《A Hidden Secret(Cancelled)》V4 52: 106th Rewind

Listening to the deep sinister voice radio out from the live news sent chills down many people's spines as cities burn that isn't just Old Smoke this time around. The words follow the voice that historically laughs his words out without mercy showing no remorse to his doings.
"The world, which is already burnt from White Death's doing, will fade away more from my lovely touch. Who would expect the alliances of Government would betray them because of their corrupted society, I, your saviour, Ian Gregory, will save you all..." Ian declared worldwide.
Autumn, Annabelle and Kaylee stood shocked and speechless as they mindlessly listen more to Ian's manic speech he, alone, published to make fun of the world. Caden stood there uncaring and emotionless as he eats away not giving a damn about what was happening in front of his eyes.
"Caden! Go and catch Ian and become more of a hero," Annabelle snarled, annoyingly digging her fingertips into Caden's shoulder trying to provoke him and get him moving.
"I am not a hero, Annabelle, I save people when I feel like it and when I'm close to that crime. I give out statements for others to be the hero, I just do things." Caden replied after snatching Annabelle's digging fingers to stare at her with empty, frozen eyes.
After speaking his words, leaving Annabelle silenced, Caden sped away to walk down a busy street running away from a new explosion, as their feet rose off the ground so does the surface crack and snap into a mountain-shaped overhaul of a boom. Speeding frightened groups whimpering like puppies slows down into a muted distorted world shaded darker than the brightness the sky portrayed to keep a little amount of happiness left.
Caden speeds around the explosion, calculating what type of bomb it was, seeing the shades of the coldest to hottest ripple around the stiff ball of a puffy, intoxicated source decorating the roads that were ripped into checkboard pieces of gameplay as the solid surfaces bend upwards like thin paper to allow the ball to escape without any force of stoppage.
He followed the invisible electric connection line that played the bombing down into a deep, hollow alley parting into another road full of scared thoughtless civilians stuck in a manipulated time freeze with only one person sticking out. A tall bodybuilder with the recognition of Ian was frozen while he looked backwards to watch the crowd scatter with a massive, devil grin shape his inhuman structure.
Then Caden noticed a blue aura wave around Ian like an ocean as his eyes flared this blue unseen climate, Caden gets closer to see and recognised its horrible stench, it was the ability to manipulate poison and Ian was luckily at the very top rank of the ability making him a strong figure to not mess with. But Ian having an unbeaten ego was doomed when Caden places his hand onto Ian's shoulder to let Ian see through Caden's world as he confusedly glanced around until he meets the eyes of a cold Caden ready to murder his hostile target.

"Caden!" Ian, without second thoughts, screamed creating a ring of blue poison using the aura around his body as an injecting system as parts of the aura crawled like a snake down to his hands that had his palms facing each other.
Before Ian could get a hit, Caden punches Ian in the face immediately knocking him out so he could move on with the mission that was torturing him, Caden zooms through the woods and finds the warehouse he found Autumn in and slams Ian onto a chair tying him up to the point the rope was cancelling Ian's blood circulation. Caden places a camera on a floating bowl displaying a glow underneath and sped up time waiting until Ian woke to his consciousness.
"Caden...- Where am...I?" Ian exhaled out, jumping around trying to rip the ropes tied around him after realising the situation he was in. Caden presses a button on the camera which had "LIVE' pop up in bold red fonts as Caden grabs a bat from a table full of tools. Ian's eyes widen when the first thing he saw was a bat being swung into his already messed up face.
"Good afternoon, world...I have found the bomber," Caden bluntly said before revealing his face to the camera facing him standing behind a struggling Ian. Caden places the bat beside Ian's cheek before winding it up to smash another hit to his face with blood splashing across the camera and all of the other tools Caden plans on using.
"Answer the world, Ian, tell them why you did it with your face this time," Caden demanded, smacking Ian's face once again before scrunching his wounded pouring face to stare at the camera with defeated eyes.
"To have the world fear..." Ian struggled to explain because of all the blood being coughed up out of his purple-stained mouth.
"Mhm, continue..." Caden provokes, slapping Ian's cheek lightly.
"To have them fear the lies...that they will blame...on...me-" Ian coughed up, spitting constant blood towards the camera.
"What do you mean?" Caden asked, forcing Ian to stare at him, who now had a grin across his face like he was in a terrible joke.
"I'm just a distraction from the very start. I made you all find me quickly so you, the big man, can show up and be distracted by me while the city continues to blow!-" Ian laughed historically, being interrupted by a distant explosion that caught Caden's immediate interest as he leaves Ian alone in the dark to speed over to a wall of orange expand and eradicate the rubble from underneath as humans vanish into dust while Caden stood immune to the fountain wall passing through him like he was nothing to the universe's logic and physic.

