《A Hidden Secret(Cancelled)》V4 46: The Struggle

Beaming lights pierce through the cracks of the hideout Caden and Annabelle expected Kayden would be, both making sounds as they enter the wooden house noticing everything was all over the place in a way it seemed someone rushed to get out of the hidden house knowing Caden would come immediately after the ambush in his cabin and inside his room.
Annabelle rolled her flashlight around the room trying to see if anything would be meaningful when she finds an opened laptop with the screen still turned on showing the location of the closest areas Kaylee wandered off to with her new buddy she created after looking for the murder of Lucinda. Annabelle rushed over to the stable to see clearly which made her jaw drop when something popped inside her head, sweat dripped down her forehead as she glimpses at Caden with widened eyes, who was distracted by the mess on the table.
"He's going after Kaylee!" Annabelle informed panicking, holding Caden's immediate attention.
"Where is Kaylee right now?" Caden asked unaffected by Annabelle's fright.
"Uh...take this catch, it tracks Kaylee and Autumn twenty-four-seven with their consent!" Ms Paden sprouted, unravelling the watch around her left wrist to throw over to Caden who caught it in mid-air nicely, Caden looked at the squared screen show a black map with white roads trailing cut out triangle shapes of Kaylee's and Autumn's bright smiles with a length calculation. Caden dissolves into nothingness with a kick of the dust from the uncleaned wrenching floors while Annabelle tried calming herself alone in the dark.
The location Kaylee was located at was inside a mansion hanging around with two females that displayed serious emotions while they look around trying to find evidence of the investigation they all decided to do, Caden stood on the opposite side of the mansion watching peacefully with a few glances around the street now and then just in case something bad happens, feeling the cold breeze brush past his shadowy figured skin, it was when his phone started vibrating inside his pocket that he knew something was up, Caden quickly pulled out his phone to find a notification of Autumn messaging "HELP!" in all caps.

Following the GPS printed into the watch, Caden found himself looking at an abandoned worn down warehouse glimmering from the sad touch of the dusty moon sucking in all the toxic spikey smoke smoothly swing side to side hidden from the world peeling itself while rust seizes the whole building's skin, Caden ran inside the warehouse ignoring what would happen to him because of his ignorant intrusion, spotting Autumn tied up on a chair wearing a dirty blindfold in the middle of the overgrown grass that slipped through the borders trying to infect its nature onto human builds.
"C-Cadern?!" Autumn cried after hearing Caden accidentally snap a tree log as he walked closer to Autumn, "It's a trap!" Autumn warned desperately.
"I understand it is a trap, Autumn. But, right now, your safety will always come first." Caden promised right before hearing the door slam behind him, darkening out the last remaining lights. Caden tumbled his eyes all over the place seeing nothing but a void he is well known of in his mindset, Caden clenched his fist tightly with a strict calm expression as he listens to the silent walking steps inch closer to where he stood.
"Darkness is always someone's weakness." Kayden's voice boomed out the soundless air, leaving Caden wondering where Kayden might be.
"Is there a reason why you're doing this?" Caden asked calmly.
"Many reasons, 1, Snatch the White Death's power, 2. Get the two billion bounties over your head, 3. And lastly, for revenge since you ruined my path to strive my true strengths." Kayden cackled.
"Kayden, me and you are the same. We both victims of the world's cruelty, just like Autumn." Caden tried reasoning, hearing a clank from two metal bar hitting each other.
"So why didn't you kill me back then?" Kayden's responded sinisterly.

"Because I wanted you to heal and look back on your decisions," Caden answered while zipping his eyes around.
"You can't heal the broken," Kayden's voice broke right next to Caden's ear, but right before Caden reacts he feels pain whip him onto the ground giving him a massive headache as he calmly groaned, Caden felt another hit with two bars this time before covering the back of his head to block more of the attacks.
"Were your parent's monsters risen from hell to torture me then act like they are sorry after they start growing wrinkles?" Kayden spat out, slamming both of his metal bars on Caden's head that began to crack open from the constant damages. "Were you a puppet to a group of students who had no humanity when they molested me, gang-raped me and break my bones?!" Kayden's saddening voice echoed.
"HUH?! ARE WE REALLY THE FUCKING SAME?! JUST WHEN I BEGAN TO GET HAPPY YOU CAME IN AND FUCKING RUINED MY LIFE OVER A BITCH WHO WAS DISGUSTED WITH ME!" Kayden roared, slamming more harder on Caden's head until Caden's calm eyes started becoming blurry, as he felt the hot liquid rip down his skin onto the ground.
"Yes...we are the same, Kayden...same name, same past with few differences, the same level of hatred for the world...being looked down on, becoming the entertainment of monsters who called us monsters just so they could abuse us...having a life that looks so untrustworthy, seeing that future shatter over and over again..." Caden muttered, silencing Kayden who watches Caden stand up dyed in his empire state blood.
"But only one remained human while the other lost that humanity...guess who that is, Kayden? Me. Do you think you have the worst life? Do you have powers that were given you by force and destroy the whole of the north of our country, killing millions of civilians just because you got manipulated into draining out the rage? Do you have my disorder created and bullied by the Government themselves that disables them beautiful emotions, feelings, empathy and a conscience?" Caden rambled as Kayden stumbled backwards.
"Your broken life is nothing compared to mine, I was a monster from the very start and I will die a monster...Everything is boring, dull and has no purpose in my eyes. Do you think being an emotionless robotic monster is cool and happy? It isn't, it is a struggle to fit in with your one-sided fucking humans," Caden continued.
"So do me a favour and stop being a fucking crybaby...your life is way better than mine will ever be."

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.
