《A Destructive Incarnation》Chapter 9 : Allen knows magic.

Magic, that is one of the most important aspects of worlds like this. It would be actually pretty weird if the world has a system but not any magic. Even if it’s not on a major scale. Magic should definitely exist in a fantasy world.
There are different types of magic which exist in different types of the worlds. There are worlds with different kind of magic existing in the same worlds. They are usually split into three different names mage-craft, wizardry and sorcery. And nobody is sure about what is what.
There are people who use mana to control their own body and their surroundings. There are people who use rituals and ceremonies to gain control over the world. There are people who lend strength from spirits and other creatures, instead of using their own magic. There are also people who lend the power of their own planet or even the power of their universe to fight each other. And the one I find most interesting the one in which you start a specific motion which causes a butterfly effect causing unnatural phenomena, which is usually triggered by voice.
All of them can be said as a type of magic. But by what name they are known differs on different worlds. In some worlds one is considered superior over the others. But I feel like all of the other than the one in which you lend strength from others have pretty much the same effect. The only thing which matters is who is more proficient in using it.
This world mostly uses the butterfly effect caused by voice type of magic. It is the easiest of all the above magics. You don’t need anything like mana or that kind of bullshit. You can almost use it indefinitely, only in theory though. The actual bad thing about this type of magic is that, you can’t really control how this magic works. You can only limit its power or slightly alter it course using powers like chi or mana. Even that slight change costs a lot of energy.
The hobgoblin boss who was killed by Allen could only control the [Bang Balls] the size of a tennis ball. If he tried to control the one size of a volley ball, then he would lose a huge amount of chi. And in this world the amount of chi you have is equal to your amount of SP or Stamina. The more SP you consume the more tired you will be.
Normally to use this magic you will have to study and train your body for years before you could use this type of magic. The more you know about this type of magic the stronger you are. And the more time you spend chanting a spell the stronger and harder to control it becomes. Sometimes a slight mistake in the practice of this magic might cost you everything. For example, if you activate a time freeze magic on the world and If you are not able to contain it properly, you will have to wander inside the frozen time forever.

This world is quite a bit different from other worlds. It is because of the system. In this world all magic are assisted by the system skills called [Magic Manipulation] and [Spell Book]. The higher the level of [Magic Manipulation] the better and more cost efficient your spells will be.
All of the spells you know will be stored in [Spell Book].And when you need to use a magic, just select it from the [Spell Book].You will know inside your head all the spell you know if you can use HIID. And you just have to shout the spell name to activate it. All the chanting will be done by the system. Chanting time is almost close to zero because system is much faster than humans. You should be able to also activate it, even without the help from the system. Although I don’t think there is anyone idiot enough to actually do it in a battle.
Almost all the humans who can use HIID end up being as a really respected mages in human society. The reason being them able to use magic faster compared to other people. In fact, to get the two of the highest job class in most of the worlds, Paladins or Dark Knights you need to be able to use HIID as a necessity along with a few other necessary skills. Basically, people with HIID are considered gifted in this world.
Well anyways Allen has learned his first spell right now. Will he be continuing in the path of a warrior like he is always? Or will he change into the path a mage.
“THAT’S FUCKING EXPENSIVE.”
Shit! I forgot to stop time this time around. It seems like Allen is checking out the store right now.
You don’t have to scream Allen.
It seems like he wants to buy a sword. I am pretty darn sure that Allen has never learned any swordsmanship. It seems like he wants to have a change of pace or something.
“Why the fuck are all these swords so costly? Even the cheapest one is way above my league right now. I thought I would be able to afford at least a cool sword after I sell all the junk I had on my inventory. I guess the junk truly is junk.”
“What about some consumables, like potions and stuff like that?”
The screen changes. All the swords disappear and the screen is now showing a few potions.
“What the fuck? Even potions are expensive as fuck.”
You shouldn’t swear so much Allen.
He becomes like this each and every time he sees something overpriced. Should I have made the potions cheaper? No, If I did that people would think that healers are useless. Maybe they would have treated them like trash and just use them however they like. And maybe one of the healers would have somehow go back in time to get revenge on the people who treated him bad. And become like a super OP healer with instant death magic and stuff. If I remember correctly then, there is a Light Novel with a similar plot, Right?

Yeah, that’s not gonna happen in this world though.Almost everybody knows how important healers are in this world.
Oh by the way,Allen used to play as a healer main in most of the games he played, before he got fed up with it.I just thought that I would tell you this because we were talking about healers.I mean, a healer main ending up as a terrorist.Isn't that ironic? Not really? Whatever...
“I have 329370 credits. These Greater HP Potions cost 100000 credits one each. And the only heal 60% of HP. And there is HP potions which Heal 10% of the HP and they cost 10000 credits. And there is also Lesser HP potions they only cost 200 but they heal 2% of HP. All the status curing potions are also around the same price as the lesser HP potion. Also, I can’t even afford the Perfect HP potion which can heal all status ailments and gain all the HP.”
“No matter how you look at it buying a lot of cheaper ones are much more price effective. But I guess It will be much harder to use these cheaper ones in battles. Do I buy a lot of these lesser ones or do I buy 3 of the Greater ones?”
“I have almost always chosen quantity over quality. So, I guess I will buy a lot of the lesser potions and status cures and 1 greater potion.”
That’s a bad decision, Allen.
Allen is probably gonna get a bad stomach if he drinks all that potion at once. It is a good thing that Allen got a [Portable Home] from one of the goblins as a drop item. It has a toilet which connects to a void dimension. At least he will not have to run around the dungeon to find a safe place to shit.
Well, he could have bought it from the store as well. Only that it costs as much as a Greater HP Potion. Thankfully I made it an unsellable item. Or else I am sure Allen would have sold it already.
“At least I managed to get a few spells for pretty decent rate from the store. But still I really want to get the one called [Time Freeze].5600000 credits are gonna take some time to get. But I swear I am gonna get it.”
Oh, it seems like Allen has gotten a few spells from the store in the time I was explaining magic to you. I guess I will have to get a sneak peek of his spell book.

LOL …I forgot I put it in there. Of course, I made sure it is the strongest magic in this world. Well the time and space related stuff are an exception though.
It’s probably because of the influence of the creator. Why is it that most of the memories I share with the creator is mostly ridiculous stuff? Like his memories about anime. And other useless stuff like mount Everest being the highest mountain peak in his world. I don’t know what king of man he is. I don’t even know if he is a man. Don’t you guys want to know the personality of the god who created you? I do.
But there are somethings which I want to know what the creator doesn’t even know. Like, is it really just a coincidence that both the Voice Actors of the two explosion loli share the same first name? Hmm. . .
