《The Boss System》Sorting Things Out PT-3

The next morning as soon as the sun began to rise Jason woke up and slowly walked out of the room. There he found the man unlocking the door of the Inn.
"Hey Jason, you sure woke up early today."
He nodded and lifted the empty sacks that he had in his hand. "I left some fruits hidden yesterday and I'm going to go and pick them up."
"Oh right the Sky Fruits that you gave Ron were delicious, thank you."
Jason shook his head and began walking out, "don't mention it. Just leave the bucket of water outside the door, I'll use it to wash my armor later."
"You got it, make sure that you stay safe kid."
Once he was away from the Inn he sat down on a large stone and began reading the book that talked about the continent.
'So this continent is called Minast and it's one of the 9 continents, it has 16 different kingdoms and based on Eric's memories I'm part of the Silvi Kingdom which is fairly new and one of the weakest out of the 16. Ouch, the weakest out of the 16! It's a miracle that it hasn't been invaded by the surrounding Kingdoms. White Fang City is the third-largest city of the Silvi Kingdom...blah...blah...blah.'
After some more reading, he closed the book and filled two of the sacks when no one was looking. When he was about to enter the Inn he filled the last sack and left them in the lobby after giving another 4 fruits to Ron.
When he opened the door he found the two brothers still sleeping. He kicked them awake and while they changed and ate a fruit, he cleaned his armor and then secretly put it back into his storage. Tristan and Jack were still not trustworthy so he hated to think about them stealing the item that costed him the most.
The three of them took the fruits to the guild and handed it to a receptionist, "Well that's 78 fruits in total making it a total of 7 silvers and 8 copper. Here you go, is there anything else that I can do for you?"

He shook his head and thanked her before turning around and finding the two brothers looking at him with mouths open.
'Oh boy, I should have thought about this better. Now I have to make sure to sleep with one eye open.'
"Close those mouths of yours, trust me getting that fruit is not easy at all, that's why it pays well. I had to battle a whole bunch of beasts to get these this morning. This amount of money is nowhere near our goal, I want us to be able to collect tons of gold coins otherwise it'll be easy for us to go back to the slums. Remember money doesn't last long, that's the reason we have to make a ton of it."
He didn't wait to see their reaction and went straight to the Request Board, after some looking he managed to find a good one. "This one says that they want someone to apply stucco to a house. They are willing to pay 5 silvers for it. I don't really know how to do the job but I'm pretty sure we can figure it out. It says here that they have all the tools so there shouldn't be much of a problem. Where are the herb collecting requests though? Did people already take them?"
Jason returned to the receptionist and got the request assigned to him. Along with the three brothers he made his way back to the outskirts of the city and after some searching, they found the house they were looking for.
The house wasn't all that big, it was made out of exposed mud bricks and wood from its French Tudor style. They knocked on the door and not much time passed before and old man opened the door and smiled.
"Hello, young ones how can I help?"
"Um, we accepted the job from the adventurers guild that said that we have to do a stucco job."
The old man nodded and looked at the three of them, "Aren't the three of you a little young?"

Jason smiled and began to stretch, "Bills don't care about age, if we want to keep ourselves fed then we need to make money. Anyway, don't worry we will work as hard as we can and do this right. The poster says that you have the equipment to do the job, can we see it?"
The man nodded and went back inside, he then came back out dragging out 2 large blocks of what looked like clay.
"What are you two looking at let's help him?"
Together they pulled out a large rectangular bucket, 5 big blocks of clay, a large rectangular trowel, and a tall ladder.
"Umm sir I know how this is going to sound but do you know exactly what we have to do?"
The man laughed and nodded, "Use this knife to cut up the block about this size, then put about this much water and mix it together till you get a paste….. Hmm yeah, that's the consistency that you want. Now pour it over the mudbrick and in between the wood decorations and even it out with the trowel."
Jason and the other two followed his instructions to the letter, "It's easier than I thought, Thanks a lot sir, and sorry for accepting the job without knowing how to actually do it.
The old man smiled and shook his head, "haha don't worry, you have to learn somehow and I like the guts you three have at such a young age. I would have done it myself but with my age, a year could pass and I still wouldn't finish. Then those blood-sucking contractors trying to charge me 3 gold for something so simple. If I was young I would have given them a piece of my mind."
Jason had Tristian mix the stucco, Jack placed the paste on the mudbricks and finally, he was in charge of evening out the paste-like substance. He couldn't let those three endanger his reputation by rushing the job and doing it wrong after all.
After working for two days they finally finished the job. The old man had to point out a few areas that were not plastered correctly but fortunately, there weren't many.
When they finished the job the man handed them a letter that they brought back to the guild and got paid.
He led the group to the public baths and they had a nice soak, due to their budget Jason decided that they would go to the baths every 3 days, it was undesirable but he couldn't afford to spend 9 copper every day for keeping clean. He would never be able to save up that way.
When the group returned Jason brought out 6 copper and handed 3 copper to each of them.
"You two worked well these past two days, I know that this doesn't look like much compared to what we earned but you have to keep in mind 2 things. One is that together the both of you just got 6 copper which let's be honest it's probably the most you've had in a good while. The second is that I'm taking care of your food and home which starts adding up with the two of you. In the future when I trust you more and we start getting more money you will earn more."
The two seemed to understand but Jason stayed vigilant that night to make sure that they didn't try killing him in his sleep. Fortunately, they didn't but they sure snored loudly.

Re: Level 100 Farmer
When Li’s level 100 game character is transported to a fantasy world, he realizes he is unstoppable. But…all he wants to do is be a farmer? Watch as Li tries to maintain his peaceful daily life in a chaotic world full of magic and knights.===Foreword===Slow Pace: This novel does have a slow pace with things building up piece by piece over time. However, this also means that the further you read, the more connections will begin linking up and the more the story will start building up.OP MC: The MC in this novel is extremely powerful from the very beginning. If this appeals to you, then check this novel out.Crafting/Farming Warning: This is a warning to say that if you are looking for a novel that focuses entirely on a crafting system or farming, then I have to say that this novel does eventually move on from the whole farming premise, getting much larger in scope overall.===Doever Writing Quality Guarantee===I can give a solid guarantee that the writing quality of this novel is of the highest tier on this website. Even though I would like to go through many of the initial chapters for a proofread, I still believe the writing quality is top notch for this website. There will be very few mistakes, and the few that do slip by me will not affect readability at all. Now, you may not agree with how the novel develops, but I can at the least guarantee that you will have no trouble actually reading what happensOf course, I am not perfect, so please feel free to point out mistakes and problems and I will be more than happy to fix them! But most importantly, whether you have criticisms or enjoy the book, thanks for reading!

But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.
