《A New Dynasty (One Piece)》Chapter 7

It was a day of celebration. Skypiea was rejoicing the fall of Enel and the rise of their new leader. It was the end of the old war and the start of a new bond.
All across the island people were eating, drinking and dancing.
It was a scene never before seen on this Island.
The preparations had been started from yesterday and the program started from the afternoon.
It started with the appearance of their new rulers and Enel.
Madara remembered such sights before but they were slightly different. He had stood in front of a host of soldiers holding their general and cut of the head. Now he was standing in front of citizens and holding their tyrant leader.
They were not showing fear but hope.
Standing on the platform where people could see him clearly especially since he was applying genjutsu on everyone within his range using water drops to reflect his eyes across the field so that they saw a giant screen.
Through it they could see him clearly and everyone on the stage.
"Good afternoon everyone, my name is Madara Uchiha. I am a wanderer and I have seen many things around the globe. I have learnt many things and gone through many events. It is these events that led to this situation. I wish to help people and stop the madness in this world. People like this, don't deserve to live. They only think for themselves and treat everything around them as toys.
Do you think we should allow them to continue such practice?
Do you think we should allow them to enslave the innocent?
Do we allow them to rape, pillage and destroy what they want?
Do they have such rights over us? Are they something beyond our comprehension or just mortals like us?
Tell me people of Skypiea, what should be done to this sinner? He is the man that has tormented you and planned to use you as toys until he got tired. Look at him now, powerless and pathetic." Madara spoke in a kind tone before slowly changing to an emotional tone that would connect with the sentiments of the people.
He wasn't used to such things but he had remembered Hashirama's words in these kinds of situations.
"Kill him!"
"Cut his head off!"
"Tear him to pieces!"
"Feed him to the monsters!"
"Death!"
"Death!"
The hate for Enel was overpowering and all that resulted in this cry for his death. None spoke any word of mercy because they had none to give anymore.
"This is the result of evil. Impress this upon your souls!" Madara held his soulless body by the head and with the sword in his other hand, he cut off his head without any resistance but to the others it looked like he begged for mercy. Looking like a coward of the worst kind and pissing himself as the sword cut him.
It was a dishonorable death and none would forget it.
With that there was silence before a cry of happiness rose from the crowd and Madara explained something's to allay their fears.
After that, the party truly kicked off and Madara met many people. It was the first time he let normal people interact with him.
He was a lone wolf and didn't really like people that much. This was something he had to do for his goal. He realized the flaw and fixed it in a way.
He was still not very good at conversation with weaklings so he only gave some words. It was a shame that he lacked Hashirama's social skills.

But that didn't give him an excuse to avoid these interactions. He needed this to give a good impression to the people.
He needed to show them that he was powerful but also someone approachable, someone that would listen to their problems.
Soon Music and dancing started. It had been so long that he couldn't even remember the last time it happened without his eyes.
It was a similar scene when Konoha was built and everyone was celebrating the end of the violent era.
Hashirama had forced him to dance with him since people were afraid to join him. It was a fun day especially since dancing was one of his passions.
It was one of the things he liked beside research and fighting.
This time he didn't need encouragement and decided to dance after so many years that it felt like his body had forgotten the old days.
Calling out to the people he walked out on to the stage to the eyes of everyone, they were shocked. They didn't think their new king was such a man.
He was already better than everyone in the past as he didn't call himself some higher being. He actually talked to them without making them sit under his feet.
He didn't show them a face of disdain or threaten to kill them if they wasted his time with drivel.
Now he just joined them in dancing and how wonderful were his moves. They had never seen anyone dance so well and utilize their body completely.
He moved across the stage like the wind and showed such sharp moves that they couldn't help but sigh in awe and cheer for the performance.
Looking at his expression they knew he was happy at this moment and he looked fabulous with that long hair.
This gesture gave them real hope of a bright future.
--------------
Madara really enjoyed the dance for 10 minutes where everyone's eyes were on him. He had always been the best dancer in Konoha.
He didn't like being second best at anything. It was already bad enough that he was the second best fighter.
"Wow, you were so beautiful. I have never seen anyone dance so well in my life." Conis expressed her awe at the scene as she joined him
"Your music skills were also good, Conis. Without them the dance is incomplete. Would you like to join me for a dance?" Madara thought about it and decided to play along with the kids today. He was finally relaxed after sleeping 10 hours and spending time meditating over the current situation.
