Chapter 11

Marega's face had become twisted in anger. How was he supposed to endure such shame.

By now 13 of his hunters were sprawled across the floor. Although they were new recruits, but he still had put a lot of effort into building his team.

And now, his efforts were being mocked by one man.

Having had enough, Marega threw the wine goblet to the ground and roared,

[All of you, STAND BACK! Nobody gets between me & him. I will teach this rascal to not look down on us.]

Pulling his sword in front of himself, Marega charged straight at Drone with full power.

*CLANSH*

Drone tried to parry the leader's sword, but he was blown away instead, only stopping some distance further.

Drone looked in the eyes of the hunter's leader & smiled delightfully. He mumbled,

[Finally someone worthy enough to challenge me..]

Drone decided to change his tactics and started to deploy feint attacks, not engaging in a face off.

He knew that in terms of strength, the hunter's leader was stronger, but strength was not everything in a battle.

Utilizing his power & agility, Drone continuously avoided Marega's attacks and made shallow cuts across his body.

His tactic was simple, to bleed the leader to death!

When Adrian arrived at the meeting venue, he found most of the hunters collapsed & only a few standing on guard.

The hunter's leader & Drone were engaged in a lengthy battle, so Adrian decided to play his role in the battle too.

He summoned the Grimer and asked it to inch towards the hunters one by one & to incapacitate them, as they had done previously.

This time however, Adrian was noticed earlier on. He was too conspicuous among the fallen hunters.

Adrian knew that he had stirred the hornet's nest. He kept the Grimer on standby and tried to take a defensive posture.

A hunter lost his patience & attacked him directly,

[AAAAHHH!]

The hunter was prepared to cut this intruder into several pieces, however,

[Uwoohh?!]

His body lost balance, as Grimer had interfered with his charge, pulling one of his legs.

As the body of the hunter fell, Adrian launched his POUND move, targeting the face of the hunter.

*POOWW*

A loud sound echoed, which even caused Marega to look back towards his back, breaking his defense for a moment & adding further new injuries to his body.

Marega issued a signal for all hunters to assemble, but it was doomed from the get go.

He noticed with bated breaths as the village buildings in the distance were engulfed in flames.

The whole village was on fire!

The scattered hunters panicked and tried to run away.

The villagers looked dazedly at this scene. They all wanted to abandon the village, but not like this!

Of course, this was the result of Adrian's hard labor. His sweet gift for the hunters & villagers alike.

The hunter's jaw had dislocated, as blood & teeth flew out of his mouth. He fell unconscious, unable to deal with the excruciating pain.

Adrian himself too was surprised. He never imagined that this move could have such power, since he had been too afraid to face these hunters.

He felt like Hulk when punching him like that. Of course, he forgot about his total lack of skill in fighting & Grimer's essential role in turning the situation around.

He just felt too happy with himself.

(...only if there was a naked blonde princess watching me save her like this...)

Perverted thoughts filled Adrian's head as he lost his focus.

The hunter made use of this moment & they all rushed at him together.

Grimer tried to entangle & injure them, but what could he alone do against such numbers.

At the moment when the hunters were about to reach Adrian, the hunter at the back started to roar like a beast, attracting everyone's attention.

A yellow aura had enveloped him and kept rising above akin to flames.

Adrian thought of a possibility & his face turned pale immediately.

(...Super saiyan? Don't tell me, he has a system too?!...)

The aurafied hunter stopped his roaring & then started to fight the other hunters, dismissing them with ease.

Adrian looked on with surprise, as he couldn't fathom what was happening.

(...the Super saiyan is on our side?...)

The aurafied hunter's fighting style was reckless. Even if his body was constantly being injured, he moved without the fear of death.

Adrian & Grimer could only look at all this speechlessly.

Adrian then judged the aurafied hunter as an ally and started to focus on the fight between the hunter's leader & Drone.

Drone, albeit less injured, was still exhausted after fighting for so long. In comparison, Marega was still full of energy, however his new injuries hindered him greatly.

