《A Hidden Secret(Cancelled)》V3 30: Entering The Soul

Breath of the wind sings its rhythm onto the bare skin as Caden's eyes down the distant city rotting in the ashes of cloud smokes battling each for superiority for the reach of the touch to the darkness, poisonous clouds fight for their last breath for every second they had. Caden was watching the world rot in front of him while he sits comfortably on the tip of the mountain mercilessly.
He wasn't the one who destroyed the city, after all, the ones of the only building he destroyed were Governmental structures with protective barriers around all the closest buildings that weren't Governmental by running around the roads at an extreme speed to block all the explosions with his Telekinesis ability. The Government were the ones that ruined the city by trying to explode Caden into pieces with tanks and fighter jets.
But being well known as a terrorist, his reputation stayed the same with it slightly raising from the incidents of millions of civilians sympathizing with him after they watched that one live show where Autumn kissed him after crying about his past. After that played out, Autumn was embarrassed for a whole week, and it became worse when Ms Paden and Kaylee teased her.
Peacefully resting with the touch of freshness became interrupted when he saw a flash of white lightning zap right past him at a very close distance, Caden glimpsed at the blonde, rough man standing right next to him with a massive smirk across his face.
"Hello, Caden Dahil," The blonde man greeted professionally.
"Came to beat me up more?" Caden sarcastically asked.
"Nah, I've changed my mind after hearing who you truly are...to think the White Death student that I was afraid to teach was you all along," The man sighed sitting down right afterwards.

"You were one of them pussies back then? The world is too small," Caden responded sarcastically again.
"I was one of them pussies back then, I'm Professor Matthew, nice to meet you once again," Professor Matthew introduced himself, reaching his hand out for a shake, Caden looked at Professor Matthew's hand and thought about it for a while.
"Nice to meet you again too," Caden replied, shaking Professor Matthew's hand showing genuine welcoming.
Professor Matthew cackled to himself before turning his eyes onto the city to let out a deep exhale before saying another word.
"Came here to watch the world burn?" Professor Matthew gently laughed.
"Something like that," Caden answered distantly.
"The Government did you pretty dirty, destroying their civilian lives and put all that blame on you," Professor Matthew stated, "Don't worry though, many are leaving to join your side after that live," Professor Matthew.
"I don't care if you're my enemy or my ally, you're all terrible humans who always believe in the fake accusations rather than the true story," Caden said, gaining Professor Matthew's attention to look in the cloudy, zombie eyes of a serious Caden.
Professor Matthew couldn't talk either move his limbs, he was so distorted in looking into the eyes of a robotic human having no regrets on what he was doing, the more Professor Matthew looked inside them mazed eyes the more he noticed one thing twist his gut all around. It was the sighting of rage, the only emotion Caden has to keep his little amount of humanity in check. He could stimulate the generated world Caden would live for an eternity if he ever dies.
Cracked roads reaching miles of width with every kind of aggressive coloured lightning striking the lifeless trees that were poisoned by the toxicity of unknown variant of powers destroying everything that existed in the entire world. The clouds wept in their clinical depression as their role to bring happiness to Caden failed as soon as he entered the doomed world, the smooth water that swivelled down every black hole to create nature was nowhere to seen like it was drained like into the sink's hole.

Piles of billion lives piled on each other like a collection of a psychotic trophy as their deep red blood swam their way into Caden who stood above the world in a frozen time of his own memories, the galaxies that birthed Earth from an explosion killed the universe itself from the mass amount of power they dealt with. It was their battle to help Earth survive its fall from its legs snapping from all the pressure it accrued from the rampage sonic booms that Caden caused.
"Earth to Professor Matthew," Caden said, snapping Professor Matthew back to reality, Professor Matthew rubs the bridge of his nose trying to avoid a massive headache after he stared at Caden's eyes for too long.
"Sorry about, I was in your- my own world..." Professor Matthew chuckled, forcing a smile to hide the mysterious feeling he felt in his throat, it stung and never stopped squeezing, all that happened is that the stinging and squeezing got worse to the point Professor Matthew couldn't handle it, troubling his breathing became a punishment for avoiding the one emotion he hid away from.
Caden noticed this sudden change when he looked at Professor Matthew quickly force his trembling hands inside his pocket, after that accidental glimpse, Caden shifted his head upwards to lock his eyes on Professor Matthew who wasn't keeping his contact steady. It went all over the place finding a solution to distract himself.
"That what happens when you stare into my eyes for too long," Caden spurted out, grabbing Professor Matthew impatient motive straight away, he watches Caden stand up and tower over him, "It's a rumour I gave myself after learning human reactive instincts when I give my eyes to the one human staring for too long. It fools you into entering my soul and watch the world unfold disastrously, after all..." Caden added to his chant.
"After all...?" Professor Matthew's nervous, shaking voice slipped out as he fumbled backwards to get further away from Caden to avoid what he was thinking at that time of that moment.
"The eyes are the opening gates to our souls..."

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge
