《Bred To Be An Assassin》A Simple Spar.

"The footwork is below average. Adjust the second step to land a bit early."
"Jumping strength is above average, but the posture is a bit awkward, can lead to sprains in important moments."
"Hand movement is awkward, not suitable to the current body. Give up on the current regimen, and either get one from the outside or use AP to get a new one."
Alex was sweating. He was exhausted because he had been training like crazy. Those capsules were miracle medicine, and he was already getting the hang of his new body. The induced concentration duration hadn't ended yet and he was trying to make his body more familiar with the knowledge of his previous life, but some of the exercises that he had learned were useless to his current body. Especially his arm placement while trying out certain Martial arts moves. His muscles felt awkward when he tried them, almost as if they were hindering the overall speed from the moves of martial arts like Wing Chun and the overall balance from the Brazilian Martial art of Capoeira. It also made his training in The class skill 'a fatal flaw', really slow.
His breathing skill was working pretty well in comparison. Regulated breathing that he had learned from his Senior was pretty good. His stamina was improving.
"User, the duration is about to end. System advises you to start meditating to revise the body movements to consolidate your practice."
Alex nodded. He sat down and started meditating. His brain was going through all the practice that he did, and he started memorizing all the movements in his mind.
"Duration complete. The User will now go into mandatory resting mode."
"Applying new parameters. Improvement duration, 5 hours."
Once again, he was ejected out of the system. This time, however instead of feeling pain in his head, there was a warm feeling. But his body felt pretty sore.
He was really tired, but at the same time, there was a slight smile on his face.

8 hours later,
"Young master, it's time to wake up."
A sweet feminine voice broke him out of his current state, and he sat upon his bed.
"Good morning Alice." He responded.
"Good morning master," she replied.
He got up from his bed and went to his bathroom, to freshen up. Alice insisted to help him with this, but he sincerely declined. He wasn't accustomed to this current noble lifestyle, and it wasn't going to change anytime soon.
After changing up, he followed Alice towards the dining hall of the mansion. There, his breakfast was set up. An authentic English breakfast. Currans originated from England, having connections with many high officials in the government, and were close to the royal family as well. The household that they were currently in, the Kramer household was located in the Austrian part of the parallel world, inside of an isolated area surrounded by a dense forest.
He sat down on his table, while Alice was standing beside him. After finishing up, he wanted to talk to ask Alice about the current situation. He said,
"Alice, I want to ask you to do something for me."
"What is your command master?" Alice asked respectfully.
"Is the Kramer family undertaking any mission in the nearby cities currently?"
Alice didn't expect that question. She had never seen the young master before, but the report that Robert gave her signaled that he was a 'child trying to prove himself to his parents.' She had to change her perspective about him after what he just said.
"Yes, master. We are currently trying to nab a spy sent from a Rogue German Intelligence agency, to assassinate the Russian Consulate. They want to stir up problems between the two countries and want to dissolve the treaty that they are going to sign, to ensure that the relations sour between the two countries, so that Austria can lose the protection from Russia, making it easy to infiltrate the country and possibly set up a puppet state."

Alex started contemplating. He wanted to take up more assassin jobs, but all he could do now was work as intelligence, and come up with tactics. Nonetheless, he had to actively participate in the affairs of this family to establish a position that garnered more respect.
"Alice, bring me the best assassins of the family, I will take care of this mission personally", Alex responded.
Alice nodded. She was dumbstruck on the inside. The reason was that this boy actually wanted to lead a high-level mission. Even after learning about the importance and the difficulty of it. He didn't look like he was putting up a front, which was alarming for her. "Master, me and my sister will take the assignment. We are the most qualified assassins to undertake this mission."
"Good. Bring me all the documents related to the mission as well."
Alice bowed and moved out. After finishing his food, Alex left the dining hall and went to the training ground adjoined to the mansion. Many of the butlers and maids whom he had met before, were training in different attire. Because it was 9 am, they had already finished all their duties. It was time for them to train.
"Young master! Are you here to train?"
A butler called out to him as soon as he entered the grounds. Everyone was getting ready to kneel, but Alex signaled them to continue with their work. He was intrigued by the man that had called out to him, so he went towards him.
"Your name?" He asked the butler.
"Tim Kramer." The butler answered with a smug smile on his face.
'He looks like a total pushover. Let's play with him for a little bit.'
Tim is one of the younger butlers of the mansion, being only 18. When he first saw the young master, he was a bit jealous. He was loyal to the main family, but he wanted to dazzle the young master a bit with his strength, so he could act cool in front of him.
"Would you like to spar with me?"
Alex wanted to test his skills, and Tim looked a bit more approachable than the other people around him.
Tim however, was a bit agitated. He didn't expect that just because the young master had a background, he wanted to mock Tim for stepping out of his bounds as a butler. It was a misunderstanding, and usually, he would have respected his employer and backed off. But he wanted to show this kid his place.
"I would be glad to."
Alex readied himself. They both were standing in front of each other, Tim in a standard taekwondo form, and Alex just standing, formless.
"I will strike first!"
He jumped towards Alex, who refused to move from his place. He intended to punch his stomach and render him immobile. Just as his punch was about to strike, Alex used his legs to evade the attack..
He barely dodged the attack. He was already panting.
'Looks like his jumping was way too much for this body', he thought.
Tim was surprised, but he quickly turned around to land a hit.
"Got you now!"
Alex chuckled. Before Tim could do anything else, he felt his body go numb. A well placed chop on his neck, while he had dodged the initial attack.
All the bystanders looked at Alex, stunned. Tim was lying on the ground, with dirt on his face.
"Take him back to his quarters." Alice appeared from behind Alex and ordered one of the butlers.
Monster. He was able to disable an assassin in training in one move.
Everyone shared this opinion. They all didn't expect to be this one-sided, that too in this kid's favor.
'The information was wrong. He is miles better than all of his brothers in terms of potential.'
Robert said while looking towards the training ground. He needed to capitalize on this chance. The position of kingmaker was open for his taking.

The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody
[participant in the 2018 NaNoWriMo Royal Road challenge] The Ordinary Life of Tom Nobody is a LitRPG system story where each person transitions into the system, or SCHEMA as this system is known, innocent and unaware of his former life. Following the tutorial, memories return, but by this point, each person has a better chance of accepting their new world. It also gives them an opportunity to start from scratch, fresh without all the baggage of their former lives dictating their decisions in the early stages of the process. I don’t expect this will necessarily turn into an action-packed heroic tale, my intent is to create a character who wants to have just an ordinary, but reasonably comfortable life. I don’t know myself how well he will succeed, there may be twists and Tom may discover some heroism hidden deep inside. I guess we’ll find out together. This is my first writing attempt. I’ve wanted to write all my life, but I’ve never been able to develop the proper discipline to put in the work. I hope I complete the challenge and work my way past this hump. I am writing this as part of the NaNoWriMo Royal Road Challenge. While I will try to self-edit as I go, the challenge requires close to 2,000 words a day, so parts of the story may be rough, and things like plot lines may not make as much sense as any of us would like. If all goes well, and I complete the challenge, I plan on going back through everything and trying to polish it up. In the meanwhile, thank you for reading and I hope I don’t disappoint.

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.

In their inevitable loss versus the cosmic being, they return to the mortal realm with the help of their Deities.