Adrian decided to end the battle and ordered the Grimer to sneak behind the leader's back.

The Grimer then used DISABLE & the sword swinging downwards on Drone halted in mid-air.

Drone noticed this & slashed his sword horizontally, decapitating the hunter's leader.

His head flew quite a distance away before landing among the villagers, who then started to cheer loudly & hailed Drone as their savior.

In their eyes, this fearless warrior took on all of the hunters by himself & came out victorious, all for the sake of his wife.

The ladies of the village were all charmed by him & looked at Drone with flirty eyes.

Adrian, however, went unnoticed. Adrian himself was more curious about the aurafied warrior & approached him cautiously.

[Um, Hello Mister. Thank you for saving me. Aren't you hurt too much? Come with us. We have medicine for you.]

The aurafied hunter looked at Adrian with curious eyes. He was initially planning to go away, but was intrigued by Adrian's insistence.

Curving his lips upwards, the aurafied hunter asked,

[Oh? Are you sure you want me to follow you? Can I trust your words? You won't be able to back away~]

Adrian became puzzled.

(...it's just a little medicine. If I beat up the Doctor a little, he would give it to me for free. Also, if this guy follows us from now on, we would be invincible!...)

Making his decision, Adrian promised,

[I swear on my life, soul & existence that I mean you no harm & want you to follow us wholeheartedly!]

Adrian knew that promises like this were sacred in this world & were used to declare one's utmost sincerity.

Those that violated such promises would suffer heavenly retribution!

Adrian wanted this guy to follow him at all costs. He didn't know when he would be able to catch strong Pokemon, and so wanted to recruit this guy.

After today's battle, Adrian came to know the importance of having a lot of strong subordinates.

He couldn't fight all battles alone. Even Drone would have had an easier time if he had better allies.

[Hahahahaha!!]

The aurafied hunter laughed heartily.

He clasped Adrian's hands and said,

[I accept your promise. We would stay together for all eternity, Darling~]

After saying this, the yellow aura on the hunter disappeared, and the severely injured hunter bled profusely as he collapsed.

Adrian became shocked, before recovering as he sneered and thought,

(...hah..I wasted my promise on this guy. Couldn't even stay alive & wants to stay together for all eternity. And why did he called me Darling? Was he crazy or on drugs?...)

Adrian was unable to comprehend this mystery as he let the matter go. The guy was dead anyways.

The thought of creating a strong party for his protection didn't leave his mind however.

Adrian rushed to the happy villagers & grabbed the Doctor as he threatened,

[Hey Doc, I have save your daughter. Now hand me my maid, NOW.]

The Doctor replied happily & said,

[Don't worry Lord. Your warrior Drone has already been accepted as my daughter's husband by the villagers, so she would accompany you for sure. Also, she has inherited my knowledge in medicine. She would be a great asset to your team!]

Adrian became shocked. Drone already married her?!

[No Way!! I refuse to acknowledge this marriage!]

Adrian then pushed the Doctor aside as he headed towards Drone, fuming with anger.

(...how can I not be angry?! My dearest pussy was stolen right before my eyes!...)

Adrian pulled Drone aside, away from the crowd of the villagers as he enquired,

[You are too good, Drone. Stealing your Master's maid right before me. You grew some balls alright!]

Drone looked at Adrian as he became puzzled, before he came to a realization & he replied,

[I have not done so, Young Master. It is just these villager's ramblings. Forget it. The lady is yours for taking. Look, she is staring right at us.]

When Drone pointed at the lady, the lady in question smiled and waved back.

An electric shock passed through Adrian's spine, as his head started to spin.

(...Did that Doctor fuck a goat or something?! How could such an Ugly creature be called a human?! AHHHH!! I was DUPED!!...)

Adrian collapsed while foaming from his mouth.

The Grimer approached Adrian & started to console him,

As Adrian was being carried away, Grimer went back into the system space and the new maid & the self designated wife of Drone, Ella followed along.

The villagers too collected any leftover belongings and departed the village.

They, however, failed to notice someone following them from behind.
