An alarm was something the group was expecting, however this alarm was so far off from the wall that it felt almost as if they have been watched the entire time. Lily stopped the group from flying backward with her chains catching them in place and setting them down. Taking a few moments to collect themselves the group checked for injuries only to be interrupted by a group of guards from the nearby Patrol came running towards them.

Fiona: Shit, this wasn’t in the plan.

Daniel: Screw the plan if those guards ring an alarm it wont just be those four coming at us it would be the entire keep!

Lily and Jacob both agreed with a nod, they looked onwards at the guards. Lily stepped in front of Fiona quickly as an arrow was blocked by her scythe. Setting herself up raising her hands in front of her.

Lily: Chain form four… Quadruple Chains…

As she spoke the ground starting to shake and the guards stopped suddenly only to be lifted up and sent flying into the air. Lily then slammed her palms down into the ground the massive chains swung down smashing the guards down into the ground turning them to dust. A few cries were heard but then silence. Turning around with a big grin Lily giggled wiping her hands and the group went off closer to the wall.

Coming now right up to the wall they made sure to look down at the dirt for any changes in the ground to avoid the aoe traps like the one they set off earlier.

Jacob: So when we get to the gate are we going in silently or the usual smash? There is only one way out so we wont be able to miss him.

Fiona: Smash in, Lily when we get there use a heavy chain to break apart the front gate okay?

Lily: okay.

Daniel: This is gonna be interesting.

Fiona: This will work, it always does.

With a smile on her face the group kept moving forward but as they got close to the front gate two guards stepped out in front of them stopping them in their tracks. They were clad in shinning green emerald colored armor, one armed with a shield and mace and the other with a bow. The four stopped and looked the soldiers up and down taking notes on the enemy in front of them.

Holt: Well, well, well. Carter was right Susan, they really are predictable as they come.

Susan: Ya, that orb really came in handy, luckily it was left behind for us to just pick up.

Fiona looked on in confusion, an orb? What orb? It didn’t matter these two sounded and looked like trouble.

Fiona: What do you two want?

Holt looked at susan and chuckled.

Holt: No… No.. see Carter sent us out to kill you four and whatever we find we keep.

Susan: Yep so why don’t you let your weapons down and come with us.

Jacob: Hell no but hey I was wanting for a good fight.

Holt aimed his mace at Jacob.

Holt: You… your mine.

Holt suddenly started swinging his mace around and walking towards Jacob. Jacob presented his fists to the Knight and walked closer to him. Susan pulled her bow out and took aim at the other three, her bow loaded with three arrows. The fight began. Susan launched her bow and the arrows were casted over Jacob and Holt towards the other three, Lily sent her third form of chain magic, wall of chains to deflect the arrows. Holt swung his mace around as Jacob bashed his fist into Holt who blocked it all with his shield.

Grunting the two giant men continue to pummel each other as lily Daniel and Fiona countered Susan. Daniel summoning an undead beast to battle while Fiona sent a firebolt towards Susan who side stepped the bolt, Lily darted towards the now armed Susan who fired another volley of arrows towards the little girl. Lily blocked the arrows as best as she could but some of them sliced into her rob cutting her skin. Fiona casted a thunderbolt in retaliation and it hit Susan dead in the chest sending her flying back.

Susan: Damn it!

Susan grunted grabbing her arrows shooting back at Fiona While the beast jumped in front of her taking the volley of arrows. Falling down to the ground vanishing to dust. While the three countered Jacob smashed into the shield with all his might but he didn’t see the mace side line into his side chest.

Jacob: Crap that hurt. Well time o step it up a bit. Enhanced Strength…

Jacob glew an orange aura as his strength increased .

Holt: Hah a little magic wont stop me take this!

Holt swung his mace down onto Jacob who blocked the attack with his bare knuckles surprising Holt who’s weapon was now in the hands of Jacob. Grabbing the mace now he threw Holt to the wall, leaving a dent into the wall. After getting back up Susan shot an arrow his way distracting Jacob while Holt shield bashed Jacob back a few feet.

Jacob: Fiona a little help here!

Fiona: Copy that! Fire bolt.

Fiona sent a firebolt towards Susan Who shot it out of the air.

Susan: That wont work twice bitch.

Taking a deep breath she closed her eyes and took aim.

Susan: Sharpshot…

Her arrow held true and shot out like a bullet of encased magic, shooting right threw Fiona’s shoulder. She screamed as she went down to the ground in pain. Jacob looked back and grew up in anger turning to Holt who was smiling like the devil. He didn’t know the weapon was encased in red aura for increased damage.

Holt: Like I said, you guys didn’t even stand a chance, hahaha! Take this!

He swung his mace towards Jacob who controlled his breathing aiming his fist he launched it forward while Holt slammed his mace down. *Smash* An impact was made but there was dust, the three from the group looked in hope while Susan readied her bow to shoot. The dust settled and the one who made the impact was Jacob his fist held up Holt who had his weapons and shield on the ground. Susan looked on in horror as her partner was now impaled by his fist.

Jacob: Take… this….

He dropped holt to the ground as Susan shot an arrow in fear of her life the arrow missed and she fell to the ground in fear as Jacob walked closer to the girl he raised his fist and swung down. Susan blocked her face but the fist slammed down into the ground right by her head.

Susan: Wha… what? Why?

Jacob: You didn’t piss me off, and well you looked terrified after what I did to your partner. So why don’t you take a nap now…

Jacob sent a bit of magic to her head knocking her out with an illusion spell of memory sleep. Susan and Holt Defeated now the group walked to the gate, she healed herself with her knowledge of healing magic, but as they got to the front gate, it opened up in front of them. As they walked in cautiously the place seemed empty but no less they stood ready to defend themselves. Lily took point and looked around the court yard. The giant long path to the torrent Mountains, which was a place of many memories from the story books.

Fiona: Wow. This place looks exactly as I thought it would.

She walked further to examine the ground and noticed the boulder missing a chunk on the side of the boulder.

Fiona: Guys guys! Look this is were Mordred shot her power at kali and the group.

She was entranced by all the stuff she read about, the marks and singes of the battle that happened long long ago. The group caught up after a minute the noticed the giant hole in the wall which lead into the mountain. It was massive and seemed ominous. After examining the entrance the group moved into the entrance of the mountain.

Lily: Dark… Scary.. wet..

Fiona: Yep it sure is, well to you guys at least my vision makes this place as bright as day.

Daniel: Yeah lucky you…

As they walked inside they noticed the giant dead golem and broken statue of Lasandra in the middle of the cavern. Fiona practically died from all this imagery. Her heros walked through here and fought like champions. She poked the golem picking up pieces of the beast and studying them carefully. Daniel took note of all the skeletons around them.

Daniel: Don’t all these bones seem kind of I don’t know… ominous?

Lily: yeah… I don’t like this.

Jacob: It doesn’t matter we got to keep moving. Fiona come on lets go find this general and take him down.

Fiona: Oh alright… Lets go.

They made their way to the hidden village in the mountain where a small stair case erected and basically invited them up the stairs. Finally making their way up the stairs a large doorway stood in front of them. Lily know how to make an entrance she summoned a large chain smashing the wooden door to bits. The door caved in and the group was face to face with four armored soldiers with cylinder type shields and short swords. Clad in light green armor. And the man himself General Carter. Who turned around from the magic orb which was the main source of his recon.

General Carter: Well, well well if it isn’t the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I have been… expecting you four ever since you all left the castle.

The group readied themselves for battle as the four knights took a defensive stance.

Jacob: This is gonna be fun.
