The group went into the guild house and split up in the house. Ziro went to the food and drink vendor with Zero to get the groups adventure supplies. Wisp and Kali went to the quest giver, the woman behind the desk looked up from her papers to see the two and instantly shot up grabbing kali’s hands and shaking them in thanks. Kali shocked from this took the hand shake and stepped back a little. Surprised she took a few breaths and calmly sat back down to resume her duties. “How can I help you today champion?” “Ah yes, we are looking for a quest that we can test our new gear on is there anything that we can go for? Maybe like a clearing mission or a hunting mission?”

“Well I am sorry to say that we don’t have anymore missions like those left for the week, we do have..” She stopped suddenly as a tall man cladded in armor held his hand out. “Hold on a minute I took the last clear mission, but I see that you are looking for one am I correct, Champion?” The armored man looked at Kali who had to look up to the man’s covered face and nodded in silence. “What does my armor make me look not trustworthy? Here let me ask you again.” The armored man took off his helmet and showed his face, he was pale skinned with a slightly bearded face with short fuzzy brown hair. He asked again. “Did you want this mission?” Kali reluctantly replied again with a head nod, “Yes we would, we were going to test our new gear.”

“Ah a gear check, I see you have gotten new shiny gear from when I last saw you.” The Man held out his hand with the quest and kali went to grab it. “Ah but one condition.” “What?” “I’ll be accompanying your group with this quest, I want to see this legend of a group in action.” Kali being the kind hearted person she is took him up on the offer and took the quest. The three now went over to the two Elates getting their supplies. The two girls looked at the man and then at kali and Wisp who shrugged and explained the situation. After the explanation Zero went to get more food and drinks.

The group left the house and went off to the location of the clear mission on the way the man explained his situation to Kali. “Yes I know this is so sudden kali but thank you for letting me along, heh, well I only choose this quest to get a grip on the feel of this type of mission. For my name, well you can just call me Alex.” “And you can just call me Kali then none of this Champion stuff. Got it?” “Yes, yes I got it all understood.” “Now where does this quest lead us too?” Kali questioned as she looked at the map, Alex looked over and pointed at her map to a small mountain like shape. “Right there.” Kali looked to where he was pointing on the map. The name above the shape was named The Torrent Mountains. “Hmm we haven’t been there before right Wisp?” She asked. “No not yet. I wonder why it’s called The Torrent Mountains.” Wisp wondered. “Guyysssss how much longer!” Zero cried out in a bored tone to the three. “About half a day or so Z. I keep telling you that, if you keep asking you think we will get there faster?” “Yes Ziro.” “Wrong.” Ziro rubbed the top of Zero’s head teasing her like a child.

The group made a stop to eat and rest nearby a small forest clearing. The elates set up the spot while wisp was on lookout. Kali and Alex stood aside and talked some more about their classes and abilities. “So your deemed as a holy priest, so what you can like regenerate your life force without mana?” “Yes I can also now cast master levels of healing magic as well as holy magic. Here let me show you.” Kali pulled out her hand and used a holy spell to summon a small bounded sword made of pure light. “Woah that’s pretty unique, I’ve yet to see someone use holy magic in the wild.” Kali vanished the weapon and turned to Alex, “Now you’re turn what is your specialty?” Alex got up and walked away from kali to the open field.

“Well I have a few abilities, some of them are a bit more unrealistic so let me get this over with.” Kali nodded her head, Alex took a deep breath and shouted into the sky raising his hand up. “I CALL UPON YOU BASTEL!” A wooden staff spawned into his hand, he lowered the staff and stood it into the ground in a formal stance. The wind seemed to flow around him as he stabbed the staff into the ground. Zero and Ziro looked over and saw Alex in his stance and walked over to him in curiosity.

“Well little ones would you also like to see how my abilities work?” The girls nodded and where issued to prepare for a mock battle against Him. “So you guys think you can best me? Come and test your might against me.”
