TORI'S SIDE:

The guard captain had decided to fight and show effort even if it was a losing battle. 'You Soul Clan trash only know how to oppress the weak huh? Even if you kill us don't forget you are on the land of the fortress and you won't be leaving ever.' he said as he took a fighting stance and his mana was flowing visibly to the naked eye. ' Less talk more action.' The leader of the cloaked figures replied, but as soon as those words left his lips the guard captain had already teleported. 'Haven't you learnt that it doesn't work?' The conceited cloaked figure spoke as he didn't even bother to take a fighting stance. 'Die!' A shout came from behind him as black sword rays instilled with a void cutting edge rushed towards him and he easily evaded all of them after which he pin-pointed the guard captain's position,he then shot in that direction like a bullet, but before he could grab the captain, someone intercepted him blocking the arm he had stretched to grab the captain, at the moment they clashed a loud sound rang out like iron clashing against iron.

'It seems you finally made up your mind, old coward.' The cloaked figure spoke as his pupils had an intense blue glow. 'I realized that even if I don't help them, you wouldn't let me and my granddaughter leave.' The old man spoke back as his pupils glowed a soft red colour. The cloaked figure hit the old man's hand away and in the same breath spun and kicked the old man before he could react which caused him to fly a little distance but he landed on his feet.

'Hahaha, what you said is true, you are not necessary for the plan so allow me to send you to the place where you truly belong.' He said with an evil smirk as he shot toward the old man even faster than before and his bone sword appeared in his hand, he slashed it at the old man who covered himself in mana and took a stance as though he was bracing himself to block the slash. 'Hey did I say I was done with you?' The guard captain said as he appeared beside the cloaked figure in transition and slashed his sword even at a faster speed than he got there.

The guard captain's slash was clearly with all his power accompanied by spatial power which covered his sword, the cloaked figure swung his own sword to parry the strike but to his surprise, the sword passed through his bone sword and was going for his torso. At the last second when the strike looked like it would hit, the cloaked figure evaded the sword strike and in that same second the guard captain could tell that his strike was going to hit empty air, his aura burst forth and he shot out the spatial energy as a ray that cut through the side of cloaked figure.

'you bastard, perhaps I have underestimated you a bit. Now I'm done playing with you both.' He said as he held on to his side which was now bleeding and his eyes shone a savage blue, his eyes literally attempting to drill holes in the guard's body. 'If I can injure you, then I can definitely kill you. Let's go!' The guard captain replied clearly pumped as he took an attacking stance while watching the cloaked figure's movement.

TOR'S SIDE:

The Ape had been using its ghostly blue eyes to stare at Tor as it went berserk roaring and banging on the earth which caused the blue soul flames to erupt from the ground and even consume the sand in the surrounding area turning it into ash but Tor stood in all that chaos unaffected and unmoved. Once the ape saw this it was more enraged and immediately darted towards Tor at an incredible speed which even trained eyes would fail to catch, it then spontaneously jumped causing the already burnt earth to break, all this while that this had been happening, the archer had begun firing his arrows once more but this time Tor's spatial shield had been incorporated with Dark matter and there was only one archer this time so the power of the arrows were greatly diminished.

The Ape was now descending at a velocity that was similar to the speed of sound as all four of its limbs were extended aiming to crush Tor as it landed. Tor turned the Dark Matter into a sword as he blinked and appeared above the exposed back of the descending ape, ' Naive ' he said as he swung the Dark Matter sword a couple of times before kicking the ape into the earth, it fell with a loud boom and if someone looked into the crater they could see the ape face flat in it and although the body looked intact, trained people would be able to tell that the ape had been cut but it was too neat.

The archer had still been firing arrows up until the point where the ape fell to the ground and stayed silent while Tor landed on the edge of the crater. Tor looked at the immobile archer and casually asked, ' So what are you gonna do now?' Without showing a sign of understanding the question, the archer spontaneously took off in a mad dash in the direction where the cloaked figure had been fighting the old man and the cloaked figure. 'Coincidentally I was also headed in that direction.' Tor continued as he walked calmly in the direction that the archer was running. A bit after he moved away from the crater, an earth shaking roar could be heard from the crater and the Ape jumped out, now more furious than ever and its face had distorted looking similar to the dragon which had possessed its body, it jumped out and landed behind Tor which caused the earth to shake and as it roared, it spewed the blue soul flames at Tor, but the spatial shield mixed with the Dark Matter appeared behind him and blocked the flames without him even having to turn. 'It seems like my swordsmanship is too good.' He said because he could tell that the cuts were so thin that the ape could easily regenerate using the essence of the dragon which had possessed it.

The roaring ape did not wait for an invitation and immediately threw a punch at Tor aiming to smash his head, but Tor turned faster and within his motion, the Dark Matter sword appeared in his hand as one hand acted as a shield while the other held the sword. He swatted the hand away as he pierced the Ape's chest with the sword, the sword slid into the Ape's body, before the Ape could react, Tor used the 'devour' skill as he began to drain the dragon's essence, the dragon feeling how serious the current danger was, tried to detach itself from the Ape's body and as it struggled and roared, its corporeal body could be seen trying to escape but it wasn't able to resist the skill and in a few seconds the whole place went dead silent as Tor walked away from the corpse of the ape and his aura was very similar to the dragon's which was aggressive and tyrannical and it was so because he directly absorbed the essence without taking time to incorporate it with his own power.

Tori's side:

The guard captain was on the floor beaten bloody by the cloaked figure while the old man wasn't looking much better but at this point he was the only one who could stand. 'Hahaha what did you say? If you could injure me, you can kill me? What a joke. I will make sure you suffer hell so you would understand the difference in our power.' The cloaked figure was giving a speech when the archer corpse reached the area and the cloaked figure felt the loss of the dragon which caused him to roar in agony because of his connection to it. 'Who dares to kill this young Lord's pet I will definitely capture your soul and use it as a meal to placate my anger!' He screamed but the injured guard captain and the old man just stood watching as though spectators to the beginning of madness without understanding what was going on but Tori stood in the corner simply enjoying the show.
