“Darkness, nothing but Darkness, I feel hot to the touch though, I wonder if this is the effect of Mal? Putting someone into a dreamlike state? No, no impossible I would have woken up by now, so why am I still asleep?” A light shining bright engulfed the darkness as Kali was woken up by a familiar voice. “Ma’am, ma’am please wake up, of lord I hope im not too late.” “W…wisp?” “Good Morning Ma’am I thought you would never wake up after what happened.” “Wait why are you here?” “What do you mean did I do something wrong?” “No, it’s just, its just.” “Just what?” “How are you alive? I saw you die right in front of me.”
“I died? That’s a funny joke Ma’am.” “No it’s not a joke I swear you sacrificed yourself to save me so why are you here?” “Here? Where exactly is here?” Kali looked around the room but it was darkness again, suddenly an apparition appeared. “Ah you meant this didn’t you?” The screen showed the battle at Haggler when Wisp sacrificed herself to save Kali. “W….why are you playing this.” “I don’t really know, but it seems to have a bad effect on you so that’s good.” “Good?” “Yeah, how did it feel to make your friend die for you just to end up dying in the end? I bet it felt good didn’t it Ma’am.” Kali feel to her knees in shock holding her hands to her head. “Awe come on this isn’t even the worst part. But you still let me die.” “You… you choose to save me, you could have let me die but you didn’t!”
“I choose to die? You went crazy and set yourself up to fail and die, you forced me to take that death with you.” Wisp floated towards Kali’s ear, “I chose for you to rejoin me, why don’t we be a happy family again? Just take this tool and join me no join us.” Wisp handed Kali a tool which when used on someone it kills them on spot. “Why… why would I do that?” She asked in a shocked state. “Why not? I mean wouldn’t that be best for you? For me?” Wisp floated around clasping her hands together waiting for her response. Kali looked down at the object, a hand with four claws attached. She held it in her hands and noticed one of the claws seemed out of place. She started to tug on the object which grabbed the attention of Wisp. “WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING! YOUR RUINING OUR CHANCES TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN!”
“I’m doing this to free myself from my guilt! The real Wisp let herself go, she wouldn’t want me to die!” “EVEN SO, YOU…you would see me go away for ever? Never to see me again?” “I will miss you for as long as I live, but I need to move on… I’m… I’m sorry we couldn’t do more together.” Kali pulled on the first claw “KALI NO DON’T DO IT!” “I’m sorry.” The claw ripped off the hand and Wisp vanished into nothingness.

“Kali? Kali wake up. I know we just saw what had really happened with Wisp but there is no need to fear that right? You can get your revenge later. First we must get Bastal from my Mentor’s body okay?” Kali looked around, she found herself in the ruins of Bakatta again but something was different this time. “Um… Alex… have I been here before?” “What heavens no this is the first time we have all been here together. You feel asleep on the cart ride here.” “Cart…Ride?” She turned around to see a horse drawn carriage.
“But…but we took a portal here I swear.” “A portal? There are no portals that lead here you must have had a bad dream that’s all. Come on lets go.” Kali closed her eyes only to open them to Mordred fighting Alex again. “Why can’t I move?” “Kali you got knocked out by that magic, Mordred encased us in rock. All we can do is watch.” Ziro said as the three looked on. To kali’s memory the fight was going the same as before until the final moments in which Mordred was about to use her final power to defeat Alex. “Don’t try it Mordred, you can’t win this time.” “Right right, but oh wait whats this?” Mordred took out a blue glowing bottle and crushed it in her hands. “A mana potion?!” “Yes that allows me to do this! MANA BURST!” Mordred shot out a blast of magic into Alex stunning him briefly for Mordred to unleash Measma.
“Med kraften hos min herre og forfædre skal jeg smelte dig væk, Me…ASMA!” The beam shot out of her sword and struck Alex bare in the chest knocking his sword and himself down to the ground. “DIE!” Mordred leaped into the air with a piercing blow she stabbed Alex in the heart, ripping it out in the process. “Hah, hehe that was easier then expected Hey, hey Kali! Lokky what I found. Hehe its his heart. Looks like I got it before you could. But eh I don’t want it and don’t need you around so.” Mordred reeled her sword back and prepared to use Measma again before the beam hit Kali she plucked another of the Claws off the hand making the whol scene around her vanish.
