《I'll become your Knight》Chapter 23

How do I turn this thing off I have never needed to, until now I have just used magic until exhaustion.
“Wait why is everyone backing up though, won’t it just run out and I’ll pass out again?”, I asked in a panicked tone.
The concerned looks on those around me quickly dismissed any faith I had in my question.
I’m screwed!
“Miss Hayashi…”
When I turned to her she had already joined the rest of the class in backing away from me.
“Even you?! Is it really that bad if it just keeps flowing out, it’s not like I’ll explode right?”
“…”
“…I’m going to explode?!”, I yelled in terror.
“Magic is unstable in its purest form so there is nyo predicting what it will do when released out of the body without a specific purpose. In most cases it means…boom.”,
Miss Hayashi gestured a small explosion with her hands.
Not even her cute attire could disguise the ever growing fear in my body at that moment.
“Please tell me you didn’t say boom, well isn’t there another way to turn it off!?”,
I asked in a concerned manner.
My stomach was aching and I was sweating profusely, my body was getting stressed and began feeling the burden of the magic I was constantly releasing.
The aura around me would not flow past a five meter distance but it would not stop moving either, it was in a constant state of fluctuation. Gold and subtle shades of white were bouncing off each other creating a glow against my pearly skin.
“Ah-”,
I couldn’t resist the sudden shock that went up my spine and throughout my body that brought me to my knee, with one arm planted on the ground I support to keep myself up.

“It’s a lot more taxing than I thought.”
“Alright then there’s another way we can sort this out, it’s a shame though I really was hoping he could manage on his own.”, Miss Hayashi muttered to herself as she walked towards me.
She walked over and stood right in front of the five meter range and reached into her back pocket taking out a small container.
It was a cylinder shaped container with a pin at the end which she ripped off and tossed in my direction,
“Sorry for this Koboyashi but this is going to knock nyou right out nyaa!”, she said.
The container released a silver gas with glittering specs into the area around me and quickly encompassed the glowing gold aura I released.
“Miss Hayashi what is that?”, Kazemi asked.
“That’s basic knockout gas with magic infused into it, it only affects knights because the compound latches onto magic energy and travels through it directly to reach your insides.”
“Gyaaa! Why isn’t this working?”, I asked.
The gas around me blew away when the aura surrounding me pulsed in a bright shade of gold.
“What the- that shouldn’t be able to happen, especially on his level of skill. Oh nyo it’s because he’s a divine series, his magic is negating the gases magic.”, she panicked.
“Are you trying to say that there’s no way to help him; cause forget about it we need to do something.”, Sora blurted out.
Sora was ready to charge in as he took 2 steps forwards before Miss Hayashi stepped him.
“Normally I would say that we just knock him out with force but he is negating magic so we will need to approach this with caution…”, Miss Hayashi said in a focused style.
Her voices tone had become slightly deeper and her eyes more focused, all traces of lax nature had faded away in seconds.

She raised her left arm forward and flames began wrapping themselves around her arm. Her arm had a leather and brown cloth material sleeve.
A red shoulder piece and bracer around her forearm glistened from the reflected flame embers used to call this armour; the metal was quite durable yet completely weightless.
In her hand an ember spread out into a pole which curved inward creating a bow.
The bow string was made from the thin remainders of that grandiose ember.
Miss Hayashi turned to one of the girls directions and presented her serious face,
“I’ll have to release as many attacks as I can in order to contain his magic from possibly spreading out.
If it gets worse then run to the building and get Miss Watanabe here immediately!”, she said strictly.
“Yes ma~am!”, the girl said as she straightened her posture.
The class began getting tense as they watched Miss Hayashi who had been the symbol of silliness so far getting into battle position and taking a serious tone.
Even her cat dialect had reverted into a stern tone that resembled Miss Watanabes usual tone.
“Koboyashi I only have to do this as a last resort for the safety of you and my students so please find it in you to control your power and seal your magic!” She yelled out to me.
She began lifting her bow at me and placed three fingers on the string of flames, leaving her pinkie tucked in and thumb bent at an angle.
After watching me carefully and noticing no progress with sealing my magic she assumed the worse and pulled the string back; anchoring her thumb against her jaw line and her index resting on the corner of her lip.
(Please Koboyashi dig deep and I know you can figure this out.), she thought to herself.
Seal it, seal it, come on just listen to me and seal yourself magic!!
What feeling do I have to resonate with in order to do this?
“Haruto just focus!”, Kazemi yelled out.
“Don’t make me knock you out before she does!”, Sora blurted out.
Both of them seemed extremely worried for me, so much so that they got worked up about it and genuinely felt angry that I wasn’t able to control my magic.
My eyes shifted to all of them standing there and I noticed Shiho who had already summoned her shield and was preparing to advance towards me.
Damn it if I don’t do this now then I’m guaranteed to put Shiho in danger, she won’t listen to me if I say not to come near me.
“What do I do…”, I asked in a panicked voice to myself.
Ayako had been staring at me with a serious expression, the look on her face somehow gave me the impression she knew the answer to my dilemma.
She raised her arms in front of her and made a gesture, with her left hand she held her hand open as if she was holding something and with her right hand she twisted it over the other hand.
“A jar?” ,I mumbled.
