《Agalma》chapter 7

.....
With just me and Gwendolyn in the room it was silent. I didn't feel like i could suddenly start ordering her around .Really i felt like i survived by the skin of my teeth. I was sleepy but my mind was still on high alert , i was probably safe whatever that meant. Just yesterday and even part of today she was trying to kill me and telling me how trash i was , if i slept around her she could just end up killing me and say it was a accident or something. I didn't have any trust in anyone here epically Gwendolyn. The truth was I'm still at their mercy... but it didn't hurt to try to lessen hostilities' didn't really understand why he let me live but i planned to go through with my promise. I would need to start writing, drawing and documenting everything i saw and thought in order to understand why things were the way they were. I had to be brave and level headed in order to survive since i kind of assumed they were taking me to a zyanite base on this planet. I needed help and the person forced to help me was Gwendolyn, i wanted to laugh at the thought of it but now i at least had proxy control.
"Gwendolyn" i said watching her whole body perked up looking at me as if i was the devil himself
"It doesn't matter what you do to me ill never give in" She stated matter of factly
What she thought i wanted to do with her i had no idea, i hated her deeply and one day i wanted to make her suffer but ... it goes against everything i was taught and learned. Question after question continued to pop up into my head like how do these robots even feel emotions, is it the same we do, how old is there race, not to mention all the questions about humanity that i had. I know that humans only live a few hundred years my life spans was limited and i was given a second chance. Maybe there really was a god, i cant even believe i said i hated him/her it maybe i did, ... whatever... I think i made up my mind with all my years or however much time i had left i wanted to learn as much as i could about this world. I mean whos really at fault in this world, i want to blame the Zyanites with all my might but something tells me that line of logic is flawed. I needed a tablet of some sort , no i would have to go old school and write on books this way i could be sure that they wouldn't be able to tamper with it. Luckily for me i know the standard human language of my region along with the the language of my clan and since I'm the sole survivor no one else knows. Lucky in a dark sense i suppose.

"Gwendolyn bring me the biggest book you can find on this ship all the pages need to be empty, along with a pen , oh and some water "
"What makes you think you're my boss maggot?"
"the prince" i replied without any emotion
gritting her teeth she wordlessly walked out of the room, and i was finally alone. Looking out of the massive glass window encompassing almost all the room i just stared through it. It seemed like only a few hours had passed leaving about 40ish hours of night left. The sky was still just as peaceful and serene as before this , like nothing here or anywhere could affect it. Looking at the 5th of our 8 moons Seraphina a small smile rose across my face. I am just a piece of a larger puzzle beyond my control, but at least i got explore more of the world, maybe even distance ones. I had regrets but i also had a future and for that i was thankful for. I looked into the stars for about 30 minutes but it felt more like 3 until someone tapped me on the shoulder. I jolted a little but refused to shake more and turned around silently, it was Gwendolyn .Shoving a gigantic book onto my chest it had to weigh at least 20 pounds, with what look liked thousands of pages, along with a pen.
"The water?" i asked
"you're lucky the prince has another pet ,if not we wouldn't carry this garbage liquid" she replied
she extended her other hand almost spilling some of it
"can you be careful, why do you even hate me anyway i did absolutely nothing to you"-farron
"i hate human filth, you're a god damn baby ,do you want me to feed it to you like a baby would too? -Gwendolyn

"yes" i said sarcastically
"... i hate you" That being said she picked me up effortlessly and put me into baby position and began tilting the cup into my mouth as if it were a bottle"
well this isnt really what i wanted to happen but i didn't want any water to spill on already stained cloths or the book which was heavy enough. So i just drank the water. The door opened again and the princess was the first to bear witness to the scene along with the prince and two guards.

