Alice asked the butlers to take Alex away, while she carried her sister. She wanted to inspect just what kind of damage had led to her sister's sudden collapse.

"Where am I?"

Zira woke up inside her room. When she looked around, she saw that Alice was sitting beside her bed. She was inspecting her abdomen with great curiosity.

"Did I really lose to him?"

She hadn't used any technique that could exhaust her to this extent, and the last thing she remembered was trying To pick Alex up to carry him back to the mansion.

"Yes, you did. Although you are way stronger than him, his mind works in a very peculiar way. He was able to immobilize you by attacking you on your nerves, which sent your body into damage control mode."

Zira frowned. She knew what Alice was implying, and she didn't want to believe her sister. Such instincts are almost unheard of in kids that lack any sort of experience.

"Don't worry, it wasn't anything serious. You will heal in 2 or 3 days. Before that, I want to ask you something. Why did you drop your guard at the last moment?"

"I saw him punch my leg. All of a sudden, I started feeling pain in my abdomen. I don't understand how he was able to do it, but he got me good."

She tried to get up but felt extreme weakness in her legs.

"I guess I shouldn't have underestimated him. Next time, I am going to pay him back with interest."

Alice rolled her eyes at her younger sibling.

"You did pay him back though. Straight at his jaw, and pretty cruelly. I don't think he will be able to get up for at least a 2-3 days."

The gloomy look on her face vanished, and it was replaced with a bright smile.

"Let's leave it at that. Get some rest. We will talk about this later."

Alice left Zira's room. She had to check up on Alex, seeing that he was in a worse condition than her sister. She needed to nurse him back to full strength as soon as possible and begin their official assassin training.

"Is something the matter?"

When she heard that voice, at first she felt like she was hallucinating. There was no way that he would be able to talk properly for at least a few days. His face was supposed to be swollen, as it was when he had been brought back from the Training ground. There was still a bruise on his face, but it had healed by a lot.

"Your wounds have healed?" She asked.

"They haven't. I was barely able to walk without tripping after every 2 steps."

Still not completely convinced, she wanted to inspect his mouth close to see how he had healed so fast. Did he take some sort of medicine?

"Stop looking at me like that."

"You know what happened to me back in the Main family, right?"

Alice nodded again. She had already gone through everything available about him.

"I have been a pretty sheltered kid my entire life. I was slow at learning new things and was not too great in the practical application of skills taught by our family. So I started working hard to improve my comprehension skill, but Father had already given up on me because he had lost all hope in me."

Alice was listening attentively. All of this wasn't news to her.

"When I was given that punishment, I kept training. I tried to hurt myself, break myself, whatever I could do to get myself out of there."

"Halfway through, I noticed something. Because I had been pampered my entire life, I hadn't really been injured severely before. I noticed that my wounds heal at rapid speeds, and It was best described as inhuman. Because I healed faster, I finally got something special, that only belonged to me.

Hence, I started training like a maniac, not caring if I was getting injured or not. My Autophobia had a big role to play in this because if I couldn't run away, I would rather just become strong enough to get out. As time progressed, I felt my concentration improve, and I was more aware of my surroundings.

After improving so much, I felt as if there was no need to expose myself. I need to surprise them, show that even I had the ability to improve, given the chance. Even though people might think that it is a bit hypocritical now that I have some special trait, but still, it shows you not to count someone out too early."

He paused and looked at Alice. He couldn't discern too much about her current expression, but he could tell that she was impressed by his lie. He felt like it didn't matter what class he took, he always had to be a conman in his heart.

"There. My secret. I told you this because I will be stayng here for a long time."

Elsewhere, Tim had already delivered the letter to the messenger from the main family.

Alex had asked Tim to do this for him, after asking permission from Alice to report about the disappearance of Robert.

After traveling for a few days, when the messenger finally delivered the letter,

"Robert is Dead?"

Ronald sat on his chair, stunned. Robert had been one of his most loyal retainers. He was a battle-hardened veteran, who was great at survival.

What exactly happened there?

He was angry.

"Send this message to all the assassins currently deployed by the main family, we have an organization to take down."
