“This is our specialty my King” Cathy said that as she handed me the roasted beef. “Do not put ‘my’ with it” I replied. “Y-yes…..King” “Much better”

The reason why Cathy’s calling King is because I do not have a proper name. I am born to be a Great Demon King so that’s why everyone calls me Great Demon King, it’s silly but my father named me Great Demon King because he felt that I am destined to have this name. He’s not wrong though.

I sliced the beef with the knife. “Hhmm this meat is tender isn’t?” “Hehehehe. This is our pride after all!”

After I finished my meal, I decided to ask more question to Cathy like why do you think that heroes started to appear one after another? And what happened to the first 7 heroes. Cathy said that the reason heroes started to appear like a mushroom is because other Empire and Kingdom learns how to summoned Heroes.

The First 7 Heroes or the Holy 7 are not summoned by humans. They were summoned by the Goddess, that is why they have such unique powers. The next one, as to what happened to the Holy 7 is they disappeared, They are summoned by the Goddess so they surely have a good heart unlike those summoned by humans, they can easily corrupted by power and desire.

Cathy said that she’s willing to shelter me but I refuse, I still have the pride of a King, “I will take care of myself” I said. “I will take care of everything King! Even your sexual desire!” She replied while blushing.

I do not know the reason behind this action but this is futile, when you reach a certain power you will have to exchange something in yourself to get it. In my case I gave away my abilities to love and yes it also included my libido, my father choose those for me so I cannot go against his will.

But thanks to that I gained more power and abilities that still fascinate me until this day.

For now I need to think a way for me to earn money, I considered to be a adventurer but as much as possible I do not want to fight to earn money, even though I am the Demon King I do not get the pleasure to fight with other.

So my plan is. “Please take me to the Baron” I commanded the guard to take me to his master. Heroes have their different kind of power. Justice, temperance and such. In the same manner I also wield this power but the ones that I have is the opposite, I have all of the 7 deadly sin. This time I use the power of lust for its specialty is the heart of the creatures.

The powers that Lust have is to control creatures and even see through lies. I was taken to a huge double door that decorated by fancy things.

*Knock Knock* “Who is it?” The Baron ask. “There’s someone important that request to speak with you my lord” The guard reply.

“Wait a moment……….. It’s fine now, enter” The guard open the door and then leave.

“May I know the name of the name Sir?” The Baron asked me. “Ahh, forgive my rudeness. My Name is….. King…. I am here to speak with the Baron.

“King?... That’s quite a strange name? May I know the purpose of your visit?” He ask me with a smile on his face.

The Baron is a male on his prime, he has a white hair and a clean beard. “You see” As I said that I activated the Lust.

“I wonder if there is a job that let me earns money at the same time let me explore different places?” I ask

“Yes….. If King wants it he can be a merchant and of course I will support King with all I can” He answered.

“Good. Just make me a merchant license and give me a few gold and things to sell, that will do it” “If that is what you want majesty then I will fulfill it” After that I leave the place.

The Baron said that it will normally take two days to complete the transaction but because I am important, the license will complete at noon so for now I will spend my time idling and observing the park.

When I arrived at the park the crowd is making a fuss. “Wow! It’s the heroes of the Highland Kingdom!” Woah… The mage looks so cute!” “Alex the shadow fiend looks so mysterious”

Those are the lads that I defeated on the other day isn’t? Well there is no way they are going to find me though. “Um… Excuse me?” One of the Heroes, the mage approached me. “What is it?”

I look at her and there… Even though it is not visible, she’s definitely using some verifying magic towards me.

“Did we meet before?” “Hmm? You might not remember but we certainly met. It is in the celebration party that the empire held but I guess you cannot afford to remember this lowly merchant” I smile at her.

“Ah! N-no you don’t have to make that face! I-I didn’t mean to make you feel bad” She said while panicking.

Hahaha…. I am just lying, but I know the fact that heroes have to attend a thousand party that the nobles held so by using that fact, I can lie without being caught “Oh… there is no need to feel bad young Hero. I know that you are too busy fighting evil to remember any lower noble or merchant” “Uumm…”

My cheer looks like it had a reverse effect. “Yo! Myuki Whom you talking to? “Ah Julius-san I’m just chatting with…. Eto……” She looks at me and asking for a name. “King” I said. “I am just talking with King-san” I look at her and wondering on why she said it with san. “Oh! It’s just a thing from my country, I want to get rid of it but……..” She said

“Then what are you guys talking about?” Julius said. Julius is the name of the knight that seems to be their leader. She asked Myuki, although it is not noticeable but his eyes have a glint of jealousy in it.

Hhmm…. Although I decided to throw my abilities to love and lust but that does not mean that I do not feel happy or something like that.

As a demon, I naturally enjoy the negative emotion of humans. Especially the jealousy of this man is emitting. “Aahh Miss Myuki is just accompanying this lonely old man” Both of them looks at me with confusion but one of them have hostility on it.

“Old? But to me King-san is the same age as us” “Really? Hahaha you are quite a flirt despite your appearance” as I say that Myuki turned into red due to my words.

“Wh-What! Myuki is not a loose woman! S-she’s kind and gentle!” The knight said. “Hold it right there mister Fiance, I was only messing around” After that I gave him a playful look. Now this time he is the red one.

“Owah! The Princess and the White knight are both bashful!” Another Hero comes towards us. This time it is the beserker of the group and it looks like she is the most experience one as well.

“Who’s this man?” The beserker asked. “Ah.. I am called King it is my pleasure to meet you Miss Hero”

“Kakakaka! There’s no need to be formal young man!” “Wrong…. Even though I have this appearance I around 30 years you know?” ““EEEEHHH!!!””

Most likely that the people around us are attentively listening too as they react to my statement. The reason on why I say that I am around 30 is to avoid the circumstances that people will treat me as a kid. I really do not like the feeling of treating me as a brat so I decided to say that I am old. Well it is not like being old while having a youthful appearance is unique or something.

This world have a different kind of magic and one of them is to stay youthful while growing old.

“What’s this” The last of them follows the group and ask us. The assassin walk towards us. “AAh! Alex! Look at these two! Both of them are acting funny huh?” The beserker said towards the Assassin.

“Hmph, both of them are lovey dovey as always.” The Assassin, Alex replied. “Hahahaha!”

“But both of them are nothing compared to you lovers” The moment I said that the atmosphere froze. The beserker seems nervous and the Assassin is fidgeting with his feet.

“Lo..vers?” The Knight said. “Eh….. EEH!!!” The mage seems surprised. Well that is to be expected it is only little but both have the same aura, meaning they are someone who is really close with one another.

“NO!!” The beserker shouted while covering her face. “Tch! Dammit Raina! Don’t make it so obvious!” The Assassin is arriving at his wits end too. Well enough with this. “Thank you for the moment but I must take my leave now” I said that while all of them are having their quality time.

Although King himself is not aware of this but after that incident, King was called ‘The one who single handedly defeat the Heroes or Highland Hero slayer’
