Hey it's Shadow here, again. Well, I've become a badass. I'm awesome now ha! Finally. After so long I get my time to shine although it's not how I imagined it would happen. I'm a prince of darkness now or rather a devil.

It's too bad. With those powers I could've been some kind of hero but instead I'm evil and about to face off against my best bud. Pyro's there too but we all know he needs an ass whooping. Anyhow let's get to it...

The battle is about to begin. Shadow's facing off against the rest of the heroes. As they prepare for the scuffle it would seem that the tension becomes thicker.

All of them are waiting for one thing though and that's for Shadow to make the first move however he has been standing there, waiting, with his eyes closed.

Pyro: "Argh! Screw this, I can't wait anymore. Let's go!"

Illume: "Wait, you idiot!"

Pyro runs first. As he does, he forms a closed fist wrapping it in fire while he has flames forming a barrier around him. He moves in closer but he notices something is off. Shadow has not moved an inch. Pyro continues to advance though and decides to get a punch in. With his right hand he opens a gap through his barrier and punches towards Shadows head.

Pyro: "Ha, got you!"

Pyro looks to Shadow only to see that he has been blocked with one hand and sees something even more peculiar.

Pyro: "What the? Is that a flame?"

Shadow: "That flame of yours is quite nice but it'll look better if I use it. I think I'll try that barrier too."

As Shadow says that, a barrier just like Pyros is formed but more explosively. It forms from Shadows body moving outward at extreme speeds driving back Pyro. Soon the area is covered in black flames as the barrier has expanded exponentially. Luckily for our heroes they have a water user on their side who used her ability to protect them with a water shield.

Seeing her ability makes Shadow smile.

Shadow: "Ah, another element I have yet to make my own."

He forms a water shield above Aquas shield and tries to crush them with it while he uses his flames to surround them which in turn causes them to heat up indefinitely.

Shadow: "I wonder how long your shield would hold up. What's going to kill you first? The heat or the crushing weight of that thing on top of you."

Aqua begins trembling as the weight of the water shield on top of her begins getting heavier and with the heat increasing, her focus begins staggering as well.

Aqua: "Damn you!"

Pyro: "You asshole!"

Shadow: "Funny. I used to call you that all the time Pyro."

Pyro: "What?"

Illume: "Yeah you were kind of an asshole Pyro."

Pyro: "Oh, come on, seriously? I wasn't that bad of a guy, was I?"

Aqua: "You were kind of a dick Sparky."

Inferno: "Hey kids, focus. Unless you want to die. The enemy before us is like no other, stop playing around."

Right then Inferno hits the ground causing massive pillars of flame to erupt, one by one heading towards Shadow. Shadows shield however protects him completely from the blast. Not a single scratch is seen on him after the smoke from the flames has disappeared.

Illume: "No stop using your powers, he's just going to use them against us."

Inferno: "I know kid but I had to make sure we got out of that trap. He had us right where he wanted us."

Aqua: "I think we'll just have to take him on with hand-to-hand combat. That might be our only way out."

Pyro: "Yeah but who says he's going to do the same."

Illume: "Oh he definitely won't. He was never the type to fight."

Inferno: "Let's just test the waters and see."

Illume: "Okay whatever you say. Hey yo Shadow. How about you take us on with just your hands buddy."

Shadow looks at them with a furious stare and once he does, those pillars of fire are thrown back at them. This time being black flames of destruction.

Aqua: "Hey Pyro throw up your barrier around my shield but be careful that they don't touch. If it works it'll help protect us."

Pyro: "Okay babe."

Illume: "Ew."

Pyro: "Ah, Shut it!"

Surprisingly the barrier mixed with the water shield works just as expected and protects them. One might think the water would evaporate but it remains.

Inferno then looks at Illume.

Inferno: "Hey kid, got any special talents that we should know about?"

Illume: "Well I can summon weapons of light at will but it wouldn't help anyone, he'd just counter them."

Pyro: "What? Are you telling me that you could've just summoned weapons this whole time? Why didn't you say so sooner doofus?"

Illume: "See Pyro this is why no one likes you."

Pyro: "Okay my bad but we need to beat this guy and we have to use everything we've got."

Inferno: "Kid, has he seen all your weapons?"

Illume: "Yeah he has... all except for one but I'll be surprised if he doesn't use it himself first."

Inferno: "Well that's all we need. We just need something to give us the edge. Let's surprise him them."

They begin whispering to each other while Shadow watches. He does not move an inch while staring at them as they create a plan. Luckily for them this gives them time to devise something that might work.

A few seconds later they all shout out: "Okay! Ready!"

They look at Shadow.

Mist forms. As the mist gets denser, they begin to disappear from Shadows sight.

Shadow: "Ooh that's a neat party trick."

A fireball soon flies out of the mist but Shadow stands still and tilts his head. It flies past him barely even grazing him. He seems pissed.

His attention remains elsewhere and this is exactly what they want. Right then Aqua appears out of the mist approaching Shadow from his right. She's fast but Shadow sees her easily. She then moves around him and begins using the close distance as an excuse for close combat. Her movements are fast but to Shadow they're slow. With each strike she lands, Shadow moves faster and begins imitating her fighting style.

Inferno: "How is this even possible? The Infernus fighting style takes years to master and this kid knows it like the back of his hand. Are you certain he never had any training?"

Illume: "I'm just as surprised. So, the idiots been holding out on me huh? Nah I don't think it's that. Could this too be part of his power?"

Inferno: "What's even more surprising is that he's keeping up with a prodigy such as Aqua."

Pyro: "Hey guys can we forget about admiring him and focus on the plan."

Both Inferno and Illume shout out "Right!" and begin the next phase of the attack.

.....

What's next in their plan? Will it work? How would Shadow (me) react?

I told you guys I'm, back right? Of course, good ol' Shadow is about to make some silly jokes. So, what do you think? I'm better at narrating, right? Anyway, so as you can see the battle is about to get even more real and for some reason, I get the feeling that I'm going to get even more powerful and more destructive.