The path follows destruction as sanity burns itself into blinded souls punished by satan's devastating touch, a mile-long explosion circles the city like a plague ripping nature off its standings as a heavily populated city goes ghosted like a myth in stories explained throughout the world.
"I have to rewind...again," Caden whispered out loud.
"If you do this our God will come down and punish you!" Asvini warned, appearing out of thin air.
Caden, muted from Asvini's warnings crackle his eyes until they fully became a shiny light that poured from out of the eye sockets to retexture the human skin into a smooth, liquid of combined white lightning as it spreads through the blood cells that began to duplicate too fast and explode into dust with every colour of lightning filling up where the blood cells were supposed to be and shred through the veins that squirted dangerous amounts of blood across the ruined grounding.
"C-Caden! You need to stop this immediately!" Asvini screamed, echoing into the emptiness of unlimited grey surroundings.
Eight separate pieces of black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple and White lightning rip from behind Caden's back like tentacles as they all wildly slash around Caden, slashing the grounds that created new stubble surfaces as Caden began to run drowned in a blinding light-textured skin. Building patches of a new rewinded time as his memories of tbe earth reappear like a wall connecting the complicated puzzle the more he dashes through emptiness, rebuilding every part of the world underneath him.
Meanwhile...
"Lord!" A small voice yelped holding a global ball chases into the massive room patterned by the centuries of wars so unexpectedly the Speed of God himself jumped out of his body when this small fragile genderless creature runs towards throwing a globe that Speed of God looked at dazed in his high throne.
"My God..." Speed of God dribbled out as he watches Caden from a birds point of view run through galaxies and multiverses recreating another timeline for the one-hundred-sixth time as the squared flat surface folds around Caden creating a ball of nature.
"I know he did this so many times but to see it unfold for the first time...scares me," Speed of God gasped as he feels his heart thump to the pace of his trembling hands.
Real-time...
Caden scrolled through time finding the moment he turned fifteen where he spent his birthday alone in a dumpster field, Caden pauses on the date 31st August 2451 and suddenly was sucked into the levitating globe where a small, young Caden comes in contact with a bin, creating an echo into the empty field filled with nothing but trash.
He stood up from a glue substance mess and looked around his surroundings trying to remember where he lived and remembered that this current Caden was in a caretaker home. So, knowing that, Caden snatched a pistol from a sleeping cop that patrolled the secluded area twenty-four seven and shot the man in the middle of the forehead four times before reloading the clip and deleting the footage of Caden landing.
Caden sneaks into a clothing store grabbing clothes and showered in someone's house who always came home at night and wandered down the smiling, peaceful streets to arrive at a heavily secured building with children inside running around with excitement as their foster parents took care of them and Caden began to climb the vents since he couldn't use his power because his intrusion will alert the current version of Caden now.
Crawling across the vents, Caden found a vent that no light escaped and looked into the gloomy room finding his current version of himself sleeping like a robot with no batteries and removed the vent so Caden could take advantage of his lightweight and slip onto the floor.
After grabbing his balance, Caden searched around the room seeing if anyone passed by and walked up to his sleeping version before placing the barrel of the pistol he held to his previous version to pull the trigger five times without thinking twice about who he was killing, painting himself with his blood as he emotionlessly stares at his own dead body dampen the bedsheets.
Caden froze like a robot as he sucks out all the power source away from his dead version to double his old powers as his body becomes a blurry white light of puffy clouds.
"New rewind, new me..."

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week. Cover art is 'The Siege and Destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans Under the Command of Titus, A.D. 70' by David Roberts. This art is in the public domain.
