Present Day, Men's Dorm, Vaillance Battlemage Academy Campus
"How long is five minutes to you?"
Tohsin complained
Drake was almost completely absorbed in his Reminiscence
"Oh-ah sorry, I spaced out for a moment, you wanna go right now?"
Drake snapped back into the real world
"Okay then, follow me."
Tohsin said exiting the room, Drake trailing behind him
After locking the door and descending down the miserable flight of stairs, They came to the lobby area. Contrary to just half an hour ago, The lobby was now almost empty, Save for Quinn and a few boys studying in the lounge.
Drake followed Tohsin as the latter went back to the academy buildings and went through a set of double doors.
Drake followed in moments later, and was greeted with a Humid yet lively air, as there might have been Hundreds of students Inside the massive hall he walked into.
"looks like we're just in time for dinner, Come on let's get in line"
Tohsin sounded over the indistinct chatter
"What's for dinner?"
Drake was hungry, He had skipped the day's breakfast and Lunch.
"If i remember correctly, Today is Stew"
"Nice, at this point I can scoff down an entire pot"
Tohsin smiled as he and Drake walked over to get in line.
They picked up Bowls of food and began searching for a table, And before long they were seated at a small square table for four.
"Let's hurry up, things run very tight here. I made that mistake with many others during our first days here"
"What do you mean by mistake?"
"This is a Military establishment, They strictly enforce diligence. Be late and you might have to endure some weird and wacky punishments"
Drake narrowed his eyes, face turning to one of confusion

"which include?"
"I'll let you figure that out yourself"
Tohsin hid a Mischievous grin
The two boys cleaned up their plates and headed to return them, Drake trailing Tohsin, Drake looked back toward the tables to see that the hundreds of students he saw had thinned out considerably.
A violent crash of porcelain demanded his attention. He looked back to see Tohsin had dropped his tray.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry Tohsin"
A rather tall girl with beautiful features apologised, Holding her hands to her mouth
"It's fine Cath, that was my fault"
She had Long brown hair that flowed down to her waist, but the Feature that caught Drake's attention was her surprisingly muscular yet skinny body. Even though she was well dressed, Drake sized her up in a glance
Cath almost sensing his eyes on her looked up from Tohsin picking up the porcelain pieces
"I've never seen you before, Who are you?"
The warm, Familiar tone of voice she used with Tohsin changed to be Stiff and Business-like
"I'm a new student here, just started"
Cath stared at Drake Suspiciously
"You got into this academy this late? How is that possible?"
"Special case…"
"is that so? well I'm looking forward to see just how special you are"
Cath had taken an about turn in the personality she showed to Tohsin.
"It's alright Cath, he's with me. This is Drake"
Tohsin gathered the pieces and stood up very quickly, sensing the conflict
"With you? I thought you had no acquaintances"
Tohsin shrugged at Cath's remark and turned to Drake
"This is Catherine Raymond, she's a little confrontational…"
Tohsin was cut off by a smack to the back of his head
"I'll get you back for that"
Cath threatened as she headed to walk out of the mess hall

"What's her deal?"
Drake asked Tohsin who was rubbing the back of his head
"She's the daughter of Officer Diona Raymond, She rarely speaks to anyone, so consider yourself lucky"
"Interesting Character. why does she refer to you so familiarly then?"
"I think It's because I helped her out with the Basic Arithmetic Exams"
"You had what now?"
"Arithmetic… Don't tell me you were exempt from that"
Tohsin let out a defeated sigh
"Just how damn special are you? Next thing you tell me you were exempt from Admission fees"
a set of ears perked up from a table nearby
Drake nervously laughed at Tohsin's remark
"You were?! What the fuck? How badly did the dean want you here?"
"I don't really know, My Master wrote a letter to the Dean on my behalf and next thing I knew I was being escorted here"
The ears nearby were now burning as they made their way out of the Mess hall
"Escorted?! What was your family name again?"
Tohsin was completely Appalled
Drake was still confused
"Fyrce, Drake Fyrce"
"Fyrce huh, I don't know of any High class family called Fyrce"
"Why would- I'm just a kid from a backwater town, I'm not related to a Noble Family"
Tohsin Relapsed into his regular demeanour
"I don't think I want to pry anymore, for the sake of my own sanity"
With that The two boys left the Mess hall and started back toward their dorm.
Back inside their room, They prepared for evening classes
"Open the Cabinet next to the Wardrobe, You'll find your uniform there"
Tohsin advised
Drake opened the cabinet and was greeted with a dark blue Uniform and matching trousers
"Put those on"
Tohsin instructed as he put on his own Uniform
Drake looked at himself as he finished and awed at his transformation
He was a rather Tall and Stocky individual with well defined arms and legs due to his years of training, and with the uniform on he could very well pass as a soldier just from looks alone
Tohsin let out a small whistle
"Come on, let's go"
"yeah."
