《I, the last black dragon, 6 year old. (TOME 1 of the TIAMAT'S WARS SERIE)》Crucifixion of Unicorns

It was night and we had arrived at the cathedral by darkness and from afar we could see the sky glowing red. The fire must have been terrible and as all the structures were made of wood and made of boats stranded on the lagoon, there must have been nothing left but embers.

Japanese planes and vehicles, boats, all converged to help the countless victims.

Hiroshima 2...

Hirrax squeezed me between his paws.

"I'm a monster... All these people..."

I'm becoming more and more TIAMAT... I could feel it.

Then I stood up and said, "Darkness be! " And the night continued over the continent, as if a giant eclipse had occulted the sun.

So I took out the troops and all the legions. They quickly surrounded Sinistrar's palace, as a diversion and terrible fighting began.

The sky lit up a little and one could see in orbit the Elohim cities, or angels preparing to counterbalance the infernal legions. They had the green light for the great war.

The 2 towers of Druaga rose towards the sky and the celestial part came into contact with the terrestrial part and a big click was heard.

The upper part unfolded and cannons came out of the confined spaces and pointed to the sky.

A giant shield wrapped around the mana-laden tower, and they were ready to fire.

Then the projectiles were fired at the troops on the ground and the troops in the sky.

Nuclear explosions could be seen, having knocked down orbital structures that fell to the ground.

All the Japanese fire focused on the towers, the infernal legions and the imperial defense.

Without celestial reinforcements, the infernal legions were slowly gaining the upper hand.

Meanwhile..,

I had arrived at the cathedral, which had undergone a lot of alterations. But it was the foundations that interested me.

I activated a glyph that only the demon lord knew innately, and the cathedral shook, and then the whole thing slid aside, revealing a bottomless abyss.

The winch was positioned in a half-dome above it and the two super carriers laid the huge cables.

Immediately, I started the drilling operations and a portal was activated between the 3 centering pillars.

The cables ran down at a dizzying speed and the zodiacal dragons descended with the portal to prepare for the next operations.

Then the sky lit up to the north and it was known that the Grand Crane passage had just been nuked, followed by the port cities and bases in the Zantar.

Most had been emptied and replaced by inflatable decoys, even inflatable dragons to lure the enemy.

Now there was nothing to stop me!

I heard the imprisoned unicorns begging me one last time...

"Ivan, you have had your revenge. We knew you hated us. We knew you hated Magestia and all her fantastic people. Stop, I beg you. We can rebuild everything together."

I turned to unicorns.

"What are you, mentally handicapped or something? I never hated Magestia. I never hated anybody! But instead of helping us, you hooked up with that demon Youkai Yamamoto who destroyed your way of life. Instead of blaming the orcs and their infernal portal, you came after me!

Instead of letting me peacefully carry out my rescue operation, you forced me to use ungodly means. If you must blame anyone, it's yourself!

"Please, Ivan... "

I launched a bubble of silence, their cries and complaints making me waver in my determination.

"Bring the cages down, the structure is at the bottom!"

The unicorns were lowered to the bottom of the hole.

And I joined the other zodiacal dragons at the bottom.

The huge hall with three pillars and portal symbols in ancient dragon law that only we could read but necessarily understand.

The unicorns were tied upside down and a magically operated blade would make them bleed, absorbing pure mana and sacrifice to speed up the passage of Fayrune's mother to our existential plan.

I stood in the center of the circle, and the moment I began the incantation...

I saw the zodiacal dragons fall, some stunned, some lifeless.

Then I saw a familiar figure, full of blood.

Navarre!

We each had our battle size and his fur was full of blood.

Behind Him, Erza Chronos and Will.

"We've come to stop you. This time there'll be no mercy even if you surrender.

We understood your scheme right away and you won't bring an abomination.

Don't look for reinforcements, they're neutralized."

The Unicorns were screaming to untie them.

Will pulled out a special sword I didn't trust.

This was my fight for survival! I was faced with heroes who were prepared and armed to bring me down.

As with argentrix, I hid my levels and characteristics so that they would fall into the trap of fairness.

Navarre fell for it and the spell was too high for Chronos. With my white head, I strengthened my resistance to the cold and I wasn't going to fall into the trap of going into the heap.

I also strengthened my senses because they had an illusionist with them.

They tried to surround him, but I backed off. I wasn't going to play fair, so close to the goal.

From my dimensional space, I dropped mines. Physical attacks couldn't hurt me unless they were enchanted.

