《The Royal Mates》Chapter Fifty-Seven

Mordikai
My father and I were notified that the siren had arrived. I had decided to take the day off from training with my warriors and we went to the cabin they were keeping her in. The guards in there were female, and therefore, the siren had no effect on them. When we walked in, the siren was sitting in a chair in human form. We had given her an outfit to put on when she was ready and she looked irritated. As a precaution, we had restrained her to the seat. My father locked the door behind him and we turned to face her. She smirked and let out an airy chuckle.
"Well, well, what do I have here?" She gave a seductive laugh and I groaned.
"Listen, I have a business offer for you. And you don't have anything, yet." She looked intrigued" and sighed.
"Well, get on with it then. I don't have all day. I am a very busy woman." She flipped her hair slightly and it was my turn to chuckle.
"Technically, you do have all day. Anyway," I paused as I sat down in my own chair. "We need to get information out of a Warlock," She cut me off with a scoff.
"Good luck with that," I growled in annoyance and she stiffened for a split second.
"You are going to help us retrieve this information." The siren scoffs and looks at me like I'm crazy.
"And why would I do that?"
"Because you get him after you do what we ask." She looked away and looked as if she was thinking about it.
"Think about it, a Warlock. So much power inside him. Think of all of that power you'd be consuming. All that power would flow through you as you devour him. You would be more than satisfied." I saw her bite her lip as she thought. I sat back and after a few minutes of thinking I gave a sigh and sat up.
"Alright, just take her back. Forget I even brought up the offer," She looked up quickly and yelled.
"No!" She stuttered for a moment and sighed.
"What information do you need from him?" I smirked and leaned forward.
"I need to know who he is, where he came from, who he works for, why he tried to kidnap mine and King Serge's mate, and who his partner was, the one who actually tried to kidnap my mate." She nodded and sighed.

"Alright, I'll do it." I nodded and got up.
"Remember, you get him only after he has answered those questions. After I give you the okay, then you get him. You try and kill him before the interrogation is over, you will be killed." She paled for a second before she nodded. I nodded to the guards and they removed the restraints and we all walked out to the car. I entered the front seat with my father and she sat in the back. After we were settled, we made our way back to the palace.
After we had arrived, the three of us made our way to the dungeons. I had already linked the guards with the Warlock to change from male guards to female guards. And by the time we got to the dungeons, there were females all over the room. I walked in with my father first and the Warlock laughed.
"You're here to try again? You aren't going to get anywhere." He chuckled as he sighed. I smirked.
"No, I have a way to get you to talk."
"Oh yeah? And what would that be?" He gave a smirk and I returned one of my own. I stepped aside and his face immediately dropped as she walked in. I saw the fear on his face.
"Don't worry, she's not going to kill you," I chuckled as I sat down in a chair across the room. The Warlock was trying really hard to not look at her, but even I felt the compelling aura. However, it's a lot more bearable since it is not directed toward me.
"Whenever you're ready," I looked at her and she nodded before turning her full attention to the Warlock. I saw her push her aura toward him and he was looking dazed. The siren walked up to him slowly and ended up straddling him to keep his attention on her.
"What your name?" Her voice was thick with seduction and the Warlock was struggling. However, after a few moments, he broke.
"Sylvester Calloway," I couldn't see what she was doing, but whatever it was it has him hooked.
"Who do you work for?" His response was quicker than the last.
"The boss," I had to refrain from growling.
"Where is your coven?"
"Albania," He is now answering immediately.

"Why did you try to steal those princesses?"
"We were being paid, as well as being offered protection. The bounty on their heads made by the boss is high." I started to shake in anger. My father put his hand on my shoulder and shook his head. I nodded and tried my best to keep my cool. I couldn't ruin this because I lost my temper.
"Who was your partner that you came with?"
"Eliphas,"
"Who is your coven leader?"
"Alatar," I stood quickly and went to stand near the door. Fuck. Alatar is the most powerful Warlock, and if he is working with the Boss, he won't stop until he has Amorelli and Zinniah. The siren turned toward me and gave me a look asking if that was good enough. I sighed and thought for a moment. This was the best information we have ever gotten. I couldn't think of anything else and nodded my head. She smirked and gave a laugh. The guards started to leave and as did my father and I. This startled him and he heard the siren start to hiss.
"You said she wouldn't kill me!" He was panicking and I laughed.
"And you believed it?" I chuckled and shut the door. We heard his screams from come inside and I sighed in relief. I looked at the guards and began to speak.
"When she's done with him, send his body back to his coven and leave a note with just the words 'We Know'. Then return her back to the sea." The nodded and bowed and stood watch by the door. My father and I walked out of the dungeons and started to make my way to Amorelli. I found her talking with Zinniah in the garden and they seemed excited. I bid my father goodbye and wandered over to them. I was a few feet away from them and I sniffed the air. Something was different. I looked at Zinniah and realized what the smell is.
"Zinniah, congratulations on your mating with Serge." She looked surprised.
"How could you tell? You didn't even see his mark?" I sat behind Amorelli and groaned as I laid on the ground.
"I can smell it. Your scent and Serge's have mixed since you two mated." Zinniah let out a short 'oh'. Then Amorelli and Zinniah continued to talk about what had happened and how happy Zinniah is. After that conversation, the two turned to me.
"So, were you ever able to get the Warlock to talk?" I chuckled darkly remembering the events that had happened.
"Oh yeah, we got him to talk." Amorelli nodded and spoke again.
"So, what's going to happen to him and the siren?" I laughed at her comment and looked at her.
"Amorelli, we gave him to her after she was done interrogating him. He is dead, and she will be sent back home." She nodded and quickly changed the subject. Not too long after, Serge came out and sat behind Zinniah and held her. We all started talking for a while when Daniel came running up to Serge and Zinniah.
"Daniel? What's going on?" Daniel looked a little grim.
"Princess Zinniah's parents. They've left." Zinniah looked shocked and then upset.
"Without saying goodbye?" I spoke up and Daniel sighed.
"I'm sorry, princess. The guards saw them packing their bags into a car and leaving for what I'm assuming the airport." Zinniah nodded and leaned into Serge.
"Were they talking about anything while they were leaving?" Daniel rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.
"How they didn't approve of you mating with Serge. How they don't like him and how you'll realize he is bad for you and how you will come running back to them, begging for their forgiveness." Zinniah grew angry and stood up and started to leave. Serge sighed and went after her. Amorelli put her hand over her heart and sighed.
"I feel horrible for her. They were so nice, and then all of a sudden they turned on her. For no reason!" Amorelli commented and I sighed.
"Then they are losing their daughter a second time. And they won't be able to get her back this time." Amorelli nodded and Daniel left.
Amorelli had spent the rest of the day together and end the rest of the day didn't have any more drama.
