《From NPC to villain》Chapter 1. A dream come true

Atrak is a wonderful city of adventurers. Always lively, always noisy. Crowds of locals are always ready to help future heroes. Moreover, children are no exception.
Today again, the noisy residents of the city gathered in the square to meet the new hero of this week. User_15618 gained level 42 and defeated the dark orc Malguhn, the boss of the level 5 Black Shadow Dungeon.
The huge crowd cheered and rejoiced. In addition, the closely packed rows of townspeople blocked the whole picture for little Alme. She tried to see the hero at least out of the corner of her eye, but it turned out to be difficult for her. Even standing on tiptoe, she was only at the level of the backs of all adults.
Nagrida: Do you really want to see a hero, Alme?
Alme: Of course!
Nagrida: Then, can we go to the first row?
The girl's eyes shone with happiness. Nagrida took her daughter by the hand and began to squeeze through the crowd. Coming forward, the girl first noticed the camels in armor and only lifting her head saw the hero. The sight of the hero mesmerized her.
Alme: Mom, is it difficult to be a hero?
Nagrida: Of course. Being a hero is a huge work and responsibility. After all, heroes protect us, ordinary people, from all the troubles that lurk behind the walls of the city.
Alme: The heroes are so strong!
Nagrida: Of course. However, even the strong need help. That is why we have to work for the benefit of the heroes. This is the only way we can repay them for their protection.
Alme: Mommy, can I help the heroes too?
Nagrida: Of course, but for that you need to grow up first.

Alme: Calling you a Necromancer is a little awkward for me.
Necromancer: Thank you for bringing me back. It seems that no one wanted to deal with my resurrection.

Kyo: Why do you always call for the resurrection of this monster, Alme?!
Alme: Mr. Lurg is not a monster. This is his position.
Kyo: Open your eyes! He is a Necromancer. His army kills heroes every day.
Alme: We need the Necromancer's army to train heroes. If this training doesn't happen, there will be no one to protect us.
Kyo: How stubborn you are after all.
Alme: *Hee-hee*

Fated To Fall: A Transmigrator LitRPG Tale
She had welcomed Death with open arms, and was more than happy to spend her afterlife floating in the void. Until a Goddess decides she has better plans for her and offers her a choice any fantasy loving geek would die for. However after accepting the offer she learned the hard way that one should always read the fine print, especially when dealing with a God. Now she's been dropped into the world that inspired her favorite game. Except the body she now inhabits is that of the final boss of the game, only 8 years before she comes into her cataclysmic powers. She now has to avoid the machinations of a family that at best wants nothing to do with her and at worst wants her dead. Avoid any and all Heroes with a proclivity for decapitation, complete a Goddess's vague Quest to save the fate of the world, tame every cute magical beast she can get her hands on. Oh and probably find a way to smack said Goddess who thought putting her in the body of the character with the worst Tragic Backstory™ was a good idea. Liliana Rosengarde might be Fated to Fall but this little bird just found her wings and won't be hitting the ground anytime soon. The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper
8 138Desolate Stars
Human civilisation has at last settled into their place in the galaxy. Trade flourishes and civilisation resurges. Technology is finally catching up to the wonders of days bygone. But that’s only on the surface. Humanity is always a little uglier beneath the skin. A life among the stars. Travelling. Seeing new sights. Is it a good life? Is it a bad life? That depends. Because usually it isn’t that simple. And it’s never the stars you have to watch out for, it’s the people around you. Kik is soon shoved into a position he has no choice but to take. He’s just a tool in the great game of galactic politics. But every tool has their uses, and this particular tool has his own will. This is a science fiction adventure story. I’m attempting to go with gritty realism.
8 96How To: Survive Teenagehood
There is a stage between childhood and adulthood that makes us all want to bang our heads into a concrete wall as if that will somehow make us forget the things we did in that cringe-worthy stage of adolescence. That golden era of bad haircuts, first and last dates, and that undeniable feeling of wanting to fit in. Teenagehood. Surviving it is a feat in itself, and the memories you make may haunt you forever. So this is my guide to the good, the bad, and the ugly of surviving teenagehood. Yes this will include anecdotes.[Highest Rank: #1 in Non-Fiction 16.10.17]
