It never occurred to Mu Ziyou that one day she would have been degraded from Li Qiaosheng’s wife to a servant in his house!

She wouldn’t have felt the great difference mentally if the servant's way of life had been imposed on her from the very first day. But the fact is that she is still Mrs. Li in title, yet living with the maid, Lan, and doing the same as, even more work than she does.

At the same time, Xia Wanyan seems to have become the new Mrs. Li, who would speak for Mu Ziyou with hypocrisy when Li Qiaosheng is present. Yet when he is not at home and nobody is around, she would order her around, even humiliate her by all means mercilessly.

Mu Ziyou puts up with all these and says nothing, just for the sake of her unborn baby.

Though she succeeds in keeping her pregnancy a secret from Li Qiaosheng and Xia Wanyan, she fails to hide it from Bai Yun.

Mu Ziyou is cleaning Bai Yun’s room when Qin Yang calls over.

Seeing that Li Qiaosheng's mother comfortably enjoys the sunshine with her narrowing eyes on the balcony, Mu Ziyou doesn't put herself on guard. She just walks up to a corner and picks up the phone in a subdued voice, “Qin Yang, Qiaosheng refuses to divorce. But don't worry. The baby is fine. I will never let anything happen to him.”

“I see. If you insist on divorcing him, I can try to help with that. Youyou, take good care of yourself, OK? As for your mom, I will keep an eye on her."

“Well, let's talk about that some other time. Thank you, Qin Yang. I’ve got to go, bye." Mu Ziyou doesn't dare to chat long on the phone with piles of chores waiting for her to do.

However, when she puts her phone back in the pocket and turns around back to cleaning, Bai Yun is standing right in front of her like a ghost. She then asks thoughtfully, “Are you pregnant again?" She seems to be talking to herself, “No! You’ve never had the abortion to remove it at all!”

Li Qiaosheng is not at home, but Xia Wanyan is right in the next room. Mu Ziyou rushes forward to cover her mouth, fearing that her rising volume would draw others' attention. She begs in a whisper, “No, no. Please believe me, Mrs. Li, this is Qiaosheng's baby and your biological grandson!"

“No, it is my husband's blood! I won't let it come to this world. I swear I will definitely not let it get any fortune of our Li’s family, never!!! You little bitch, slut—" Bai Yun can't hate Mu Ziyou more for she believes firmly that her husband Li Wenkang had affairs with Mu Ziyou, their daughter-in-law. After pushing her hard to the ground, Bai Yun begins to scan every corner of the room.

Mu Ziyou's belly bumps on the corner of the nightstand when she falls down. Immediately a fit of pain overwhelms her. Her failure to get up quickly wins the other party plenty of time.

When she finally rises to her feet with her hands covering her lower abdomen and is about to rush out of the room, Bai Yun comes to stand in her way with a pair of shiny scissors. She walks towards Mu with a grim smile on her lips. "A bastard's child could be nothing but a bastard. Haha... As long as I am still breathing, I won’t allow it to live!!! Now that you want to protect it with your life, then go to hell together!!!”

With these words, the scissors go straight down to Mu's belly. To defend herself, Mu has to remove one hand from her belly to stop the scissors. Fortunately, she catches that fist with scissors.

Mu Ziyou just intends to get the scissors out of her hand. While Bai Yun, though sick, seems to have gained enormous strength from somewhere and just won’t let them go...

Xia Wanyan suddenly bursts into the room. Catching them wrestling with the scissors, she immediately lets out some loud and unceasing screams. Both Mu and Bai are terribly startled. Mu takes the lead to stop and takes a few steps back while Bai, who is not prepared for it, loses her balance and falls forward.

Mu steps aside subconsciously for the fear that she would still hurt her unborn baby. Unexpectedly, Bai Yun falls down with the scissors grasped tightly in her hand. And she never gets up again!

“Oh, my god! Help! Someone is killed here!" Xia Wanyan sees a stream of blood slowly coming out from underneath Bai Yun's body. She turns pale with fright. The idea to step up and get Bai up just stops in her mind in less than a second. She freezes her ongoing foot and turns to point at Mu Ziyou, who's still stunned at what has just happened, “It’s you, Mu Ziyou, you killed her. You killed Auntie Bai!!!"
