"Dragons dragons, What should I do? I should probably discuss this with the other kingdoms but the dwarves may want to attack them, As I heard from Whitlock we only have small chance dragons are supposed to be extinct" I said while walking back and forth

"What if I only told it to the elves? No cause maybe the dwarves will get insulted and start a war between us, Goddammit!" I shouted before punching the wall which made my hand bleed a little "What should I do?" I said before getting a medic to heal my arm

After they healed my arm I made my decisions I should only send a letter to the elves and if the dwarves realized they didn't get one I will just have to think of an excuse, But in order to keep this away from the dwarves I need to get them to know my plan after that they should help me hide it from the dwarves

I wrote a letter to the elves contending all the information the kid gave with my plan to hide it to the dwarves hopefully they agree with this, If not and they told the dwarves my plan they would definitely get angry and start a war with us, I don't care who wins but I'm more worried about the damage it will cause for the both of us

After some time I got a response from the elves and the dwarves I opened the dwarves letter first it said "Congratulations on having the first people to return back from the forest" That's all it said I was so stressed I took a nap before reading the elves response

The letter said "I understand why you would want to keep this from the dwarves but we should have a meeting just the two of us cause I still have questions about that young kid, You should meet me at my kingdom try your best to hide its bad if you got caught of getting seen having a meeting, They could probably even spend rumors about us so what do you say? if so remember where we first encounter each other, The west coast along the sunset around 5 pm see you there -you're friend Almir Grace" That was it "I'll see you later old friend" I said with a smirk

"Now I need a plan on how to escape from this kingdom who knows this city the best and also knows about the dragons, I need Cecilia!" I shouted after some time Cecilia came in from the doors "Is there anything you need your majesty?" She asked "Yes but please close the door first and I'll tell you everything" She closed the door and I explained everything to her

After that, She saluted and said "I'll do my best to help you, your majesty"

"I'm so bored," I said while skipping rocks into the sea after some time I heard someone called me "What are you doing here human," someone said I turned around and saw an elf around my age "What do you mean?" I asked "This is the elf territory" he answered "Not it's not and plus why can't we just live in peace right," I said before looking back at the sunset "What do you mean?" he asked "We all need the same things to live we both are alive but they keep on killing each other its the worst I just want to live a peaceful life," I said before looking back at him

"What's your name?" I asked "Why would I say my name to a human which is an enemy of elves, in fact, why am I even talking to you when I should just kill you and make my kingdom proud!" he shouted "And continue the killing? why can't we just lived for peace that's all I want peace is all I wanted!" I shouted at him before jumping at him and holding him down "I don't want to hurt you or anybody so please cooperate with me!"

I said before he calmed down, I let go of him and sat while looking at the sunset "So will you answer my question? what's your name" I said before he got up and said "Alvin, Alvin Grace nice to meet you?" Alvin asked while signalling me to tell my name "Ren, Ren sharp nice to meet you Alvin Grace" as I looked closer I saw his golden hair that reached his waist and blue eyes with a sharp jawline he was wearing a dark green robe with a brown suit vest with a white shirt under it and long dark green pants

After I told him that he started to walk somewhere "Come back here tomorrow I'll make sure I'm the one who pins you down!" he said making me chuckle "All right see ya! tomorrow" I shouted before going back home

It's been 10 years since we met each other we got closer every time we train each other, After some time while watching the sunset I spoke: "The war hasn't stopped yet, Can you keep a promise?" I asked Alvin "Sure, What is it?" He replied, "Will you promised me that we will both become kings of our kingdom and stopped the war?" I said before looking at him "You've read my mind, I was going to tell you that but I guess you were faster, Welp I gotta go home see you tomorrow" he said waving back to me before going back to his village

After that day I came back every time but never saw him I was tempted to go to his kingdom and try to find him but I stopped myself because it was suicide after a week of him missing I go back to my home only to be discovered I got drafted into the army

After that five months of intense training, I got moved into the front lines as we charge we finally collided I tried my best not to kill anyone before I heard someone calling my name "Ren!, REN!" Someone shouted behind me it was a familiar voice as I turned around I saw Alvin whose standing there I ran towards him but before I got closed enough to touch him A sword came out from his stomach we both realized he had just been stabbed I rushed towards him and killed the guy who had stabbed him even though he was on my team my emotions got the better of me after that I looked at Calvin and rushed next to him

"Don't die on me now! we have a promise to finished, please" I said while tears began to roll down on my face I checked for his pulse, Nothing "He's gone but there's no way right?" I talked to myself which felt like time stopped, After that, a soldier saw me holding the corpse of an enemy "Traitor!" he shouted before started to swing his sword at me but another sword interfered, It was an elf "He's your comrade human scum" the elf said before killing him after that it was a blur all I could remember was looking at Alvin's corpse

After the war, I sat on the beach where we met each other "You again?" Someone said behind me I saw him or at least someone who looked liked Alvin "Do I know you?" I asked "I'm the one that saved you from dying and the reason I did that, It's because I've never seen my brother Alvin so happy I have been watching you guys fr the past year, Nice to meet you Ren my name is Almir, Almir grace he told me about your promised he said if anything happens to him I have to replace, so I hope we can continue it," He said which cause me to smirk "Of course Nice to meet you Almir grace"
