It looks like the riders don’t want to associate with the three of us that much. They make their own camp and don’t bother us. I think, in their eyes, only Black is worthy enough to cooperate with them. We are just side kicks.

Black is currently in their tent. I don’t know what they are talking about, probably, about Glyph. Since we are afraid that unfortunate events may happen due to the fire, we don’t make a fire. Creatures in this world are different from animals on earth. They are not afraid of fire. No fire means no light.

Since their tent is a bit far from us, we can’t hear what they are talking about. Even Rey using his soul fusion can’t hear. This also means they can’t hear us unless they have some fusion better than Rey’s.

“What do you think about the riders?” asked Rey.

“I’m not sure about anything. But regarding our mission, I think Black’s plan would be difficult to succeed. There might occurs unwelcome events” I answered, “The riders are pretty strong for us. Besides, I suspects that Glyph has something she doesn’t want to let Black know. May be I’m too cautious.”

“May be. But I also feel like that. Let’s watch some more times.” Rey stands with my thought.

“Hey Brick, what’s your thought on it?” I asked.

“I don’t know. What I’ve observed isn’t even close to what you are talking” he answered.

It looks like we don’t have much intelligence on them. We have to observe some more.

“Then, let’s discuss about their abilities.” Rey said, “Firstly, WatchDog. His soul fusion looks like the ability to strengthen his strength and agility. He becomes stronger and faster.”

“I think he might have been using another kind of sensory ability. You guys know that he is blind, right? Without some kind of sensory ability, his reaction won’t be that fluid. I mean, like your bat soul fusion.” I added my opinion.

I didn’t see him using a soul fusion other than a white one. But I think he has been using it all the time or he used it before we met him.

“Brick, what do you think about it?” I asked.

“I don’t know” he answered.

“Okay, if none of us has any more information on him, let’s move on to another one, Trigger.” Rey said, “His soul fusion is a blazing hand. And according to my observation, the temperature might be higher than boiling point to be able to soften that hard skin and pluck two feather from the giant crow-mok”

“I don’t have anything to add into it. That’s what I’ve observed too.” I said, “Brick, anything?”

“I don’t know” he answered.

Rey and I raised our eyebrows a little bit with a faint smile. It can’t be helped. He really might be a bit bad at observing. May be that’s why he decided to join my party from the start. If he is a bit more observant, may be we won’t fall for Anon’s trick. That reminds me of my negligence. Anyway, I’m trying to turn a new leaf.

“Let’s move on to another one, EagleEye,” said Rey “what we know about him is that his soul fusion is a poisonous fang. That’s all”

“No, what we know is more than that.” I added “He is kind of someone with authority. Although he doesn’t say much and do much, his attitude is that of an authority. If I’m not wrong, he might be the leader of their combo.”

“Hmm, now that you say it. I remember his attitude to other rider. It is kind of different from a leader. He isn’t the same with you. I don’t know. I’m not sure. May be my mind is playing trick on me.” Rey expressed his opinion.

“My opinion is the same with Rey. I feel that he is different from a leader.” This time, Brick tells us his opinion on EagleEye.”

Hearing their opinion, I also started to feel like it. He doesn’t act like a leader as well. But I’m sure he is not a normal member as well. He is a bit arrogant. He acts like, the other riders aside from Glyph and SaberTooth are below him. May be just as Rey said, my mind is playing trick on me. Besides, these are all the assumptions we are making according to our observation.

“SaberTooth doesn’t show any fusion ability. So, aside from his status, we don’t know much about him.” Rey paused. And continued with a sarcastic smile. It seems he suddenly remembers it, “Oh, he is quite an arrogant boy. I’m sure about that”.

“Don’t forget about their combo. Wait I forgot the name of their combo. What is it?” Rey continued.

“Break Armor” answered Brick.

“Yes, Break armor,” said Rey ”as its name suggest, their combo is quite useful against tough armor. WatchDog acts like a tank. Trigger soften armor and EagleEye poison the opponent.” He paused for a while.

“But their combo is most effective against a single opponent. We are three man squad. So, it is not a big deal for us. But we can’t let our guard down since we don’t know if they have any other abilities. Plus, I don’t think we can compare with WatchDog’s soul fusion’s strength with our yellow monkey. I mean if we fight one by one. I don’t think our reflexes are not good enough to win against him.” Rey concluded.

“So, in conclusion, we can’t fight WatchDog one by one. Trigger’s blazing hand is quite hot. And we won’t be able to handle EagleEye’s poison. Is that it?” Brick asked.

“Yes. But there is one more thing left. We don’t have all intelligence on them. We have to observe more.” said Rey.

Meanwhile in the riders’ camp,

“Black, your men are pretty useless. They can’t help us. During the crow-mok hunt, they were just bystanders. They contribute almost nothing apart from saving WatchDog one time. Their presence is quite annoying. I don’t like their eyes. If they were not there, I think our efficiency would be higher” complained SaberTooth.

“No SaberTooth, they are more than what you are saying. I know how much they can do. Just like you said. Although if they can’t compare to you guys in fighting, they can serve as distractions.” Black said.

Glyph said nothing. She was just lying to rest.