He had decided to check out the situation of the world and then make bigger moves. For now, he would intervene with countries or islands that needed help. He would also see if he could make contact with different rulers that seem capable.
Right now he had incomplete data about the world to make the move and no team or resources for such a thing. It would be beneath him to make such amateurish mistakes and repeat any of his old mistakes.
This time he was going to cultivate proper followers and give them proper attention. He had wasted his opportunity with Obito and Nagato.
Those kids were exceptionally talented especially Obito. That kid was born with luck or something to have the ability to go intangible.
If he had taken back his eye from Kakashi then even Madara didn't think he could ever fight him or Hashirama.
Fighting someone who could attack while being intangible and have his attacks tear your body apart with no defense was just too much.

The war would have been won if Obito had recovered the eye but Madara had made sure to mess his mind so he never took such a step.
Madara never trusted him so obviously he wouldn't want Obito to have a chance to fight back.
"Thank you and I would love to." Conis was happy at this invitation. Madara was a handsome man with charisma and power.
He was kind and gentle with manners. He was like a prince charming to this beautiful girl who loved music and cooking.
"No need for such formalities. Let us enjoy this moment." Madara led Conis by the hand and they started dancing slowly.
It wasn't his first time dancing with a women but it had been a long time.
"What are you going to do now?" Conis asked after some time as they moved together
"Hmm, I will stay here for awhile and make some changes to the Island. After that I will travel the world again." Madara replied since it wasn't a secret.
"Do you have any particular direction?"
"No, I will just follow the wind."
"Is it fun travelling? Is it hard?"
"It is both, but If you know how to handle yourself then it isn't hard and it is just fun. Are you interested in travelling?"
"Yes, I have always wanted to see the world."
"But your father didn't allow it because the world is a dangerous place."
"Yes" Conis muttered with a sad tone.
Looking at her expression, Madara gave it a thought, "Would you like to follow me as my cook and musician?"
Madara wasn't just saying this because he was touched by her kindness or her music talent. He was impressed by those qualities but Conis was special. Her food actually had healing qualities and her music could actually affect the mind.
He didn't how but she had powers without a fruit and none of the other citizens had similar qualities.
She was a special girl among the herd of normal people.
"Really? Won't I be a burden?" She was shocked by his invitation. It was something she never expected.
"No, you are a special girl. I won't consider you a burden ever as you have a part to play, just like I have my part."
"Thank you so much, but please allow me to consult with my father."
"No problem, talk to him. He has raised you and taken care of you alone, so he deserves this."
Conis nodded and they danced in silence for a while before she left his side and went to her father.
------------------
Madara ate and drank like a champ showing everyone who was their daddy. After that he enjoyed a quite walk away from the hubbub. It was a nice feeling and he was relaxed. His heart was in place and he had things to look forward to.
He didn't have to live like a vermin, hiding from the world anymore. It was great to live in the light.
There were many things he was looking forward to, helping the world settle down peacefully was the main one since it had always been his dream and he needed complete to feel free. The second would be the fights and he was really looking forward to the fighters of this world.
He would have loved to fight someone with Enel's powers but Enel himself was a pathetic combatant.
Just as he was passing by the residential area, Madara's eyes caught sneaky movement within a large house.
'A thief' Madara thought and entered as this was his territory now. He could not allow such lawlessness under him.
Madara entered the house through the chimney as he had transformed into a smaller version of himself and took the thief by surprise.
He pushed the thief down from the back against the floor, "Do not resist, it is pointless." Madara muttered as he looked at the girl with orange hair wearing a bikini top and blue jeans.
"Hey let me go, I was just looking around. You can ask the owner."
"Lying is useless; I can tell when people are lying. You are a thief and I caught you red handed. I don't think those items made of gold were just put in the bag by themselves." Madara replied as he picked up the girl by the neck and stared into her eyes with his own.
Nami finally saw the person that captured her and she wanted to curse her luck as she had just seen his appearance clearly few hours ago.
She had decided to use this opportunity like always to steal the goods and was having a good time but her luck ran out.
'Damn my luck, how did I end meeting the savior of this Island?' Nami wanted to wake up from the bad dream and just hoped that they would let her go or they might end up fighting Madara.
'I really hope our captain does not react emotionally as we are going to be in real trouble if we fight.'
"Please let me go, I won't do it again." Nami tried her most sincere tone
"You are lying." Madara said as he started walking downstairs and then outside the house. With a command from him Nami walked behind him but he realized that she had a strong body and mind. It helped her resist the command.
