《Small Pond》Chapter 6: Back to Normal

I was preparing to go to my teepee, but I remember that I had Faust with me. I didn't really feel like dealing with his questions anymore, but I couldn't bring myself to abandon him now.
Faust was in shock, looking around the tribe, seeing all of the houses and people. He then looked back at me. I quickly turned away and retreated to my teepee. I simply didn't have the energy to deal with him now.
As soon as I entered, I sunk onto the floor and slept faster than Faust could think of a question.
When I woke up the following day I was greeted by the scorching hot sun, so I did my usual routine. Yesterday was quite the adventure, and I was already feeling some excitement thinking about all of the things I could learn from Faust.
I froze. I forgot about Faust. He was probably fine. Or at least that's what I told myself. Either way, I ended up looking for Faust, ruining my schedule already.
I didn't have to look far to find him.
With one glance on the outside of my teepee, I saw my reflection on someone's bald head.
[Faust]: "So, did you sleep well? Cause I sure did."
His sarcasm was quite literally manifesting in the air as he spoke. Either he really wanted me to feel bad, or he was doing this unconsciously. Either way, he achieved his goal.
[Ahote]: "Sorry about that."
I wasn't sorry at all.
[Ahote]: "So what's your plan? You don't seem like you'll be able to do much here."
That was an understatement. I don't think that Faust could realistically do anything in this tribe. Unless he came up with some brilliant plan or scheme, I couldn't imagine him fitting into any role.

[Faust]: "Music. That's probably my only chance at doing anything. I spent most of the night looking at the instruments you guys have, and most of it is just drums and percussion. So I'll probably have to make my own."
Hey everyone, after taking a read at my own work, I feel like the pacing is really off and doesn't have a good enough of a hook. I'll still finish my first planned arc, but I want to take more time to make sure that I can actually write a good novel.
If worst comes to worst and I feel like my novel is horrible, I'll rewrite a good portion, if not all, of this light novel.
Apologies for not writing much in the chapter, but I don't have many readers so I should be ok xd

Zombies
This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.

The Eye in the Sky
People have always thought that the undead would come from hell - that they would rise from their graves to bring their torments upon the earth. They never thought that they would come from the heavens instead and rain upon the world like divine judgment. Ten years had passed since that day. Evan had thought that he had seen all there is to see. What remained of civilized society couldn't recover. Millions of zombies wandered in every city, and thousands more roam the countryside. Every day was a struggle to survive just as it had always been. He, as well as most of the survivors that remained on earth, had resigned themselves to a life of wandering until their deaths. Their last hope was news of an underground settlement being constructed to the far west, outside the eyes of the wandering and falling undead. But then they encounter a girl who had survived in the middle of a heavily-infested city. She claims that she knows of a way to end the apocalypse once and for all. What should he and his group do?

The Circus Ruckus! || Popee X Reader!
Have you ever been to a circus nothing like any other? A circus filled with non-stop surprises which you might find weird or random. You haven't? Good to know! Well dear Reader, it's your lucky day. Hold on tight, cause who knows this circus might cause your demise haha... seriously no kidding.(( DISCONTINUED ))[edit] - this book is discontinued. Sorry about that folks, I'm really sad to have this project marked as complete despite the description saying otherwise lol. Although it's pretty cringe, this is one of the first books I made and it genuinely makes me proud. Story Started// April 18 2020Story Ended// June 6 2020===[AUTHOR'S NOTE]=== Hi! This is my first PopeeXReader book haha, in fact this is my first XReader book! I'm really sorry if you find this book unsatisfactory and about the grammar errors lol. But please do enjoy! I really am sorry if I didn't got to update, but I'll try my best to proceed on to the stories by updating as much and as soon as possible! Also, I do not own the characters featured in this book nor is the show itself. They rightfully belong to Ryuji Masuda and his wife Wawako Masuda. I just really love their projects, I can't bear to not make my own fanfic revolving around these funny people despite my horrible writing skills lmao!