“Why’d you kill her? And my friends? Was it because we couldn’t be trusted anymore? Was it because you were afraid of what would happen were she allowed to be free? Tell me why did you do it then?” Kali took a step back and noticed Ziro holding Zero’s body on a bench. Looking around she noticed she was in the Elantra castle. “What did I do?” “YOU DAMN WELL KNOW WHAT YOU DID! You sent us down there to die! After years of loyalty and sacrifices this, this of all things was the way to let us go?” “I … I didn’t do this.” “Yes of course you didn’t but you sent us down there into that tomb. I was the only one who made it. THE ONLY ONE! How can I live without my beloved Zero? I’D RATHER JUST DIE ALONG WITH HER!” Ziro ran to a window still holding Zero’s bloody corpse. “Ziro don’t!” “Funny, those, where the exact words Z, said to me before she got killed. And that’s the first time you used my name. To hell with you my Queen.” Ziro jumped out of the window frame falling to the ground with a large thud. Kali ran out to the window.

Seeing where they landed she ran outside to them a group of citizens surrounded the bodies. Kali rushed through the crowd and saw the two bodies. It seemed as if Ziro survived the fall just a little to hold Zero’s hand. Kali fell to her knees holding her hands to her face to cover the tears flowing down. “I, did… didn’t send you down….there…I swear…. I wouldn’t have. But this is all just a dream it isn’t real!? Is it?” Kali took the hand out which had two claws left. She ripped the third claw off making the whole scene vanish.
“You really are stubborn you know that Kali… I gave you everything you could have wished for, yet you still denied me. Why have you forsaken me?” “Who is this, what have you done to me!” “Me… having done something to you? Why I would never, ever, do anything to someone who killed my husband.” “I didn’t kill anyone’s lover, I would never do such a thing!” The voice seemed enraged by what she said. “YOU KILLED MINE! HE WAS GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD AND YOU SLAUGHTERED HIM!” Kali thought for a moment to think of an answer. “Who was your husband then?” “Gan.” “What?” “Veksis Gan. The Dark lord. You slaughtered him in cold blood!” “He was the definition of Evil incarnate why would I have let him live?!” “So we could be still together. Like your family.” “Wisp, Alex, Zerp, Ziro. Yes I know of them. However even after I killed Wisp through my own means, you still killed my children making me suffer even more!” “Mordred was your daughter?” “She was my child, that I saved from death. I can offer the same to you Champion. Give up your pathetic broken heart path and join me!”
“I can never. Join an evil, such as you!” “Then so be it, I shall make you submit to my will!” The voice formed in front of Kali, as Lasandra. “GIVE YOUR LIFE UP DO IT NOW!” “NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!” Kali ripped the fourth and final claw from the hand. She woke up….
“Is this real?... It feels real, yet.. I can’t be sure.” Kali reached for something to grab and grabbed something that felt like fur. “Um…. Excuse, but would you refrain from touching my ears.” “Oh I’m sorry.” “It’s alright we are just happy to see you awake finally. Your friends are waiting for you outside.” “Oh.. okay, how long was I out for?” “Four weeks Lady Kali.” She walked to the door like nothing happened. “hmm my regeneration kicked in again that’s good.” As she opened the door Zero pounced ono Kali crying with tears of joy. “”Kali!” Zero knocked her over onto the floor in excitement. “IT’S BEEN FOREVER!” “It’s only been a few weeks Z, would you mind getting off her.” “Oh right I still can’t get that urge out of me.” Zero let her go and ran back over to the other two. “Kali how are you feeling?” Alex said from a distance. Getting up she responded sarcastically “Like a million gold pieces. I had the strangest dreams while I was in that coma.” “oh do tell, why don’t you tell us what happened when we get back to the castle.” “Okay.”
The group headed back to the castle, and was meet by Gabriel and Surgeous who were standing at the castle door entrance. “Um… did something happen while I was out? Those two look mad as ever?” “No not really, hehe…” “Yep definitely agreeing with Z.” “Alex?” “Not to my knowledge. Why don’t we ask them then huh?” “Yeah that would be best .” The group headed towards the two displeased knight commanders. “H-hey Surgy whats up?” “Zero you know what you did along side with Ziro.” Surgeous said in a stern voice, Kali looked over at the two who were nervously avoiding eye contact and laughing out of fear.
“Gabriel, Surgeous, it’s been too long, would you be kind enough to tell me and Kali what has happened that is making you both look upset?” Gabriel stepped forward seeming calmer then Surgeous, simply saying. “Follow.” He started to walk off to the door that lead to the groups quarter rooms. Entering the corridor Gabriel led the group to Kali’s room. “Open the door.” Zero and Ziro both took a few steps backwards. “Okay, whats behind door number one!” Kali opened the door to reveal not one, not two, but three divine beings. Myra, Vyra, and Entwine, Myra was holding with what appeared to be a creature. Kali slammed the door, looked at the two girls took a deep breath, and opened the door.
“Ah, my child, my champion, our hero, welcome home, we have so much to talk to you about.”
