《Angelic Summons》Decisive Struggle

There was a gun in front my face. It was a small black handgun, very shiny and shaking violently. He was scared.
How did he get in my apartment? I was stuck in a trance as I looked down the barrel of his gun.
He tried to say something to me, but his first breaths came out as raspy gasps of air.
I had seen this man in my apartment building before. It took me a second to recognize him. He was the Landlord and had access to the maintenance keys for all the units. I don't know why he was in my apartment or had a gun, but I hoped I could convince him to not try and shoot me.
Before I could say anything to him, he was managed to bark out a question through his rapid gasps of air.
"What the hell is that thing?!" He motioned pointing towards the figure on the bed. Clearly too tall and skinny to pass of as human. Acedia's front half was also covered in blood from his seizure in my vision.
I made towards the bed intent on checking his condition as a shot barely missed me and hit the wood on the doorframe. Splitting it apart and sending some shards flying.
"What The Fuck Is That?!" He yelled this time; his head was a deep shade of red as he attempted to aim at me again. Having missed before due to my unexpected movement.
I was in shock, I think. The earlier incident today in the street definitely did not help my mental sanity and having a potential thief shooting at me definitely pushed me over the edge.
I forgot about trying to communicate and lunged at him.
-----------
Having never been in a fight before was definitely a limiting factor in a fight but so was having only one arm. I had grabbed him on my way down to the floor after a failed lunge and was wildly swinging at him from previously waist level height.

He kept his hand on the pistol but was too chubby and short to get an accurate shoot immediately. So, he tried to uppercut me from the ground only to miss as I whiffed yet another swing.
My brain was confused and kept prompting me to attack with my left arm. This wasn't working for either of us so we both tried to pin the other on the floor. I had the advantage at the beginning due to my larger size and weight advantage when he was still clutching onto the pistol, but our wrestling had apparently knocked the gun out of his slick meaty fingers. Giving him access to both of his hands. which he took full advantage of.
He grabbed my free arm and wrenched control from me with both of his hands. He pulled me onto my side and went for the gun which had fallen near my feet.
I pulled back my leg and kicked him under the chin with as much force as I could muster. My foot slid off of his chin and grazed his cheek. The force of the kick flung the small portly man off of me. I could hear him cry out in pain as I managed to kick the gun away a second before, he grabbed at it again. He grabbed the gun at an awkward angle and took a few seconds to try and point it at me as I tried to get up.
His red face was scuffed, and I could see some blood mixed with the sweat which drenched him. He whipped towards me, and I was left without options on the floor. Lunging at him was not an option, and I wasn't able to kick him again. I doubt he would hesitate twice to shoot me.
He stood up with some labored breathing and a blot of blood fell out of his mouth which he ignored. My kick earlier didn't fully connect but it looks like I still did a lot of damage.

He held his head and groaned.
"Who the hell are you?"
...
He doesn't recognize me?
"I'm-"
"Shut the hell up." He snapped at me. His eyes were bloodshot now, and he looked desperate.
"I've seen you come in and out of this apartment for about a week now, and there is no trace of the former resident left. I checked before you came back."
I looked at him shocked. I know I was missing a few limbs but I wasn't a different person.
Trying to talk again I apparently spooked him enough to make him jerk his head towards me.
He closed his eyes.
His gun was not shaking anymore.
Before he pulled the fired I did the only thing I could do.
