《Reality Reset》Chapter 6: Nashville

The small settlement that was our old neighborhood was nowhere to be found, in its place, small houses where here, upon walking around asking people it seems that they appeared out of fin air just a moment ago, was that the result of accomplishing the task of Zone 265? A line of habitants started to form in front of a woman.
"What is going on?" I ask the last of the line for information.
"She is assigning the houses" hearing that I put myself in line telling Arthur and James that I will get one for the three of us.
I waited about an hour before finding myself standing in front of a young woman who should be around my age.
"Name and level," she asks without looking away from her document. Where the hell did she find the equipment for writing in this new world?
"Charle Alewise, level 7" She raise her eyes so that she could make eye contact.
"Level 7 huh how old are you?"
"Twenty three"
"I mean your real age" If I was to guess she was asking how long I spend in the different Realms.
"Twenty three"
"You mean to tell me that you solve all the tasks necessary to be level 7 and you didn't age even one year?"
"That is correct" I don't know why but a smirk forms on my face, a small sigh escaped her
"How many people do your house need and what are they level?"
"We are three, one level 5 and another level 7"
"The risings stars of Nashville," mumbling she wrote down something on her piece of paper.
"'I'm sorry, Nashville?" I looked at her confuse
"That's what we decided to call this place. You guys did a great job leveling up the Realm but now you got to let me handle the business of this town."
"Who are you?"
"I'm Nessa, the new mayor, please to meet you Charle," she said before handing me a key "You are to be on lot 37, take care inside yours Realms." she flashed me a smile, I took the key and move on after thanking her.
If I would have ended up here before the Global Reset I would have simply thought that I was visiting a small town, but now the look of it was magnificent. There is a square for the kid, a building that looks like a school, shops of different necessities, all that was needed to live a quiet comfortable life in the countryside one might even say. I join Arthur and James who were waiting for me at the terrace of a small restaurant.

"You wouldn't even know that everything disappears huh," said James a big smile on his face, he was eating ice cream.
"With what money did you buy that?"
"You can exchange anything for characteristics point" Arthur was the one who dissipate my confusion.
"We can trade those points?"
"Every trade facility has been equipped we a device that does just that."
The concept in itself was so intriguing that I found myself looking at the different prices displayed on a dashboard sitting outside the restaurant. It was said that one characteristic point was worth a 100 dash wish I found out was the new currency used inside the town.
"We now live in lot 37, here's the key, I am gonna go window shopping for a bit." I put the key on the table and started walking, looking around I found the shop I was looking for: "Weapon shop", I enter and find myself to be the only customer.
"Welcome to Nashville weapon shop, how can I be at your service?"
I quick look around made me stupefy, was the amount of weapons that were displayed here appeared because of the leveling of the Zone as well?
"I am looking for a sword"
"What is your level?" The man immediately asks, and when I respond to him he just stares at me with his mouth agape for a moment.
"I'm sorry but I need to check that for myself"
I was tempted to ask why but I just presented im my hand and he touch delicately my ring.
"You have been part of the mission to the Zone 265 I presume" he quickly went to his back office "Every one of the participants has been allowed to have one weapon for free by the mayor" he almost shout from the back, he seems to be looking for something, before returning to the main shop with a box in his hands. "Given that you are the highest level I have seen so far, I assume you are going to need this" he gave the box to me.
Upon opening, I found that it contained a magnificent sword with at the center of the pommel a green orb, when I took the weapon in my hand a window appears in front of me.

You have acquired the Sword of Destiny, +5 Force You have evolved to level 8 "Sword of Destiny" I mumble in a breath while getting the screen off my face. "Yes, that's what they are, I receive three of them and I was supposed to give them to people who were level 7 or more, you are the first one I see so you get to have one" "What ability do they have?" I wonder if it can do something special "I don't know, you will have to figure that out on kid." "Are you sure I don't owe you anything?" "Hey, it's because of you lot that we have a town to work with so off you go and be grateful" The man started to lose patience so I took my sword and left the store. I found myself looking at all the citizens of Nashville, the animation and hopefulness of the different sort of people that were here was contagious, I couldn't help but smile at the fact that life was beginning to structure itself again. I went to the edge of the town where a small wall was located, going to the stare I looked at the horizon, I could see other peoples on the outside occupate themselves to build stuff with fresh wood, the differents area outside of Nashville didn't seem to have leveled up their zone yet. There was a line of people just outside the town waiting to come inside in the probable hope to live there but most of them were refuse entry. I guess we can't welcome everybody. Going to lot 37 I found my brothers inside a rustic house, Arthur was cooking and James was playing with a knife. "The town is nice isn't it?" Arthur said while deposing a plate with fast movement on the table. "Yes, it feels safe for the moment" I respond still a bit wary of this new environment. "I can see myself living here for a long time" Jame was enthusiastic. "Let it not be a reason for not leveling up as much as you can" "Chill, I am a level six now I need to wait ten hours before entering another Realm." That was good, my baby brother must not be left in the dust. "Nice sword you got the Charlie" "I level up the moment I got to touch it. By the way, you need to go to the weapon shop, when you are level 7 he gives one those to you" "How much did it cost you?" "It was a gift for those that participate in the raid of Zone 265" "By the way, Marle said we have one week before entering the zone again" James mouth was full of food when he said that. "One week to get stronger than" I tried to sound joyful. "It can happen a lot of things in a week" Arthur intonation was dark. "Worry about something?" I tease "It just that I wouldn't call us safe just yet, what happens when some goblins or god know what start rampaging our world ? We just need to be ready to face hardship that's all" he was right of course, we can't be sure that this new system is all but established, change can always happen, it made me tap my ring. Charle Alewise - Level 8 Mind - 10 Force - 15 Agility - 5 Spirit - 20 10 remaining points to spend Skills (4) What should I up next?
