《I'll become your Knight》Chapter 18

“What did you do with Shiho, she just fell through the floor?”, I asked nervously.
Wait a minute, if she could take out Shiho so easily, what does she have in store for me? Has she gotten to the rest of the group…
“It’s my ability, ‘shadow verse’. I can trap objects inside my shadow and recall them at any time I please; it’s one of the moves I possess as a shadow element knight. Although if I was you I wouldn’t worry so much about your little fan girl here and more about what I plan to do to you first!”
Shit, she is planning to hurt me, no…she’ll do a lot more than hurt me.
“Wait, did you say first? The others haven’t been punished yet?”
“Well I see you as the leader of that little runt group so the first attack falls onto you.”,
She pointed her index finger right in front of my nose as she finished that sentence.
“Gulp”
“Well then should I boil, burn, roast, there’s always skewer…”
“Uhm, ms.Watanabe-”
“What!”, she barked.
“Sorry! I don’t want anyone else getting in trouble for my mistake so I want to take all the punishment.”
“All of it?”
“All of it.”
“Fufufu very interesting. I doubt you would be able to survive anything I could dish out for you at that level though.”, She let out in a pleasant manner.
She began plotting to herself with no moments rest, some of the devious plans she let out to herself was so terrifying although I only caught tiny traces of the full ideas.
At one point she mentioned using a blade to do something but catch me again with a field of cacti which would be drenched in… Yeah not much of the details were included but enough to scare me on what future I had signed up for.

“You said you didn’t want anyone getting in trouble right, why is that? Why take the fall for all of them, especially the red oaf who’s actually at fault?”
The red oaf, oh she probably means Sora doesn’t she? Should I be honest, do I even have a proper answer? It just seems like the right thing to do.
“You called me their leader right; well shouldn’t that place this whole mess on me alone? I should have lead them properly.”
“Sigh~
Why did you have to get all sentimental on me, well with that answer I’ll give you a chance.”
She said as she stood back and gave off a more relaxed appearance.
“Chance, at what? Does this mean I won’t be punished anymore?-”
“Gonk”
Ms.Watanabes fist cut through the air without hesitation directly into the top of my head where the impact released a sound that echoed throughout my body.
“Ooooooww!”
“I said a chance, you gave me hell today so don’t expect me to let you off scot free just because of some sappy team leader spiel.”
I’m sappy?
“Listen up; we’re going to play a game. It will be a single round game and if you win then I’ll lessen the load to your punishment but if I win.”
At that moment I looked directly to the face of the devil, pure evil radiated from the pitch black exterior of a demonic beast standing before me. Glazing red pupils that project fear into the heart of any who dare stare back focused directly on me.
“If you win…?”,
I said with great fear.
My voice trembled barely being able to drag the words out of my throat.
“If I win then your punishment lasts over the course of the whole term.”

THE WHOLE TERM?!?!
There's no way I can take this deal is there, she could walk away with me as her own personal slave that signed up willingly. If I win I only get a slightly easier punishment, no matter how I look at it, it’s a lose-lose!
Well that makes this decision easier.
“As clearly fair as that challenge is I think I’ll have to pa-”
My eyes drifted to the sight of a scratcher card in the principal’s pocket. The sight of this lit up a bright sense of hope into my eyes and brain.
“Participate! I’ll have to participate!”
I believe this game is rigged to be unfair, but not in her favor.
A bright look of determinations filled my eyes; I clenched my fists with an anxious feeling running throughout my whole body.
“Fufufu, excellent choice you runt. You’re only showing how green you really are; don’t come crying to me after I make you my personal test dummy for the elites training practice!”
“Gulp”
I might have thought that it’s rigged in my favor but it’s still a fifty fifty on whether I win the game, I just got to keep it from being a chance at fate so that I can win the whole thing.
Now what’s it going to be…
“The game that decides your fate for the rest of the term is…
Rock paper scissors.”
“…”
She stood there with a straight face; completely serious to the fact of naming the most common decision making game in the world.
“Are you kidding me, rock paper scissors?!”
“You scared you’ll lose, don’t worry. You should be.”
Her devil aura reappeared and filled the entire room in no time at all, it felt as if I was being suffocated by an unimaginable force of evil. This must be the result of a job as the principal of Kenshi Highschool.
“Just remember your side of the deal.”
“Rock”
What could she be planning to throw, most probably rock because of how aggressive she is.
“Paper”
(The runt will definitely throw scissors due to his divine armour that cuts down the enemies in front of him; I have this in the bag and with it my own personal punching bag!)
“Scissors!”
My hand flew out from in front of my chest forward towards her, making the shape of paper.
“HEH!!!!!”,
Ms.Watanabe let out a wailing cry.
My hand showing paper was met by the opposing hand of rock, securing me the win in this one round challenge.
