Adala turned around. A cloaked figure stepped out from a conveniently shadowed place into the light. Wearing full black robes with a cape and mask, he looked menacing.

“And you would be?” asked Adala, calmly, when inside she was one thread away from unraveling. The masked figure tilted his head to face her.

“You wouldn’t dare question The Suzerainty,” he said in a deep demanding voice.

“Oh sh*t,” said one of the Super TroopersTM, censoring himself since he wasn’t sure if this is PG or PG-13.

“You will attack the cloaked figure,” ordered Adala. The Super TroopersTM raised their guns. The figure put his hand up.

“You will do no such thing,” he said. The Super TroopersTM looked around and shrugged.

“What do we do?” asked one of the Super TroopersTM.

“I dunno,” said the other Super TrooperTM in his best Ron Weasley imitation.

“Attack!” ordered Adala, pointing at cloak guy. The Super TroopersTM ran towards him as he shot them backwards with a force push. The Super TroopersTM hit their heads on the top of the doorway and passed out. Adala drew her lightsaber.

“You never answered my question,” she growled, slicing at him. He pulled out a red lightsaber right before it would have hit him in the chest.

“Get off my ship,” he said angrily, forcing her backwards.

“Never! My OTP will not fall to the likes of you!” Adala shrieked.

“..... What,” the man replied, confused. Adala used this as an opportunity to strike. With his confusion, she jedi flipped over to face him from behind. She stabbed at him like a fencing sword, but somehow he always seemed to be one step ahead of her. The man counterstroke her with three swipes and a force push, sending her to the ground.

“The name’s Darth Burai. Don’t you forget it,” he said, moving in for the kill. Adala’s face was lit with fear.

“Karis,” yelled Adala, looking at her padawan, recovering from being force-frozen for so long. Karis watched as Adala, in a helpless floor position was about to be killed by the Sith.

“Help,” whispered Adala as she fought back with her remaining strength. Karis looked her straight in the eyes.

“I see the roles are reversed,” she said, before turning away from her. Adala looked Darth Burai, her lightsaber holding back his from her neck. She screamed as it burned away at the skin. Not having much of a choice, Adala summoned all she could and brought her knees to her chest and kicked him in the face, sending his mask flying off and his nose into a bloody mess. She flailed her lightsaber to push him back, and sliced his hand off from the wrist. Taken aback, he stumbled and landed on his bottom, touching his nose to his remaining hand. Adala rushed over with her lightsaber and put it up to his neck, while her foot trapped his chest on the ground.

“The name’s Adala Sati. Fear me,” she said, holding her lightsaber steady. As she looked him in the eyes, she saw fear in the purest form. His eyes were glossed with knowing the fate of his life lay in whether she would slice his head off his neck. Adala paused. This wasn’t the jedi thing to do. She was a jedi knight. Jedi weren’t supposed to kill without a cause. Yes, he attacked her and put her in danger, but she had clearly bested him.

“Do it,” said Karis, glaring at her. Adala looked at Karis.

“He kidnapped me. That’s an offense,” said Karis, moving next to him. Adala stared at Darth Burai. She sensed a strange feeling from him, a warm glow emanating from underneath his frozen exterior. She couldn’t bring herself to kill him.

“If you’re not going to do it, I will,” said Karis, turning her lightsaber on. Adala felt adrenaline pumping through her.

“No!” she yelled as she struck Karis’ lightsaber with her own. Hatred filled Karis’ eyes.

“I’m beginning to wonder where your loyalties lie,” she growled, pushing off Adala’s saber with her own. “I’ve improved since the last incident.”

“Karis, please,” pleaded Adala, avoiding going offensively on Karis. Sometimes history wasn’t worth repeating.

“He’s a Sith, Master. A SITH!” Karis yelled, tears streaming from her face. Adala clenched her jaw as she realized Karis was gaining her power from using the Dark Side.

“I’m sorry, Karis,” she said, with a tear falling off her cheek. Karis’ face went blank as she stared down at her chest.

“So it happened again,” she said, full of hatred before she more or less collapsed. Adala removed her lightsaber from Karis. She scooped her off the ground and began to sprint away from Darth Burai, who was lying in an agonizing heap on the floor. She made way for the meet point, not looking down, for Karis was staring up at her with an expression of malcontent.
