Chapter 16 Winter Training (1)

At some part of the Military Training Camp.

Two Trainees were fighting hand-to-hand. It is of course just a training for them, but if someone sees this, and sees the intensity and complexity of techniques used in this fight, they will think that the fight is a Death Match.

One of them is a blond hair girl named Annie. And her practice partner is none other than a boy named Vincent.

Blows after blows were exchanged after another. The two are like, two gods of combat, fighting in the mortal world.

But the two clearly are not a match, as the blond hair girl can't hit the guy, or to say, can't harm the guy.

Annie uses all she got, but like fighting an unsurpassable mountain, she didn't even make Vincent serious or use his full strength, as she saw that Vincent was relaxed and could talk to her perfectly, unlike her whose body was in constant alertness.

"Annie, is that it? Is this all you got? Is all the things I taught you are for nothing"

"Why.... I can't... hit you.... bastard!"

Annie said that between punches and kicks...

Annie then grabs Vincent's hand, intending to lock it between her armpits, but, like a great slippery slimy slime, Vincent broke free from the grasp of Annie.

Since that time when Vincent invited Annie to follow him out and fight her, Annie always asked for spar, and now they would always train together.

And of course it's for Drama.

Leaning on the tree and making an exhausting sigh. Even though Annie didn't land a single attack or land a hard hit on him. Vincent is exhausted nonetheless.

Annie is a great fighter, and Vincent is a normal human being, getting exhausted, because fighting is natural to feel, and it clears to see when you're fighting a strong opponent.

"It is almost winter, and I heard that there's a winter training that will make you earn points if you pass it"

"Annie, are you going as well?"

Annie, leaning on the tree answered...

"Yeah, I need points to be at the Top 10"

"Good luck, then"

"Tell me if you have some confusion, lets meet up tomorrow"

"Ok..."

Winter Training!!!

Looking outside the window Vincent saw the snow rain gently.

This time of Winter was at its peak, and It will be practically freezing all the time.

Then when Vincent was still daydreaming, one Instructor opened the door and said,

"Winter Training will be up, anyone who wants to join, wore your winter training outfit and follow me"

Wearing his Winter Training Outfit, Vincent looked towards his roommates and saw that all of them were participating...

"Connie, Marco, Jean, Reiner, Bertolt, Armin, and even you Eren, You guys were going too?"

"What" even you Eren. "Of course, I'm joining the Winter training!"

"Since Eren is joining, I want to go too"

"Well, everyone is joining so why not?"

"Reiner will be going and I'm just joining too, because of it..."

"Of course Vincent, I'm going to Military and I need to be at the top 10 That's why the more points I got, the better"

"I have the same Idea as Jean, Vincent"

"And you too, Connie?"

"Yeah, I like to join the Military too"

Vincent smiled bitterly to himself and thought...

'Sigh~ No one wants to enter the Survey Corps, except Eren's gang'

"Vincent, now that we mentioned where we wanted to join. What department will you join? Military, right? With your skills, you will absolutely be at the Top 10!"

Vincent thought for a moment, pointing his finger at Eren and said.

"I'm joining the same as Eren, I will be joining Survey Corps"

"WHAT!"

Connie, Marco, and Jean exclaimed.

When Eren heard what Vincent had said, he jumped in joy and quickly walked towards Vincent and said.

"Vincent! You're joining the Survey Corps!"

"Yeah"

"Hahaha! Jean, Vincent is not a coward like you. He will never join the Military"

"What did you say?!"

"Huh. I'm right though"

"You're picking a fight, Bastard?!"

"I'm just saying the truth, coward!"

When Eren and Jean were close on coming to blows. Vincent then spoke, stopping the fight.

"Hey, don't fight! The Instructor is still waiting, if you guys fight now, we will be late and yell out!"

There's quite a few people joining the Winter Training, since all the special Training is vicious and hard to bear, it was understandable that few people had the guts to join in.

Lining up in the field, the snow is not that thick and too cold to bear, but it was cold nonetheless, but with Vincent going all day going to Cold Lake, this cold is easy for him.

There's like only 40 out of 200+ people who participate and join the Winter training, but the one that joins is the best as you can say, the best of the best.

"All of you Will be Training under these freezing cold"

"The first thing is you need to know is to know your limit, don't push yourself or you might die like the others"

"Anyway, you guys will be stationed in the mountain, and there, is you will be starting the real Training"

"Then let's go"

The Instructor said that, and proceeded to board the carriage and started to go.

"Everyone! If you are still hesitating to participate, drop now as we might face more danger than this. Think of all the things you did and in the Military Training Camp and think to yourself, is it worth it? The first thing the Instructor said is to know your limits, so know your limits"

"Everyone who still wants to participate, start walking now! It will be hard at first, like other training, but it will be easy as time goes on"

Vincent said that and began to lead the way, He needed an ally to fight Titans, and the more the better, he will never be like Eren who thought that he can kill all the Titans alone He is not blinded by revenge, and his goal is clear, set in stone.

Trainees then began to look left and right, some are uneasy and some have determined expressions.

"Vincent is right! Let's go!!"

Reiner echoed and joined Vincent in leading the way...

And with that push, everyone who wanted to participate followed, but some Trainees who were affected by Vincent speech, knowing their limit, dropped and got back to their lodges.
