Underground the city,in a secret tomb, guards stalk the hallways, their leather boots clicking on the smooth stone floors, their swords hang loosely by their sides, and once in a while you can hear screaming, horrible screaming and muffled crying , the guards wear masks that hide their identity and stuff their ears with ear muffs A man is being dragged past cells, prisoners yell at the guards carrying him although they are paid no heed probably because they can't be heard, the gaurds take turn after turn before dumping him in front of a huge steel door and hurriedly backing away, the poor man screams and struggles to break free from his binds while the door slowly creeks open, a deformed hands slowly crawls out the door, latching unto his legs, if anything his screams increase in crescendo and the guards back away from the door, next comes a hand through the door, even worst than the first covered in scars and bruises and injuries and puss and blood,it latches onto his legs like the first, then there is a clicking sound, the tomb is silent save for the clicking, just then his gang comes of "no!!! Please no!!! I'll do anything!!! Please... " he doesn't say much, a third hand clamps his mouth shut and muffles his screams, he is pulled into the room and the huge steel door slams shut, the guards hurriedly throw their weight on it and bar it with a huge rod Something pounds on the door for a minute before there is silence once more, then the prison regains its lively gait, insults are hurled, curses are screamed, prayers are uttered, people pound on their bars, in one of the cells, two men sit beside each other playing a game of cards while a lady lies on a bench on the other side of the cell,a little boy sits beside Levi, and a dwarf stands by the bars hurtling curses at the guards ,Levi bangs his head on the stone walls, sighing softly he mutters a prayer for the man who had been no doubt killed "didn't think you could pray " the lady says "I had a lot of practice when I was little " Levi drawls "I wonder when that'll happen to us" the little kid whispers "to you " the dwarf corrects "I'm getting out of here" "that's impossible" the boy retorts "is it? " the dwarf smirks "it's never been done" the lady says tucking a strand of her white hair behind her ear "now now, armon, you should learn to be optimistic " Armon rolls her eyes "could you shut up!!" the player on the right yells and the cell falls quiet, he was a brute, about 7 feet tall, hair tied into a ponytail, his grey eyes held intelligence, he could weigh 320 pounds, he wore a vest and a blue trouser "what's got your panties in a bunch" armom turns to him "I'm trying to concentrate here" he says "oooh lemme guess , tarique is winning " "I'v already won" tarique says flipping over his stack of kings and one queen "damn it... " "hand it over, runt" tarique says reaching out and runt reluctantly reaches into his pocket and pulls out a mint condition magazine, grumbling he hands it over to tarique "yesss...i won... Ha..." tarique does a dance routine before settling down to read the magazine "so childish " the kid says "ehhh!!! I'm not" tarique yells "tch" the dwarf leans against the wall "so childish" armon sighs "do you have a plan to get out of here?" levi turns to the dwarf The dwarf nods and all eyes turn to him "the guards start their patrol as soon as the sun comes up, they leave about 30 minutes later after checking None of the prisoners slipped out in the night, they return about 30 minutes later with breakfast, after that its recess 3 hours then its time for the tournaments, 6 hours later they bring dinner replacing the dead prisoners with new prisoners, then its time to feed that monstrosity, then they return the prisoners to their cells, then its lights out" "so the best time to get the fuck out of here is during the tournaments"
