As I walked the halls in a towel, it was chilly. I could feel the cool air blowing on every inch of my body, causing me to momentarily stop to rub my shoulders with my hands for warmth. It did not take me long to walk to my room, and once inside. I headed to the door that led to where my main bathing area was located. Using the other entrance in my bedroom, I walked onto the patio that oversaw the city below. I could hear as I turned the corner and approached the steps that led to the pool several voices. I stood there and listened to the noise of several people splashing in the water, and I could hear Locust talking to Claire or Aurora. I could not see her, but I knew she was talking to one of the ladies; as she spoke from the distance, I heard her as she went on to say,

“You got such a nice body. Let me get a feel.” Taken back, I was curious who she was talking to as I poked my head around the corner and saw Claire being groped by Locust as Aurora and our guest Mela the witch, watched with their heads barely above the water. I could see Mela spotted me, and I noticed her face go red, but she did not scream and instead kept it to herself. Phew.

Thankfully, as I then disappeared from her sight back around the corner, I thought. That was close, my goodness. I could feel my heart race beating like it's never beat before as the human nearly exposed me. I knew what Aurora would have done if she found me, but the others worried me. I did not want to be known as the pervy lord from Algia who spies on women bathing...

Just my luck now I am going to have to go back to the other wing.

Retracing my steps, I walked back to the guest bathroom, and to my surprise, Edgur and Vince were sitting there cleaning the area. Confused, I asked them, "Did you already finish?" To which they both responded ‘Yes’ Then Edgur said in a confident voice, “We got bored waiting for you, and well we decided to clean up the place your bathrooms a mess, my lord.”

Smiling, he then proceeded to run the water, and then Vince and Edgur left me alone to bathe. I was a little downed not having been able to take a bath with Aurora, though if she followed the plan correctly, none of that would have happened. The Human girl would not have caught me peeping, and I would have had fun splashing and making bubbles with Aurora in the main chamber.

I swear bad things always happen to good people. Thinking as I lowered my head into the water and washed my face. When I finished, I emptied the tub and walked to the main area. I could see everyone gathered around our guest, who was looking rather charming in her new outfit. You seriously could have mistaken Mela now for a vampire as she stood next to everyone, confused. It was cute.

When I approached them, Vince and Edgur walked over towards me and told me,” So no one knows anything about her being here. We made sure we are 100% in the clear.” Looking at the two, I replied, “Excellent, well, let’s get something to eat, shall we.”
