"Eh? it's true?" Rin asked confused at this statement.
"Yes, it's true, now follow me, let me guide you to your new room, to introduce you."
The head servant said dryly and then leave the room unceremoniously, following her as she passed, poor Rin who still had some doubts for herself, which she expressed while they were walking.
"Why did I get promoted?"
"I don't know, and it's not my business," the head servant answered honestly, appeasing young Rin's curiosity a bit, bringing with this a bit of silence.
But this silence did not last that long, since the head servant while walking, as if releasing a bit of a regret that she was keeping, sighed, and commented to Rin.
"I don't like you, but like others like you who have been promoted, I can't help but tell you this: the back section, although it gives you more prestige and opportunities, is more dangerous." And without waiting for an answer from Rin, the head servant continued walking, remembering the different responses that the innocent young lady gave them when they heard her words.
Although most of all, she remembered the cruel fate suffered by some servants, who wanted to reach the stars.
And on the part of Rin, upon hearing this, to the consolation of the head servant, she could take into account her warning, it hurts that he could not thank her, for fear of a reply, she could only answer her with a submissive silence.
But this silence did not last forever, as they soon arrived at their destination, a bedroom just like the one that was before, but with the slight difference is that now, the servant, their new companions were dressed in blue.
"She is your new partner, it goes without saying that they treat her fairly and teach her how the customs are here, anyway, for now, she will work sweeping the backyard, that's all."

And having said those words just like the previous time, the head servant left the place just like that, leaving the young Rin once again at the mercy of her new companions.
Like in her previous status, her companions, none gave her more difficulties, than her rejection due to the rules, but, this time, Rin felt that this time, she felt a greater hatred from them.
But even with this, her life continued, which did not change greatly, it was just another courtyard to sweep with a different uniform.
If you can name a few changes, it's the most common presence of the masters, the master's eldest son being the first to appear in front of her while she was working.
"Hello, how are you?" Said the young master appearing out of nowhere, surprising the young Rin.
"I'm fine, thanks for your concern, this servant doesn't deserve it," Rin thanked him taking the etiquette a bit into account.
"I'm glad, by the way, that you think the fair treatment I have achieved with you and with that servant I expelled."
Hearing this, Rin in her mind began to connect everything that happened, with what she said reaching a surprising conclusion, so much that it left her dry for a few moments, but then confirmed this with the young master.
"Young Master, you ..."
"Yes it was me, I fixed everything, take it as you want, but here everyone receives the same treatment, and it seemed fair, to get rid of a plague and promote a great worker like you."
"I ... Thank you very much, this humble servant does not deserve such favor."
"Quiet, as I told you I only apply justice, well I have to go, I have lessons."
And with that farewell, the young master once again planted the young Rin lost in her thoughts, as well as, without Rin being aware of this, it was that the young master had cultivated in her heart a dangerous and bittersweet seed.

The Traveler
Reincarnated with no information other than a single mysterious message, little Damian must survive as an infant in a world of might and magic. He’d better not get caught possessing his memories, or he might spend a thousand years suffering. Being a baby in another world is weird, disorientating, scary, disgusting, and also heartwarming. It doesn’t just happen for no reason, but the “why?” might be a harder puzzle to solve than conquering the whole entire realm. Both of those eventualities were very remote possibilities for an unusually smart baby. He was more concerned with making it to his first birthday without being damned by the gods or eaten by dangerous monster.

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.

Liana in between Worlds
17 year old Liana is not as surprised as most people would be when she meets Inaya, coming from another world searching for a mysterious danger that could be disastrous for both worlds. She's always seen things others could not see, and she often finds it easier to befriend strange creatures from dreamworlds than her classmates. But now she's involved in a possible plot to eradicate our whole species, which makes her travel through a dead alien city and the oak wood of the Nummerfa who believe that our species are dangerous demons from hell, and other places in several different worlds. All she actually wanted was read her Tolkien book, or sit and watch the stars without being bothered by the existential problems of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. And how is she going to even explain her absence at school? 'Liana in Between Words' is a weird genre-defying mix of portal fantasy and scifi in a tale of friendship, loneliness, and the role of humans in the multiverse. This one contains absolutely no romance and no serious trigger warnings for sex, excessive violence, bad words or heavily traumatising content if you can handle the idea that there are people somewhere who think -maybe not completely without reason- that our species are destructive demons that should be eradicated.
