《His Adventure In The Soul World》Chapter 16 : (Arc - Eternal Love) Break Armor Combo

Pretending to hardly able to handle the crow-mok’s beak attacks, we continue observing the three fighting riders.
WatchDog marches towards the crow mok’s body without giving a fu*k about the claw attacks. He tries to grip the rampaging legs of the crow-mok. But since three of us are not doing our best, the crow-mok doesn’t need to focus its defence on us. So, WatchDog finds it more difficult than it should have been.
His reckless march costs him many shallow cuts on his body. He did his best to dodge the crow-mok’s rampaging claws. But he was not fast enough to be able to dodge all of the crow-mok’s rampaging claw swipes. What’s lucky for him is that Black is doing his best to restrain the crow-mok. Besides, to avoid too much suspicion from the riders, from time to time, we also put effort to deal some damage to the crow-mok. There was one time that I have to push WatchDog from his position since he would at least get a deep wound if the crow-mok’s claw hit him. But for most of the time, he could simply dodge the crow’s claws. I even doubt that he is blind.
But, the strange part is that the other riders are just looking the fight. None of them comes to help WatchDog in his attempt to grap the crow-mok’s legs to paralyze it. WatchDog struggled for some time before he achieves his goal. In exchange for a deep cut in his right legs, he could grip the corw-mok’s legs. Although he can’t make the crow unable to move its leg, its claws are now less dangerous than before.
When WatchDog gives signal, Trigger comes to the crow-mok. Using his blazing right hand, he grips some feathers from the crow’s belly. The crow-mok struggle. But due to Black and WatchDog’s suppression, it can’t exert its full strength.

The place where Trigger firmly grips started to emit thin smokes. The smoke getting thicker and thicker. He turns his head back and looks at Glyph. Glyph frowns and gazes at him fiercely without saying a word. Some moments later, Trigger just smiles and nods at Glyph and turns his head back to the crow-mok. It seems they were talking with their experience. When Trigger turns around, Glyph’s facial expression relaxed almost immediately. Although I’m pretending to restrain the crow-mok’s head, I don’t give up the opportunity to observe the enemy while doing so.
The smokes are getting thicker and thicker. In the smoke, we started to see something red in the crow-mok’s belly. It seems the crow’s belly is burning. After some time, two feathers were plucked from its belly. During Trigger’s fight, I was worrying that the light from his hand would attract some strong moks. Midnight is drawing near. Although I know animals on earth are afraid of fire, it is not the case in this soul world. I’m not sure. But luckily, my worry doesn’t come true.
Trigger steps aside and give a signal to EagleEye. Then, EagleEye comes to the crow-mok. The crow-mok seems getting tired. Its struggle is becoming weaker and weaker although it seems it is trying its hardest.
Using his fengs, EagleEye bites the place where Trigger has plucked two feathers. It is the only place where the flesh is exposed. Moreover, the flesh can be easily penetrated due to high temperature.
Aside from that EagleEye did absolutely nothing. He just step aside. Despite being weak, the corw-mok is struggling more and more. It looks like it is becoming more and more painful with passing time. Due to the its dire struggle, Black was almost thrown to ground. All three of us as well as the three riders has to work to restrain the crow-mok’s whole body.

After some minutes, the crow don’t struggle anymore. Look like it has passed out.
SaberTooth comes to us holding a dagger. Glyph also comes along with him. He frowned and said “I’m going to end the crow-mok’s life. Step aside.”
“Oh, sorry” saying that three of us step back. Black is still on top of the crow-mok. Making himself ready, SaberTooth takes out a dagger that is tied to his waist. When he was about to stab the eyes of the crow-mok with his dagger, the crow-mok suddenly rises and pecks SaberTooth using its beak. Unprepared, SaberTooth was caught off guard. He was too startled that he doesn’t even try to move.
Just before the beak of the crow reaches him, Glyph grabs his hand and throws him away. SaberTooth escapes an unfortunate event. But Glyph wasn’t fortunate enough. Although she tries to avoid the crow-mok’s beak, her left hand was pecked. She got a deep wound on her left arm. Immediately, Black stabs the eyes of the crow-mok frantically.
It seems that peck was the crow-mok’s final attempt since it no longer move whatever Black does to it anymore. After stabbing the eyes with his left hand blade many times, Black stops, exit the soul fusion state and go to Glyph.
“Are you Okay, Glyph. Can you move? Your arm, how is it?” He bombarded with such questions. He don’t even notice the faint smile on EagleEye.
“I’m Okay Black. I have prepared some medicines for this trip. I will be Okay after some medicine application and a good rest. I want to rest now.” she said. Looking into SaberTooth’s direction she continue, “Saber, shall we call it a day for now?”
“Okay Glyph, let’s heal your wound first. We will continue the hunt after your recovery. WatchDog, you also needs to apply some medicine to your leg.”
SaberTooth also is worrying about her. It can be seen in his eyes. “May be he cared about Glyph. That’s why she wanted to help him get the giant crow-mok soul before leaving.” I thought myself.
We stopped our hunt and went back to where we rest the night before. We would camp there until Glyph gets better or any unforeseen danger arise.

Core .001
This is a story of Shiro, a 12 year old girl who wished to adventure around the world. Only to end up in an untimely death. When she wakes up, she finds herself in what seems to be a new world, and her body has changed to that of a catkin. Using her knowledge from knowing literature of people in similar situations and adventuring, she tries to make a place for herself in this new world. Only to find out that reality is far crueler than one would imagine. Even with what one would call an OP unique skill and other OP advantages, she finds things quickly fall apart regardless how hard she tries. Thus she seeks more and more power to not only survive, but to protect what is important to her. Unbeknownst to her though, lies within her an ancient power time primordial. A power so vast it can bring anything to its knees. This ancient power can easily be unlocked with just one sentence, but this sentence shall never be spoken. Instead, Shiro will embark on a new path to gaining a new different kind of power as she moves forward in this new world. WARNING: The first few volumes will have tragedy, which will disappear at around Volume 5 or 6. From then on it will be just pure OP-ness and having fun. While I personally like OP characters and don’t like tragedies myself, I think it is unrealistic that a person goes to an unknown and everything just magically go their way via plot armor. So I wanted to build up a more realistic OP reincarnation novel where MC struggles through a new world regardless of their advantages due to gaps in knowledge (despite how prepared she was) and simply not having enough strength at the time. ------------------------------------------- This is my first poor attempt at a story. I read a lot of novels overall and was in the mood to see how well I can write one. Expect a lot of mistakes here and there as I am pretty new to writing. Releases should be about 2 times a week(changed due to chapter size pretty much doubling) unless stated otherwise or inbetween volumes. I will at least commit to finishing the volume I am on (Nothing worse than a story being cut off mid story). So give me your comments what you think. I don't mind if the comments are bad and etc. Just lay off the grammar nazi (My only weakness)
