《Angelic Summons》A Simple Discussion
Advertisement
My summons had only given a brief introduction of themselves and seemed unable to discuss certain topics. The red ball in the sky was one of them, while the interface was another.
The error messages seemed slightly alarming, and it took a little bit of effort to dismiss and minimize the interface.
For now at least dismissing notifications seems to be the extent of my ability.
~~~~~~~~~~
The Q&A session carried on for a few more minutes with the rest of my questions being limited in scope to avoid any type of restriction mentioned earlier during my questioning.
It turns out the summons did have some sort of directive and were keyed into a few of the possible evolutions for my summoning skill, which was… unexpected to say the least, as it brought to my mind some questions about sentience which I saved for later.
My summons having knowledge about evolution direction was not mentioned by Acedia in our deal but it was a minor factor as I now had multiple sources of information.
They seemed to be conflicting however as the Caster and Warrior both favored there personal alignment.
A distinction which was made apparent soon after the initial meeting when they were summoned.
It seemed as If they both held a healthy amount of contempt if not animosity towards one another under the surface.
The skull faced Warrior showed about as much emotion as you would expect from a dead fish, while Caster did an almost perfect imitation.
Despite this they began a series of verbal jabs and scathing remarks which clearly displayed the difference in alignment.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The stress from the entire situation made me realize just how out of my element I truly was.
…
I needed to get some air.
Interrupting them both I told them that I would return in a few minutes after taking a short walk.

The last thing I wanted in this situation was to be in the same room as a dead body and a coma patient. My apartment was sapping my energy after a short stay.
Walking out the apartment doors the howling wind greeted me. The night was dark but street lights and window lights had illuminated most of the night.
It was a nice night and I was able to settle myself after a few minutes out in the cold pacing around.
Looking at the building again I found my eyes drawn to the view of my apartment from the outside. It wasn’t so dark as most of the neighbors lights were on and I could vaguely catch a few shadows moving around the room.
It looks like they made themselves busy…
The silhouettes stopped moving soon after I started to head back up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Caster has taken a separate room to herself while I was gone, and “Mr. Fish”was trying to tend to Acedia.
There was no longer a body in the corner and all of the blood seemed to be gone.
I was a little puzzled but chalked it up to my summons taking care of it. I was more than a little curious about some of the abilities they showed earlier. Like the Halo that the Caster seemed to use after the guy fired his gun and died.
Maybe I can take a look at the summons menu?
I shrugged to my self and brought up the menu while I walked to the kitchen to fix myself a sandwich.
Did I name him?
I squinted at the name before moving on and clicking both of their entries.
Quite interesting. It looks like I will have a lot to figure soon.
A wave of fatigue hit me as I looked at the summons information.
Dismissing the tab I finished my sandwich and looked around my apartment again…
Where should I sleep?
Where Giants Fall
A fantasy LitRPG about traversing through worlds and slaying giants with nothing but a wooden suit and an army of treants. Nicholas Atkins didn't expect to wake up naked in the glowing woods. What he did expect was waking up to a hangover after last night's party- fortunately, that wasn't the case. Unfortunately though, he had worse problems to take care of than a headache. At first he blamed it on the alcohol; from what he recalled in Biology, glowing flowers didn't exactly exist in the realm of reality. However he was as sober as he could be, so next he blamed the drugs, but there was a problem- he didn't have the money to do drugs in the first place. When the fairies came, things became even weirder. Talks of climbing towers, magic tricks, and dinner were all on the table. Of course, dinner was the priority, but so was getting back home. However slowly, Nico realized that he might actually want to stay in this fantasy world. After all, he's had enough listening to Professor Paul's lecture on calculus- the swords and sorceries were just an added bonus. Still, staying in this new world has its own costs- and money is but one thing on that long, long list. Updated everyday except Saturday GMT+8 (Specific time varies by around 30 minutes).