Fenrir: "Coward!"

Me: "They're the same! You should be used to them!"

He wanted to jump on me but one of my heads blew acid gas. Unfortunately for the heroes, the gas piled up at the bottom and didn't disperse.

They were coughing and spitting out their lungs.

When Fenrir turned his head and asked "Erz?"

He didn't have time to finish, my black head plunged into the shadows and grabbed Erza by the leg and dragged her into the darkness where she hung in my face.

She had her axe and she tried to hit my jaw to get me to let go, but then I increased the bite and she screamed in pain. "Ivan, nooo, I've got maaaaaal, stop!"

And she dropped her axe. All of a sudden I smashed it against the pillar and she slipped, full of blood from the blow and the bite to her leg, knocked out.

Will approached and I blew fire on him, but the blade scattered the flaming mana and he was not hurt or burned. He stepped back a little.

Closing his eyes, he was surprised by a tail strike that sent him to the other side of the room, groggy. But there were the mines between him and me and I had activated the darkness as much as I could to disorient them. Passing was risky, the mines were no good.

I finished the phrases of the invocation of the portal and the blades entered the unicorns and their blood flowed on the stelae. They would lose many, but not enough to kill them, but they didn't know it.

Navarre: "Monster, you have cut their throats! You will pay for this!"

His aura increased tenfold and I was really scared.

He's growing and his fangs could tear me to pieces!

Chronos could do nothing, and the shields on the pilings prevented him from doing anything to free the unicorns.

"Old man, you are wasting your time. You can cast healing spells if you want them to survive!"

Offended, he could only accept my proposal and cast healing spells to ease the suffering of the crucified unicorns.

As the threads of blood intertwined to form a membrane, I leapt on Fenrir and my teeth entered the hard fur like steel wire of the giant wolf.

I pushed back, my goal being to make him walk on the mines.

GRAH, he broke free and blew primary ice on me but my white head took a breath and I took the opportunity to bite his shadow with my black head.

He yelped a blow, a horrible wound in his thigh.

He swept away with an explosion of ice or many crystals, like swords put distance between him and me.

I activated parallel thinking and was able to attack five times faster.

Breath of fire!

Breath of acid!

Sharp jet of water

Lightning!

The fenrir's ice armor was taking a hit and I kept blowing, one head at a time,

So he was hopping and avoiding the blows without being able to concentrate.

I launched a volley of magic missiles and instantly beamed into his back.

I aimed at his injured paw and he dragged it.

Will came back and was thrown by a Fenrir tail strike, he was thrown at me...

He was coming straight to my heart!

Instantly, mines came out of my inventory and the blade hit a mine that ripped the sword out of his hands but took it with his fingers...

He was badly wounded and Navarre licked his hands and his wounds closed but he was out for the next round.

Chronos cured Erza by giving her the major care and she was in the fight.

She climbed on Fenrir's back and they charged.

I televised myself instantly on their back and spat out Chain of Lightning.

The lightning bounced between them and the wall, causing immense damage.

A gem appeared on Fenrir's leg and a "Bestiale" or "soulblade" blade appeared.

It was a sword, the weapon of a magical beast. Very powerful but which cannot remain apparent or materialized for long.

My magic shields would be useless.

Champion lizards saw me and they took care of Erza, Will and Chronos.

I could concentrate on Navarre.

I cast a spell of strength and speed as he summoned a breath of absolute zero...

Trained by Demodragon to become an Interrupted Warrior, I broke his fate by striking him with my tail, followed by my claws that slashed his fur.

Slowly, but surely, Navarre was faltering.

Suddenly, my black head grabbed his shadow and dragged him elsewhere, into the underworld just above the islet of the lava lake.

I let go of him and he didn't realize where he was. A window and lava don't mix.

Demodragon was waiting for him in his worst form.

He had just enough time to yelp as the hooks went deep into the back of his neck...

"May you have a better life and then I'd ask Demodragon to spare him... There'd been enough death."

Navarre cried out, paralyzed, "I don't want your pity!"

And Demodragon finished wrapping him in a strong, thick cloth that not even ice could break, especially here, surrounded by lava.

I instantly returned to the deep well.

The unicorns were half-dead, and I pushed a button, or the blades withdrew and let chronos heal them. Will and Erza were tied up, chains and anti-mana shackles were attached to them.

I had come out the winner but I had many wounds but my scales were terribly strong and Demodragon's training finally paid off.

