《I'll become your Knight》Chapter 26

Shiho let go of Kazemis head,
“I suppose the difference in ability was far greater than expected, my mistake.” She said cheerfully.
She began walking away with the satisfaction of displaying her superiority over a rival until the silent moans behind her became present.
“W-where…do you think you’re going?”, Kazemi muttered.
She barely managed to find her way on to her feet but when she did she appeared unstable as if she would fall over at any moment.
Scratches and dust covered her body and training uniform which showed just how brutal her attack was and even more impressive that Kazemi remained standing.
Shihos expression shifted from a casual grin to the serious face of an opposing fighter. To her surprise she looked forward to a wounded opponent who was ready to take action.
(I definitely held back in order to avoid any permanent or long lasting damage however it should have been more than enough to take her out.)
“Not bad but certainly not impressive.” ,Shiho said to herself.
“You can’t even muster a mana body, combine that factor with the damage you have taken and there’s no way you’ll land an effective blow on me.”
Kazemi took a position that enabled her to be ready to attack, she lowered her head while maintain eye contact and clenched her teeth tightly.
(She’s right.
I can’t use mana body yet but if that’s supposed to mean I can’t hit this bitch back then I say screw that!)
Kazemi burst forward with all her strength and ran towards Shiho, due to the damage she had sustained she was not running at her full speed but she was definitely not falling behind.
She was moving remarkably fast for someone in her condition but it was not enough to impress Shiho who was in mana body already.

To her Kazemi was moving in slow motion.
Kazemi reached the striking range and launched into the air beside Shihos head with her leg raised but still tucked in.
She prepared a large hook kick that was set up perfectly; this was a signature move for Kazemi that she had prepared well over the course of a year.
The kick made impact just as she had planned but when she looked closely she noticed there was no effect on Shiho.
Shiho had caught her ankle right before it made contact with the side of her head which absorbed the impact of the attack.
“When did you-” ,Kazemi muttered.
“As I said before...” ,
Shiho tossed Kazemis leg in front of her which sent her flying back; she landed in the crouched position and was completely dumbfounded.
She never expected the signature move she had been training for a year to be bested by a single hand.
This was a clear sign to how magic power was so vastly superior to basic athletic ability; someone with high magic will always best someone with little magic. This was the ideology that was known to the world.
“…The difference in ability was that much.” ,Shiho stated.
A flustered expression ran across Kazemis face when she heard those words because they had been what she had feared for too long now.
Kazemis legs began shaking even though she was not aware of it, she was frightened. She took a step back and clenched two hard fists when thinking that she could not affect this person.
A fellow student had become an invincible force that she could not overcome.
“If you’re afraid then why go on, let’s end this.”
Kazemi held up both her arms in front of her and placed them in a cross arm block.

“You can forget about running away even if you’re scared, let’s continue!” ,Kazemi barked.
“…Fine then. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
Shiho rushed ahead with her arms pointing back and her head low, swiftly gliding through the air like an arrow.
She planted her fist deep into Kazemis stomach until her legs were lifted slightly off the ground, causing her to release a cluster of spit from her mouth.
“Blagh!”
Kazemi dropped back down but remained standing on her feet; she held her stomach as the pain branded into her gut.
Searing pain from Shihos iron fist made her feel as if she had ruptured organs floating inside of her; she nearly vomited from the intensity but managed to keep it down.
(This is getting pitiful now; she won’t go down from these weak attacks so the next one will have to be a finishing blow.)
Kazemi looked up to see that Shiho did not move back from the spot she had attacked her from, she even looked bored.
“Aren’t you going to move back to prepare your defense?” ,
Kazemi barely managed to release those words.
“Do you even see a point in me doing so?” ,Shiho commented.
Her tone dulled to a further unenthusiastic nature. Normally behavior like this would enrage Kazemi and fuel her to strike back but she knew that Shihos words were right. She had been thinking similar things and she wondered if maybe she should not listen to her screaming muscles and sore body by just falling over then and there.
“No, I will continue!”, She yelled.
She managed to find the strength to lift her leg and kick once more but the only difference here was that she could not bring herself to jump.
Her body did not have the strength and she feared that once she went up then coming down would lead to it all ending.
The attack was blocked by her forearm which took no effort at all, not even fazing her.
Shihos dark aura was beginning to fade slightly but was still strong enough to enhance her body’s abilities.
“This play session can finally end with this.”
Kazemi lowered her leg and stumbled to the side as she tried to gain good footing. She was so exhausted that she couldn’t find the strength to raise her arms.
When she saw Shiho raise a fist above her head she threw up an above head block in a desperate attempt.
Shihos fist dropped down onto Kazemis arms that were blocking her head but broke through easily causing her to fall down.
“Completely defeated.” ,Shiho said silently.
