at the game developers website. The front page was mostly self promotion and ads for consoles but after he looked through their tabs he found a page referring to him to their announcements.
Battle tournament scheduled 14th April, Saturday!
Battle royal! Special rewards for those who come in the top 50!
Guy couldn't help but smile. Today was the first which gave him 13 day to reach level 30. Even if he didn’t count the days he worked he still would have 11 days to level. Feeling elated Guy went back to Bedit and went to a discussion board.
…
(106)213: Is warlock any good?
(34)214>213: No, It's pretty trash. Just make a Magician or Wizard Character
(15)215>214: All other Magic classes are pretty trash other than Magician or wizard
(106)216>215: Too bad, was hoping to make different classes work but if they are trash then Devs might as well delete them...
(34)217>216: They should just delete all those bottom feeder classes. Like that one curse class shown in the Trailer.
(15)218>217: Is there really a class like that? It should just be integrated into the warlock class. What are the Devs thinking?

Guy closed the digital window and grabbed his bag from the freezer. After strapping a respirator to his face he went out of his house and locked the door behind him. He swung the bag to rest in front of him and his prosthetic fist to attach it to the stump of a left hand. A shock caused Guy to grimace for a moment before the pins and needles feeling, like that of your leg falling asleep, could be felt.

He pulled out an old cotton coat and put it on. Guy zipped the bag up and threw it on his back. The halls of his apartment were as dirty as every, with dirt and grime covering the walls. Strange liquids dripped from the exposed pipes that lined the roof, it pooled in thick black puddles on the floor and flowed slowly down the halls to go down the stairs. It stank of dead rats and disease as Guy lumbered down the hall, His prosthetic hand opened and closed as he was still getting used to the metallic limb. His respirator hisses and squealed like a dying pig, sending out brief jets of carbon dioxide from its old malfunctional hoses.
Guy made it to the stairs and made his way down, careful to not step on the syrupy, black liquid. A thick fog was in the air that would sting the eye causing it to water, making the people to seemingly always cry. Guy was no exception, he had no eye protection and so he would cry like everyone else was. He was on the street now, making his way to the city. It looked as if two cities were inverse to each other. One City hanging from the ceiling, one City standing from the ground.
As he moved farther away from the apartments and closer to the city there was a dramatic increase in the amount of people wandering through the street. Although the crowd wore a variety of different clothes there were a few groups of clothing styles as a whole. The rich or undercover cops were wearing moderate clean clothes which stood against the crowd with their cleanness. The second group was those with just blanks covering them, they were so poor that they couldn’t buy clothes. Finally, the third group were the regular people who lived in the city, their dirty old clothes created a vast sea of carpets that made the street unbearably hot. Like boulders in a river there were Police units wandering the streets keeping their sensors open to stop any crime, the crowd avoided them like the plague.
The neon light of stores glowed, flickered then continued to hold their light like a dying man to hope. As Guy neared his destination the once omnipresent crowd faded until it was only him and a few others wandering in the narrower, dirty alleys. That is when he came to his destination, Old Dinos. The name was painted on the wall ages ago from how faded the name was. The wall itself was made of concrete rougher than a drunk person's personality. Slightly off center was a dark green metal door that Guy approached and went through.

The inside of the building was rather plain. There was a counter to Guys left that had a man in his sixties sleeping on, this was Dino. Him and Guy had known each other ever since Guy started working at his current job. The floor near the entrance was covered with what could only be called the ugliest carpet in the whole city. Luckily the rest of the floor in the building was covered with soft foam pads. Guy took off his shoes and went to the back room to grab a punching bag.
After bringing the sand bag to the main room and hanging it from the low ceiling guy stripped down to just his pants. He began smashing the bag with his heavy hits that caused it to swing a little. He waited only a little while before it stopped swinging and he began to smash it again. This went on for a few hours before Dino woke up and went to the back room to get something to eat. After coming back a few minutes later with a grilled cheese he started an idle conversation with Guy.
“Still gonna fight?” Dino took a bite out of the sandwich. Grimacing slightly as the melting cheese burnt his mouth.
“Mhmm.”Guy responded with uninterest as he continued his beat down on the sand bag.
“That spot is still open if you want it.” Dino took another bite of the sandwich this time prepared for the melting cheese.
“Mn”, Guy groaned a negative response to Dino. The old man sighed heavily.
“Those kids would love you. You’d be a great role model for them to look up to, A man's man.” Dino continued to talk but Guy was not listening. He couldn’t get those comments about Hexagation being trash out of his mind. It seemed like they were ridiculing him. He knew that they weren’t ridiculing him specifically but it still landed close enough that it made him furious.
It was ridiculous, the game had been out for only a day or so and already people were listing this as viable or not. Guy was still beating the hell out of the sandbag as he continued to brood over the comments made by others. Even that business woman that Luke invited without telling Guy said something along the lines of ‘your class is bad’. It pissed him the hell off. Why couldn’t people just let people have fun the way he wanted? They had to be a bunch of rich, soft skinned idiots. Guy was on the verge of screaming at the imaginary people in his head when he -in his anger- decided that he would continue to do Hexagation just to piss people off. If he couldn’t have his fun then Guy certainly would do whatever would bug them the most.
Dino -realizing that Guy stopped listening- went back to his desk and started playing with his tablet. Some amount of time passed.
He finished letting out a flurry of blows on the sand bag before collecting his things and went to head out the door. Dino noticed him but thoughtfully let Guy have his space. Right before walking out the door he affixed his respirator to his face and he began to walk home. Once Guy was out of the sparse allies he walked into the carpeted river that was the main street. He spent a good thirty minutes getting back to his low-end apartment. Guy walked back up the disgusting stairs that had the black liquid flowing down.
He finally reached his little corner that he called his house and slipped in. Nothing had changed physically ,but Guys’ determination had filled the air with energy. He took off his prosthetic hand and put it and the bag in his freezer. After stripping down to his pants Guy laid back into the Pod and dived back into the game. This time with a solid goal to execute.

The mind is a fragile thing. One slip and the shattered pieces are so innumerable that reconstruction is impossible. One such Theodore Chatwood is unfortunately very familiar with that sentiment. From a young age, frequent visions of horrid, incomprehensible beings plagued his mind, and it only became worse with time. They speak in colors, whispering in ageless language... They wait in corners, watching intently. The world harbors much more than meets the blind eye. Do not fret, though. Simply take the syringe. Hold your breath. Close your eyes.
