《Hunger for affection》Act I - Homes | False

As if it were a deja vu, she was guided through the house, until she reached a shared room located at some end of the house, once there they found that the room was being occupied by chance by two young maids.
"Girls listen," said the middle-aged woman, taking the attention of the servants, and then continue "This girl, for now, will be working with you specifically in the central garden, so I'm counting on you to teach her the rules of the house.
But while the middle-aged woman, was giving instructions, Rin by her side, listening to her only thought that she was reliving her first moments in the house where she was, but, contrary to her expectations, or at least a part, the lady who apparently was going to be her boss ended up saying.
"And also, please do something with her tail and hair, that at least she looks like a human, the image of our masters would look bad if any guest saw her; well that's all, I'll leave them, I'm going to find her a uniform.
And when the head servant finished speaking, she left the room, leaving Rin with the two servants, one of which came out to her and spoke to her.
"Greetings little beast, I'm Tao Ming and she is Fi Huang, we will be your superiors, let me make it clear to you once and for all that we do not like you, so do not expect anything from us, just what is necessary."
"In this residence, we are all treated the same, but be clear that this does not mean, that our eyes will be less careful of you, else the opposite."
"Now this house is ruled, Mr. Song, his wife, and his three princes; it is unnecessary to warn you that they are your gods."
"The house is essentially divided into the front and back section, we are servants of the front section so we are prohibited from the back section, be clear about that."

“The front section is the center of the house's operations if you want to see it that way and the back section the family residence.
"In this house, the new maids are accompanied for a while by a companion, while they teach them their duties, in this case, I imagine that to our misfortune, some of us will be your nanny, how horrible."
"Now, according to Madam Lin who was the one who brought you, which by the way is called Gi lin, we have to do something with your hair and tail, umm let me see," Tao said approaching her to check it.
During this, she became aware of Rin's attempt to shave her ear which she found amusing.
"It was horrible" She laughs "worthy of a tactless beast, but at least you know what suits you..."
And next to her Fi also made fun of her a bit, making Rin feel bad who, as she knew her position in this world, could only hold her tears and laments, until madam Lin arrived, who only came to throw her a simple maid uniform and ask the two maids about her hair, who replied that her tail could hide it under her skirt and that her hair could be painted, but that it would cost some money, which Madam Li did not find pleasant but she ends up accepting.
From here, Rin's life in the mansion had begun, at first, she was a bit lost but thanks to her experience in the previous residence, she was able to adapt quickly to her work.
Regarding her appearance, as planned, a few days later, Madam Li brought the dye with which, they painted Rin's hair black, but with the detail that the cost of the dye fell on her salary, which as House rule, all maids should receive a salary, something that in the previous house, she had been denied.

About her hair, like the dye, her salary was deducted in the purchase of basic hairdressing utensils such as combs and scissors, which she used with the help of her 'companions', to make her ears hairless and try to straighten her hair without apparent results.
Days and months passed in Rin's new residence, and little by little she realized the meaning that they are all treated the same, it turns out that the master believes in equality and justice, so no one dares to take advantage of her. Directly as it happened previously, but as her companion Tao had said, being who she is, there were always eyes watching waiting for her to make a mistake to use it against her, something that sometimes happened to her bad luck.
But despite this, Rin did not get depressed, since compared to the old residence, the treatment here was better, and even, over the years, to the sight of strangers or new employees, she was confused as a human, but always her truth came to light.
And so, it happened once again, on any given day, Rin now in her pre-teen, was cleaning the central courtyard, a task of which, she maintained over the years, was slightly interrupted, when a ball hit lightly. with his leg.
[And this?] Rin thought about this event, and then when she saw the direction the ball had traveled, she noticed a small infant, with elegant attire, raising her small hands towards her asking for her ball.
[A boy? Ah, he must be the new young master, but what is he doing here?" Well, I just have to do the right thing "Rin said to herself, then stooping to pick up the ball and pass it to the infant.
But it happened, that before touching the ball, an annoying voice burst her ears, stopping it instantly.
"Hold there beast, don't you dare touch something of the young master with your dirty hands."
Then, moments after hearing the voice, she got up to see that the owner of the voice was a young maid from the back section, identified by her blue uniform, unlike Rin who carried a yellow symbol of her position as a servant of the front section.
This maid, when Rin saw her, she was hurrying towards her.
"I ... I'm sorry ..." Rin was apologizing when that maid came in front of her and interrupted her and gave her a strong slap.
"You better be sorry, filthy beast in human clothes, know your place."
And after these words, the maid picked up the ball and gave it back to the young master and then left with him holding his hand, and saying loud enough for Rin to hear.
"Listen, young master, don't go near her, she may seem like a human, but in reality, she is a dirty beast full of diseases and lice..."
And Rin for her part, after the maid was away, after caressing her cheek a bit, she continued her work with relative calm.
But, after a while, she slowed her pace as silent tears fell from her eyes.
[Why does everyone hate me? Why was I born like this? What wrong did I do to deserve this?] Rin said in silence and solitude, wondering, and lamenting her situation, falling more and more into a dark abyss without compassion.
Although, this darkness would not last long, since did a soft and quality voice bring light to her darkness.
"Are you okay? Why are you crying?"