He felt something similar to Enel from Nami but it was faint. It helped her break from his control but he acted before she could do anything.
With a thought the earth rose from below and covered her limbs before forming into straightjacket with a chain that he held in his hand.
"Not bad, where are you from?"
"None of your concern"
"I see. You are worried about your people back home. So, why steal?"
"I wasn't stealing."
"Must be a habit then. What do you think will happen to you now?"
"Prison"
"Right, do you think your friends can get you out?"
"Please don't hurt them. I will pay the fine or stay inside for my sentence." Nami couldn't allow such a thing to happen to her friends. They were like her family. They had gone through too much together and they had risked their lives for her. She couldn't drag them down like this.
It was her mistake to bear.
"Let go of her you barbarian!"
"Sanji, NO!" Nami screamed as she heard Sanji, who must have been looking for her to get a dance.
Madara blocked the kick with one hand and caught his foot in steel grip. It was a good kick, not many people in his world could compete with such physical strength but to him it was nothing.
He could kick away Bijuu with his physical form when their bodies could physically break mountains. He was one of the physically strongest beings in his world.
"I was just in the mood for a good fight. Call your friends and if you can entertain me, I will let her go." Madara let him go and pushed him away while giving him the ultimatum.
"Meet me on that ship, I will be waiting." Madara smiled as he flew away with Nami floating behind and disappeared from view instantly.
Madara was interested in their knowledge about the world since they were actual travelers and he could see potential in both the kids. He had an eye for this thing so he would give them an offer and see if they were interested.

Path of Righteousness
What do you desire? What are you afraid of? You run away from one, pursuing the other. Is that all you are? Conquer your fears. Dig to the bottom and confirm, what you really want... ...For you cannot escape suffering and death. You only have a little time. Use it wisely. Uru, a young boy with no talent for magic or fighting, sets out on a quest to become an avatar of order, the physical embodiment of righteousness, in a distant future, where control of origin energy allows people to defy physics and manipulate causality. Mocked by fate and broken by impossible dreams, all that's left is to stand in defiance to cruel existence. Because there is a Truth out there, somewhere. Singular, transcendent, eternal. What would you sacrifice for it? *** This is a fantastic sci-fi epic. It's going to blend both western and eastern traditional fantasy tropes – like might & magic and cultivation – with rational sci-fi grounded fully in reality, to produce a purely fictional fairy tale. I'd like to deliver something light-hearted and yet wholly serious. An uplifting adventure exploring the unfathomable reaches of humanity, free of indecency, with a healthy dose of humorous banter, legendary beings, and most importantly – lots of exciting, firework-filled mayhem! I've tried reading many web novels, but there's a fundamental problem with them – the eastern ones are annoyingly repetitive, superficial and morally destitute, while western ones are often dark, convoluted and profane. There's only so much one can do to filter out the bad and try to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. It's one thing to eat tasty fast food, but if it's moldy and filled with toxins, then it's not only poisonous, but also disgusting. The appreciation of beauty and higher values is disappearing at an alarming rate. Although there are throngs of talented people out there, none of them are creating what I want to witness – an inspiring battle against impossible odds, ending in absolute victory. A triumph of the spirit so overwhelming, it crushes the spectator into his seat and takes his breath away. I'm looking for a real paragon, so now I'd like to try conceiving one. *** The MC's name comes from Tolkien's Elven dictionary in Silmarillion, 'Uru' meaning 'Fire', and 'Dagnir an Uruloki' meaning 'Slayer of Dragons'. *** Note: I'm neither a native speaker, nor an aficionado of literature – I've never written anything before, and despite proficient English my literary prowess is abysmal. It therefore takes me a painful amount of effort to polish the chapters and bring them up to par. Last year I wrote and posted some on FictionPress, but I stopped since it wasn't going anywhere. The appalling amount of filth and mediocrity being peddled in all the media nowadays – a result of no conspiracy to manipulate the masses, but plain supply and demand – is no longer just the triumph of form over substance, but most worryingly corruption of the latter. Who wants to read about ideals anymore? And yet, masses flock together to gobble up perversion and depravity. That being said, I can't rule out pitiful exposure as the culprit to my failure, so I am now once again trying to increase it here, possibly for the last time. If there are still human beings present, hungry or in need of a detox after eating too much garbage, make yourselves heard, so I can see a reason to continue the story. Otherwise it's pointless – I'm not going to make fodder for the masses, and I'm most certainly not going to throw pearls before swine. I'll simply stop writing altogether.