Will: "And Navarre, is he dead?"

I said, "No, don't worry, I spared him and the three unicorns. There's been enough death."

I could hear the fighting getting closer. The Japanese army was resisting, with the energy of despair, but I wanted to keep my objectives. Afterwards, I didn't care...

I returned to my human form and knelt down with all my companions.

Hirrax joined me, followed by the other Generals.

Mother crossed the bloody membrane and appeared in her human form. At last half.

I lay down, afraid to look at her, her presence overwhelming everything.

I had death and life before me.

She could barely stand upright and I reached out my hand to her and she sucked out all the mana and life force which she needed.

I was literally 75% drained but we were all happy to finally see our mother again.

Then she looked down at me.

"Ivan, you have succeeded where all your predecessors have failed. What do you wish for your reward...?"

All the army of darkness looked at me, but with me I had the art of destroying everything and creating chaos around me.

"Mommy, Hug!"

Hirrax had a smothered grin...

And Tiamat took me in her arms...

"I love you, mother..."

Then Hirrax stepped forward and did the same, She too wanted to hold her mummy in her paws.

The prisoners didn't understand why we needed our mother too.

Then, giving me and Hirrax one last hug and a kiss on the head, no one else dared to get familiar, but the bruised zodiac dragons wanted their hugs, too, in the end.

She approached each one of them and their wounds closed and the nearly dead ones reopened their eyes.

There was heavy shelling as they came closer, and I said, "Mother, we have to get away from here, it's not safe anymore."

So we hugged each other and teleported to the secret world, where a base had been set up.

The infernal army was withdrawn and the Allied troops withdrew to the impregnable fortress of Xaida at Horok Castle.

Powerful lasers defended access by land or air.

Xaida being promoted to General of the Second Legion.

Tiamat was happy to have a base, a den, and all her people near her.

I was exhausted, but I owed her everything.

Without knowing it, I was a fanatic about Tiamat now.

She sat on her throne of fire and roared, unleashing a wave of terror like never before that crossed rocks and unimaginable distances, causing volcanic eruptions, landslides and also the collapse of idols of the human gods.

She roared so loudly that even I fell backwards, yet I sat on her right and on her left Demodragon, on another throne the same size as me.

"Ivan, your part is over. I am grateful to you. You are free to do what you want now, but know that you have always been free."

"Mommy, now we have to save Argentrix, your little girl."

Tiamat: "I'll teach you how to open portals and move through space-time."

"Thank you. Uh, also, Hirrax is my wife-- may she accompany me on my adventures?"

She gave Hirrax a kiss, lying on my feet in the lava.

"Of course, little Hirrax... how you've grown..."

But I said, "Well, Mother, I'm also the representative of the Earthforce who supported us and joined your army unconditionally. Could you take your anger out on them?"

Tiamat "I know my friends from my enemies. Fear not for them, I know about Hissa and your little brother, I know all about you..."

Then she turned to the zodiacal dragons and Demodragon who gave her the lowdown.

When she heard about the carnage I caused, she raised her eyebrows, "That's my son..."

The news and the havoc wreaked on the celebrities made Tiamat reflect on her own situation and the failures that had led to her loss before.

She was alive but vulnerable, and for how long?

She thought about the spaceship, repairing it and flying off to bomb the Elohim, but it was risky. We didn't want to wipe out all our efforts.

So she decided to engulf and fire-bomb the entire Cathedral of Darkness...

in the cave to establish his infernal palace. As the place was unknown, not even Navarre knew about it and he was chained there until Tiamat decided his fate.

I visited him.

Navarre: "You come to laugh at me?"

"No, I've come to tell you that I've finished here and that I'm off to another world. I asked Mama to be merciful but she has other plans.

Goodbye, and may we never see each other again."

I made the same visit to the unicorns who were terrified and could hardly breathe because the miasmas and pressure of the infernal dragons were so strong.

Metatron was green with rage, his plans collapsed, he was fomenting heavenly vengeance but was unable to reach the orbital base. Then, still in the dark, he saw the burning infrastructure descend into the atmosphere.

"It's not true!! he didn't dare.!

Then he saw on video the carnage of the dragon towers, the atomic carpeting and the anihilation of more than half of the Japanese and Magestian forces.

Only a third of their men and equipment remained.

"Why didn't they go on? "then the wave of terror from Tiamat finally reached him.

"NOOOONNNN!!! He has released the DEVOR OF THE WORLD! We are lost."
