As Mylo was enjoying his current situation, a sudden vibration could be felt throughout the castle. Light started emerging below his feet, increasing in intensity every passing second. The golden patterned started glowing and forming what seemed to be a magic circle.
“W-what’s going on?”
The light started surrounding him and within seconds, he disappeared from the hall as if he was never there to begin with.
*Whoosh*
“Where…?”

Before he knew it, he was transported to one of the major regions of second chronicles. He looked around; the many people present were hunting monsters in order to level up. While some were talking to non-player character (NPC) in order to receive quests and increase their reputation or affinity with them. It hasn’t been long since the servers opened, most players were still level 1.Few managed to reach level 2, and those individuals were most likely core members from major guilds.
“My initial start was unexpected but more than welcome. If I was kept there I wouldn’t know where to start, good thing I got transported at one of the starting kingdoms. What should my next move be? Should I hunt a few monsters or do some quests?”

“Oh! A class quest, no wonder the forest is dynamic. Trying to get the 1st rank reward huh?”
Mylo knew he never had a chance to reach level 10 first. There were two reasons for that; first reason was the fact than billions of people were currently playing the game, they’re bound to be geniuses specialized in levelling. He was certain that he wasn’t talented enough; he was the type of person to slowly customize his character with the weirdest possible combinations. The second reason is ‘Half-exp’ penalty he received from the ego sword.
“Hmm, there’s no need to do novice quests. I should wander around in a higher level area. Since I got an ego sword whose starting physical damage is at one-hundred I could easily head to level 5 or more monster area.”
Mylo marched ahead of the people fighting rabbits and chickens in the field, heading to a less populated area as well as a more dangerous one.
“Hey! Look at that guy…”
“What is he doing? His level is too low to head there.”
“What do you expect from a noob? I bet he thinks his the hot shit.”
“Forget about him, just focus on the rabbit. I don’t want to get kill steal (KS) again.”
“Yeah, let’s go!”
Mylo wasn’t concerned by their words, he had something they didn’t. Early advantage!
“Oof, silence is so much better; they can fight all they want on those low level mobs. I have other plans.”
“Anyway, what’s up with this place?”
The forest was enormous and gloomy .A dissonance of animal noises; predominantly those of small creatures, filled the air, and were strangely synchronized with the sounds of several gusting leaves. The giant Tree’s occasional openings allowed plenty of sun light through for vibrant light to spread in the soils below.
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOO…”
“HUH?”
“WOOOOOOOOOOO….”
Abrupt sounds of howling could be heard throughout the forest. The howl in the gloom, a creak of wood and suddenly Mylo is face to face with a 2 meters tall creature of flesh and fury, a hungry wolf. Two yellow eyes stare at him with a cold malice. The creature steps closer to him, its four legs calmly carry its carnivorous body with a calm energy.
Mylo slowly takes out his rapier and ready’s himself for battle.