Riftwalker
Legend speaks that a roaring force of insatiable abyss lies beneath the peaceful overworld. Named the Rift after its chasm-like entrances, this unexplored void has consumed the underneath for eons. What had seemed just a myth crawled out of unreality in the form of eldritch creatures. Reborn as something not entirely human, mankind rejected the boy. Thrown into the Rift by people who feared him, he had to live in a world run by monsters as a newborn. Surviving, however, wasn't his only difficulty as he soon had to decide whether he would save the people who banished him or simply idle as the Rift engulfed all life. As of chapter 9, Riftwalker is on a very small hiatus. I'm very busy with work atm :( Here are a couple of things to expect: Lots of action and exploration! Diverse and refreshing creatures; There are good and evil. Satisfying progression and coming of age. The protagonist stands out but isn't overpowered. There are some litRPG elements, but it's not a determinant factor. The fights are decided through one's combat skill and experience and not stat-checking. Oh, and some other info: There is a bit of gore, but nothing disturbing. Occasionally, there will be images of the scenery and landscape. Chapters will be around 1,5k to 2k words long, and the releases will probably be relatively slow, sorry.
8 112[Archive] Legend of the Nameless Hero
A WhiteSamurai original Web Novel There are always the mysterious tales of heroes, those who fight against the Demons, who fight for justice and those who head mighty quests against tyranny. Heroes that are born to destiny, Heroes that are forged through tragedy, and Heroes that are brought to the world in times of great peril and strife. Not all true Heroes are wanted or beloved, but all life understands, that throughout all time and space, for those who truly stand as Heroes, they never need to be called one. The sands of time are the only true judge for those who journey upon the true path, the only one they will ever need. This is the tale, no, the Legend, the Legend of the one who throughout all time, would forever be, the First Hero. This is Their story, a story of true hardship, of a sorrow greater than any other that would stand as a symbol of inspiration no matter the test of time. A tale of darkness, a true curse, an impending evil hidden beyond the horizons that threatened the very future of existence. This is the tale, of one of the few great figures, who, in the face of true evil, continued to stand. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :Disclaimer: _______________________________________________________________ . . . All Chapters are subject to sudden revision, scrapping, or complete removal from the canonical storyline. The author of "Legend of the Nameless Hero" uses RoyalRoad as a method of experimentation with genre's and writing styles for Fantasy-style works for the sake of eventual publication. The end result isn't to release perfect chapters on RoyalRoadl, but eventually develop the story as intended using the best material to produce the highest quality work. The best mentality when reading works from WhiteSamurai is to see it as the ability to read and review pre-release transcripts or "Rough Copies" before publication. Viewer discretion and maturity are both requested and required. . . . _______________________________________________________________ :About: _______________________________________________________________ . . . This story follows direct character point of views along with an intentional third person narrative to explain to the readers what the characters won't. (I don't use my characters to go give extensive explanations for every last thing like EVERYTHING DOES) This tale shall encompass the life of the Hero from the moment she is summoned into the Kingdom of Kremor, to the Legendary Final Clash. This isn't your run of the mill hack and slash raise an army and conquer, I don't follow that bandwagon. Real life holds politics, intrigue, economics, structure, populations, civil opinions, history, psychology, heart, suffering, wonder, advancement, curiosity, ambition, and so many more things that would lead to me hitting some character limit. I refuse to take the same route that others use by simply ignoring these factors, my worlds, my stories, are as real as they get. There's no plot armor here, if someone screws up, they've screwed up and there's no magical sword in a well for them. I write in 'Seasons' not 'Books' as many often do, these are generally, not always, hundreds of chapters long, though as I have yet to finish a season, the average length is in the air. I go by an ideal of what I call 'Universal Lore' which includes the policy that things that exist within the story don't follow the rule where the Protagonist needs to be there so that it will happen. There will be some things that will happen, and the hero, and sometimes the reader, won't know happened until they enter a place, or news gets to them. A person needs to be in the right place at the right time, I hate plot holes and meta characters above all else... For my works, comments are practically demanded as reactions, thoughts, and various viewpoints are like sweet fuel to my writing spirit. Reviews are highly accepted and appreciated, BUT ONLY IF THEY ARE EDUCATED AND THOROUGHLY EXPLAINED. Those that throw down a low rating ARE HIGHLY REQUESTED to extensively detail and explain their viewpoints on the work. They should also be willing to come back to the work at a later date if messaged by the Author, Me, due to issues they mentioned being taken care of. I'm never against scrapping a chapter or rewriting several paragraphs if there are character or story discrepancies. I want the highest quality work possible, and every comment, every review, are tools for me to use to further that goal. . . . Enjoy the work. ~White Status: (Ongoing)
