《Abnormal 2》Chapter 3 Hairy approach

"Watch it !" I yelled.
The two men are clearly not listening.
My hood almost fell off in one of 21's attacks.
I grabbed the monopoly board and smashed it against 12's face.
The board shattered into pieces, 21 tried to use this opportunity to attack me behind my back.
He swung his leg at me, I ducked, instead of hitting me, he got his companion.
"OW!" 12 groaned.
I jumped onto the top right corner of the room and stopped there, supporting myself with my arms and legs.
"30 seconds! I repeat! You two have got 28 seconds left before the cops break open the door to this room! " I announced.
They growled in frustration and sprinted towards me, I jumped onto 21's shoulder, with force, I leaped off of it.
The impact made him stumble forwards, but not long after, he made a turn to attack.
"Pretty faaaa....." I stepped onto something and slipped.
Damn it.
12 snatched my sword ( Which I accidentally dropped during the fight )
He threw it at me in might, I wasn't able to react as fast as usual in mid air.
"That's not...!!!" I slightly tilted my head to my left.
The sword cut through my hood, revealing a quarter of my dark coloured hair.
"..FAIR!!!" I yelled this part out.
12 smirked, "Nothing is fair in this world!!!"
Crash*
The door fell apart, cops in black and blue marched in, their guns pointing at us, red dots surrounded the three of us like lasers.
"You three! Put your hands up!" One of them yelled.
"The girl is my assistant." Sean said, he popped out behind the squad.
*************
"You're wounded and you did not know?"
I shaked my head as I stretched my neck to the side, I looked at the small cut in the mirror and sighed.

So....the sword cut through my hoodie....and almost my throat.
"Hey Mil ! Are you listening?" Sean said, patting my back.
"Oh, yeah?" I turned my head towards him and answered, "So are those two arrested?"
Sean bobbed his head, he dabbed some ointment on my cut and wrapped it around in bandages.
But there's one thing.
"TOO TIGHT GEEEEEEZZZZ!!!!" I wheezed out, running out of air.
Sean gasped, he grabbed a pair of scissors and chop*
I was able to breathe again, hooray, but, erm...
A sense of nervousness and annoyance rushed up to me.
I took a glimpse of the black strands of hair., on my shoulder.
" Is that...." I muttered as my eyes slowly turned towards Sean, "MY HAIR?!"
"Hehehehe......"He laughed weakly.
My eyes darted back to the handful of black hair before turning to face the mirror.
"SEAN YOU MORON!!!!!!!"
I charged towards the boy head first.
"OOF! "
I knocked the air out of his lungs as his whole body fell backwards.
My headbutting skills aren't as advanced yet.
I grabbed his arm and threw him across the hall, his back slammed against the wall, shaking the entire building.
"M..mi..li...." He slowly slided down, revealing a web like pattern.
"Hmft!" I huffed and walked away.
It didn't take long before realizing what I just did.
"SEAN! CAN YOU HEAR ME?! OH DON'T YOU MOTHERF*CKING DARE TO DIE ON ME !" I yelled.
**************
Silence took over......again....for the millionth time today.
Sean gently sipped on his coffee while I sipped on mine.
I have no intention of starting a conversation and I suppose he's the same.
Ok, I can't take this anymore, what's with this attitude, TOUGHEN UP YOU IDIOT!
I screamed in my head, unknowingly slapped myself.

Sean was startled by my sudden move.
I snapped back to reality and stared at him.
He stared back, I pressed my lips into a thin line and sat back.
"So...erm...in for pizza?" I said, the atmosphere was kind of awkward.
Sean placed his cup on the table in front of him and stretched his arms, "Yeah sure."
"So...since we've got nothing to do....how about we bake stuff?" I suggested.
"That's a girly thing to do." He said.
"Yeah, well, I don't know, who knows if you'd like it? You never baked before...right?" I replied, waving my other hands (And spilling coffee on the carpet.)
Sean looked at the carpet and looked back at me, "You know you can't wash carpets right?"
"Timmy needed a new bed anyway." I lifted the table upwards, ignoring the slipping coffee cup.
Sean caught it just in time and glared at me.
I pulled the carpet out and walked towards the basement.
"Are you gonna come?" I asked.
"Erm, I'll just stay here, no thanks." He said, giving me a funny weird smile.
I unlocked the door and pushed it open, "This may take a while..."
I walked down the stairs, it was dead silent, all I could hear were my own footsteps.
Soon, there were no more rays of light, it was dark, dull, and that's the only words I can come up with for now.
Suddenly, something dashed pass me, I looked back, nothing.
"Hm...Timmy?" I whispered.
I turned back, and jumped in shock.
4 pairs of glowing red eyes were staring at me, one foot from my face.
"Oh god, Timmy, you don't have to scare me like that." I giggled, walking around him and continuing my pace.
The large spider watched and observed every move I make.
"So, how's you wife and kids?" I questioned.
I didn't really expect an answer from him, but I asked anyways.
All he said was , "Ssss---kssst--Hssss-----"
I placed the carpet on the floor with the other stack of carpets ( which I have left everytime I ruin one)
Chattering sounds begin, some of Timmy's next generation woke up from their temporary nap.
Didn't mean to disturb them.
"Yo Timmy, can you grab me one of those new carpets?"
Tapping sounds approached me, something hairy brushed pass my legs, I didn't mind of course.
Not long after, something round touched my feet, a rolled carpet, I assume.
"Thanks." I picked it up and made a 180 degrees turn, walking straight towards where I came from ( Which I'm not sure, even got lost once or twice because of the darkness )
"Bye, cya." I said before heading up the stairs.

8 142Same Crap, Different World
A young man from early 21st century wakes up in a different world. This world is like a typical setting of an fantasy isekai novel. But it is also not. There is magic, alchemy, magical creatures, different non-human races, peasants and nobles, demons and dragons. But there is also politics, persecution, supremacism of every kind, entitlement, slavery and other unpleasant human tendencies. In short, this new world does not differ much from his old one. However, besides him, there may be others who have made such a strange trip, and awakened into this new world. There certainly have been others, in the past. But more than people and other living things, there have been items. All sorts of items, which are regarded as otherworldly artifacts with unknown danger and power. And he himself is an artifact as well, albeit a living one. Therefore he has use for the powers that be. He is also given a role and expectations to fulfill, to hide his real value. And in all that he still has to make sense of what has happened, what is happening, and find a way back, if possible. Author's note: I write this project mostly in (except chapter 1) in 60-100 page (40,000-70,000 word) chapters, edit them as such and later cut them down for publishing into 7-11 page segments (depending on natural breaks in the flow). Therefore, each chapter may be divided into 10-15 subchapters.
