《The Royal Mates》Chapter Thirty-Seven

~Amorelli~
It was very dark when I woke up. I tried looking around and was really confused, as I couldn't. There was still a throbbing in my head but it was bearable. I tried to move my arm but I couldn't. I then tried opening my eyes and found I couldn't do that either? I heard a beeping get faster and I kept getting scared. What's going on? Where am I? Is Alistair alright?
"Nurse!" I heard a voice that was slightly muffled. I heard shuffling and then a sigh of relief.
"Your Majesty, Amorelli has awoken, but she's still in her coma. She can hear, she just can't respond or move. She most likely got worried when she heard everything and didn't know where she was." I felt and heard my heart rate go down.
"See? She's calming down now." I heard shuffling and an angry growl.
"Get. Your hand. Off me." I felt the bed vibrate from his anger. God even when I'm in a coma he turns me on.
"Why? It's not like she can do anything about it? Have fun with me..." I heard the sound of a hand rubbing on fabric like a shirt. I started to become very angry and made sure they felt that come off of me. I heard the nurse gasp.
"What-what was that?"
"Oh, you know, just my mate letting her aura show off her dominance of what is hers and what isn't yours. And by the way-" I heard a slashing of claws and skin. I then heard choking noises and a body fall to the floor.
"That's for touching me." I sighed internally and felt myself smirk. I heard the door rush open and other people come in.
"What happened?" I could tell doctors wanted to help save her but I knew by now she was already gone.

"She tried making moves on me. Amorelli is awake somewhat, I can tell. She released her aura to scare the nurse and she just wouldn't stop. You all know the penalties for touching a royal without permission." I heard a doctor sigh in anger.
"Your Highness, this is the third person today! Please stop killing our employees!" What?! There were still more women throwing themselves at Alistair. I heard a sniff of the air and a loud growl.
"Careful now, someone's getting angry." I let my aura out once more and I heard the uncomfortable shifting of feet between doctors and nurses.
"Keep your damn nurses off me and we won't have any more problems. However, when Amorelli wakes up I doubt I'll be able to stop her actions." I heard mumbles and people walking out before the door shuts. I heard Alistair sigh and he gripped my hand.
"Don't think I didn't smell you earlier. You reek of arousal." I felt my cheeks flush and Alistair chuckled. I then felt that similar intrusion. Alistair was in my mind.
'Alistair?'
'Darling. How are you feeling?' I heard the worry in his voice and it continuously made me swoon every time I heard his voice like that.
'I'm okay... Alistair, we need to talk about something important.'
'Agreed. What are we going to do about your father? Do you think he will try and come after you? Because I've already told Diesel to put a ban up in Russia so that your father can not get anywhere near the castle or near you.' I smiled softly. He's a very smart man.
'Darling I can still hear you.' He chuckled and I blushed once more.
'Thank you, Alistair... But that wasn't what I was going to tell you.'

'Is everything alright? Are you hurt?'
'I'm fine my love. I just have a question.'
'What is it?'
'What is the possibility of a woman getting pregnant during her heat when she and her mate don't use condoms?'
'One-hundred percent. Why?'
'That's what I thought...' I stayed silent so he could catch on but it didn't seem like he was.
'Oh my god, Alistair are you that thick?'
'What the hell are you talking about?' He seethed in anger. I sighed.
'What question did I just ask you?'
'The possibility of you being pregnant.'
'Yes.' He still stayed silent.
'And what is the only reason my father would try and attack me for?' He thought about it for a moment before he spoke. I could literally see his lightbulb going off.
'To kill our child.' I felt the intrusion dissipate and it was followed by an infuriated Alistair. I heard his roar and a doctor came in.
"Your Highness, is there a problem?"
"My mate is pregnant!" I immediately heard the doctor run around the room before stopping.
"Your Highness, I'm sorry but we do not have the technology to check on the egg to see if it's alright. She hasn't had a miscarriage so that's all the reassurance we can give you." I heard him growl in anger. I then felt my lightbulb go off and I led a trail of light to my lower stomach where my growing child was. I hoped this would work to let them see our growing baby.
Alistair, Mordikai, and Comrade have a lot coming for them.
~Alistair~
I saw a light leading to Amorelli's stomach. She was going to show us her child. Our child. I can't believe I'm going to be a father. Maybe she would want Mordiaki here during this process? I haven't let him out... I'm just so afraid that she won't miss me when I leave.
'Of course, she will. Do you see how excited she gets when she sees me?' I heard Comrade say and I chuckled a bit. I knew how right he was, but I couldn't bring myself to fully believe it. The light finally had settled on Amorelli's stomach and the doctor and I were looking shocked. There it was - the tiniest egg you could ever see. I laughed at first, beyond delighted to see that. My child. My baby girl or baby boy. Our child was growing inside her as we speak.
"Your Highness, if you'd like I could arrange a plane to come and take her back to Russia with you?" I nodded once and he left the room to go summon the plane. I sat down on a chair until the doctor came back and took us to the plane afte I sat down on a chair beside her and sighed as I watched doctors strap in her gurney on the bottom of the plane. Once they were done we took off and I sighed, looking out at the ocean. I leaned back in my seat closing my eyes, sending one message to the entire pack, resulting in hearing all of their howls and whistles.
'I'm going to be a father.'
