Kartik Khandelwal
I was sitting on the soft white bed in the hospital. I watched the greenery outside the window when suddenly my phone started singing. I moved my hands inside the pocket and took it out. “Hello?”
“Hey, K-Kartik…” The feminine voice asked me. “H-How’re you?”
“I-I’m fine, but… who’re you?”
“Radhika… Radhika Khatri. Remember me?” She shyly asked.
“R-Radhika…” I thought for a second. “W-Where have you been for such a long time?”
“I-I…” she hung up.
“Hello? Hello?!” I screamed. Then, I saw at my phone and called her again. It said, “The number you’ve dialed is currently busy.”
“Shit!” I thought. “I needa go to DPHQ quick to see how did she find out my number.”
Prakash Kedia
I walked inside the room with a scary expression on my face. I had gone completely out of my mind with that scary look. “Yo, assholes!”
“W-What’re you--” Mr. Mukesh was confused. “What the hell are you gonna do?”
“Ain’t that obvious?!” I took up the bottle of kerosene which was beside me facing the wall and moved it in front of the open door so both of them can see. “I actually thought to just burn this fucking place, but you two were not just ready to budge, so I thought of another plan.”
“W-What plan?”
“Well, you seem quite curious, little chick-head!” I cussed. “Anyways, lemme clear that doubt too!” I walked towards them and said, “I’m gonna kill you two and burn your bodies here. No one will ever find out that your bodies were bleeding.” I tilted my head in a creepy and devilish way and said, “NO ONE WILL EVER FIND OUT IF YOU WERE KILLED!”

Mr. Mukesh gulped. “B-But why’re you killing us? What did we do to you?”
“I AM THE FOURTH MOLE, ASSHOLE!” I screamed.

Kavita stopped running in front of the same white bungalow and dashed inside. The police had been on duty and there were no reporters now. “Mom! Dad!” She screamed on top of her lungs as she ran. She opened the door and entered inside, only to see the hall covered with policemen and investigators talking here and there seriously. She turned left and ran inside the room. It was covered with yellow and black belts with ‘Crime Scene’ written on them. She looked inside at the scene marked with chalks and all. She even saw that blood was still kept as it was. “M-Mom! DAD!”
An inspector came from behind and said, “Ma’am, please, get yourself.”
“MOMMM! DADDD!” She screamed on the top of her lungs. She crouched down and sat on her knees. She covered her face with her hands and started crying. “DADDD! Why did you leave me behind?!”
Kartik Khandelwal
I walked inside the main entrance of the DPHQ and went straight to the reception at the right of me. I asked the woman at the reception, “Ma’am, was there someone who asked for my phone number here?”
“No, sir. There was no one, as I can remember,” She replied.
“Maybe a woman, like of my age.”
“No, sir. We don’t provide personal information of investigators, as you might know.”
“Yeah I know, but, you know, maybe casually or to a friend or something.”
“No,” She shook her head.
Suddenly, there was an announcement in the whole building, “Attention everyone. Please use emergency exits to exit away from the building. There has been a fire in the basement. I repeat…” Suddenly, my eyes widened at the thought--“Wait, Security Room is in the basement!” I suddenly turned right and went straight for the stairway. I dashed downwards and saw that there was a fire at the right side of the stairway. I turned right and looked at the door where the fire was coming from.

“L-Leave us…” Mr. Mukesh begged while lying on the ground. His head was bleeding and he was raising his hands at Prakash who was throwing kerosene at him. The computers, laptops and all other equipment were already burning around them. “P-Please…”
“Nah,” Prakash replied. “Go to hell, shitheads.” He then threw the empty bottle at one side and took out a matchstick from his matchbox. He lighted it and threw it down. It went downwards slowly and landed on Mr. Mukesh’s back. His coat was lighted and he was burning. “AGHH!” He shouted.
I didn’t see any of this. As I just reached at the basement, I saw Prakash coming out of the room. He was scared to hell. “K-Kartik!”
“What happened?!” I asked.
“M-Mr. Mukesh… and another young man… are-are under the fire!”
“What?!” I screamed as I dashed towards the room. I saw him burning in the fire.
“M-Mr. Kartik…” That man said. But suddenly, some heavy burning equipment fell on him.
“MUKESH!” I screamed.
