《Agalma》Chapter 11

not this again, i had a hunch that those words would haunt me for a while.
When i gazed upon my surroundings i was in a completely black room that i reckoned expanded infinitely in all directions, it looked that way anyway. How could i see myself if the room was pitch black? don't ask me. Directly in front of me looked like some sort of small female child, wait no it was a little boy either way its body was completely white lacking eyes and a mouth. It still had hair but that was white too. Even without facial features i could tell it had it's view centered on me.
...was this god? no wait it couldn't be. Though it really felt like it , and unlike everyone else up until this point she/he seemed perfectly content to wait for my answer.
"Ehh not in particular" i said trying to choose my words carefully.
The stories about deities where mixed up so no one knew what was true, some people say it was a omnipotent omniscient, and omnipresent god, the next group saying they were flawed none mentioning it was a little kid. If there's one thing I've learned is to not assume anything so lets go as if it doesn't know my thoughts because it asked me a question but do gods lie. Sigh here we go again
It looked at me while not looking at me ,then started circling me like a shark would its target. An uneasy sensation was at the back of my feet but floating in mid space i couldn't go anywhere. I probably should say something.
"Uhh are you god" -Farron
Without missing a beat it said "Yes, one of them" -Janus
"... how do i know you're not lying" -Farron
" you can't " -Janus

Well seems honest enough, now that the initial craziness of the situation was swallowed my mind became hyperactive again. Why would a god visit me in my sleep?
"What was your purpose for visiting me?" At first it was slightly loud but it got lower and more respectful toward the end when i remembered who i was talking to. Luckily this was the most non narcissistic being I've met so far, only because it hasn't been insulting or degrading me just yet.
"I'm looking for a champion, all of the gods have a few scattered throughout the Cosmo's. I am the most juvenile god in recent creation so i only have 300 so far"- Janus
300 wow that seemed like a lot until i recalled they were scatter through out space
"Can i assume that you've been watching me recently... and why would a god even need followers" -Farron
"Since you've been born I've had my eye on you, and to answer your other question we don't" -Janus
Yikes , lets just avoid the awkward subjects
"Is it right to think you had me in consideration" - Farron
"Yes and no... Im not in the planning phase you have already been chosen" -Janus
"I Can tell you require reasoning, you're the type who wants to know everything huh, its because you can adapt to your situation and no more" - Janus
Was that it, so much for feeling special
"cant anyone do that though" -Farron
"Not as well as you, adaption is a key faucet of change which I preside dominion over. Think about how easily you accepted your families death, joining who you believed to have killed them, even Gwendolyn you went from hating her to sleeping in her room, you accept and move on rather quickly "
I couldn't even go a few minutes without hearing that name, but i couldn't argue with that either.

"You are the human equivalent of change ,so come my champion receive your bestowal" - Janus
I was getting powers, sweet. To what magnitude i wondered.
"what type of bestowal's do you mean"-Farron
my excitement could clearly be heard in my speech
"This is the part the gets my disciples most feverish , each power we give is specific to the individual so in a minute chance you meet another follower don't expect the same thing" -Janus
"I can only tell you the basic's of your abilities though as even i do not know what they will form into"-Janus
"Enjoy increased mental capacities far, calm in, and the power to overcome and adapt. you should be far superior in these aspects then your peers" -Janus
I'm sure to another person what she gave me sounded less then ordinary but I knew better. Strength wasn't everything and i wasn't much of a fighter to begin with this suited me perfectly.
My body began floating towards the pure white mass Until we were face to face. Stretching out her arm he began pointing her finger through my right eye. Unexpectedly his fingers went all the way through to his elbows then whole arm. The pain was non existent though so I endured the strange feeling. All i really knew was that things were going to change for the better, it was about time.
"Thank you" was the last thing I said

Data Dragon Danika
After a great deal of preparation, Danika begins her new digital dragon's life in a very small way. They say the "Living Jade Empire" creates individualized quests. They say it can read your mind. They say you can find your heart's desire. They say that there's never been a game like it, and they're right but… they're also wrong. The game is a data mine, built to retell the old tales that humans have been telling each other since language was invented. It doesn't read your mind, but it reads your search history, your favorites, and your blogs. The "Living Jade Empire" is literally crafted from fables, legends, fantasies, and maybe just a bit of stardust. But in the end, will the game be able to figure out what Danika wants most? Will the desires of other players take priority? Or, will playing it change her, until she desires what it can give her? A journey is always made up of many small steps, and this game has still only just begun.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
