Yue Jin, If Rin had a word to describe her, it would be lively

From the first day that Rin started her monotonous work in the laundry, she has always been by her side with her outgoing personality, brightening her day.

At first, Rin distrusted her, a product of her previous betrayals, but it was inevitable to gain confidence, that by spending so much time together and without any proof.

And with this confidence came the information that both of them learned from each other as the days passed.

Yue Jin was born into a nomadic tribe of beastly wolves, but it happened, that while traveling the country, they were assaulted by slavers, resulting in the death of her parents, and the enslavement of her and her older sister.

In that short period, both sisters were sold, in different places, with the palace being Yue's final destination.

Rin, knowing this, reasoned that by becoming a slave after living a good life, it could be the cause of her optimism, but this was only a guess, and she did not care much, she only cared about living as well as possible in this prison. and that her partner is cheerful was not bad for her.

Rin's experience in the palace was not bad, without counting the mistreatment of humans towards her, she had enough food to avoid hunger, the work although tedious was acceptable, she had a good partner, there were no physical abuses, and best of all, a hope.

This particular hope was provided from her companion within three days of beginning her duty beginning with these words.

"Listen, listen, Rin, I suppose because you are new and you are a beast that I think they have not told you, but here you receive a monthly salary, with which you can buy, among other things, your freedom."

At these words, Rin opened her eyes in surprise and then expelled this word.

Rin in response nodded her head.

"Of course you think so, who doesn't want to be free, well, maybe some of these crazy servant, who seek to be something of the prince, but that is something that is almost impossible for them, and even more so for us" Yue explained, then took a breath and said "well, well, that aside, what would you do if you were free?"

This question, for Rin, was something very important and imprecise for her, at first she wanted to go home, but this was soon crossed out by reasoning that there was nothing good in there.

After that, she felt love and wanted to start a family with someone she loved, but this was destroyed as a result of betrayal.

From here on, she stopped thinking about it, only wishing for little pleasures like food, or a good home, and for this Rin hesitated for a while before answering.

"I don't know, living without masters and with food."

This sudden proposal took Rin by surprise, but thinking about it a bit, she who was lost in what to do did not think it was a bad idea so she agreed with a nod.

That's great, but we have to do it seriously," Yue commented happily, then extended her closed fist with only the pinky extended towards Rin, and then told her, "This is a pinky promise, it's very important, it means umm..., I don't know, but it's very important, come take my finger with your little finger."

On the other hand, Rin, a little surprised by this unusual proposal, without giving any importance to this, took her partner's finger, to wait for her response.
