《THE JOURNEY OF TOR- BOOK 1 DESCENT.》HOW FAST WOULD YOU FALL?

‘i guess it’s time to start the hunt’ Tor said as he walked out of the building looking at Jin who was fighting IK but still took the time to respond ‘happy hunting young lord.’ Tor began running straight through the area where the battle was taking place and for that time period the enemies movements slowed a great deal, Jin used the opportunity to kill two level 3 saints while Tor killed two others, one a level two saint and the other a level one saint before disappearing from sight. During that period IK was unable to process his thoughts and the fact that he was unable to move made him watch his allies get killed like chickens. ‘you little bitch I don’t know what sort of sorcery you and that little fvcker just used but one thing is for certain you’re both from the spatial fortress.’ IK was finally able to move again but he had snapped, not that he was a very sane person in the first place but at this point, it could be truly said that he failed to fear what he could not comprehend.
Jin looked like he was in contemplation for a second, ‘hmmm I don’t care if you think you are a detective. We had never thought of letting you go in the first place, so please just go and die.’ She said in a voice devoid of any emotions and her bloodlust soared to levels IK and his few remaining mercenaries had ever seen, this aura was totally different from what she had shown earlier. ‘So what if you are from the spatial fortress do you think you are powerful? Today I will have a taste of a woman from the spatial fortress, I heard they’re sweeter when they’re crying.’ Ik spoke his voice dripping with mockery and his eyes showed boundless lust and the kinds of sadistic thoughts which were running through his mind. ‘Do you think ‘dogs’ have the right to taste swan? Let me see the ability that deceives you into thinking you can touch this.’ Jin said calmly but the bloodlust did not reduce but rather flared up some more while her eyes shone deep red as at this point it was still early in the day and therefore dark, once she looked at IK he had a serious sense of foreboding which made him deploy a wind shield subconsciously.

‘There’s something different from before, I have to be very careful.’ IK thought to himself and in the next second jin vanished from in front of him. Jin appeared to his left hand and swung the sabre in her right hand as deep red flame broke through Ik’s shield, and proceeded towards him but he deployed a gale that acted as kinetic force that sent him far backwards making jin’s flames miss. ‘you managed to break my shield with just one strike? And how are you able to use those flames when you are from the spatial fortress?’ Ik asked not being able to wrap his head around what was going on before him. ‘why would I explain anything to someone who would be a corpse soon.’ Jin replied with a slight smile her pupils were still shining red as she walked slowly towards IK. ‘you little bitch I thought you had a bit of talent s…’ Before IK could complete his curses she vanished again and this time IK deployed sensory wind but to his surprise she appeared right in front of him swinging both sabres in her hands in the form of a scissor, IK barely reacted but swung his sword in reaction parrying but the flames from Jin’s attack burnt through the Ik’s wind burning his hands.
IK screamed in pain and rage as the wind formed a pair of wings on his back and placed a large distance between Jin and himself, Jin immediately appeared behind him as his feet touched the ground. ‘don’t you know distance is a matter of split seconds to us?’ Jin asked while swinging the sabre in her left hand, fire and space mixing as it tore through one of his wind wings burning through and leaving a wide gash on his back as he fell over but before jin could attack again the remaining level 3 saints jumped in attacking her together with their mandates causing the area she was in to break and cave in, they could all feel contact when they hit her but in the next second a hurricane of flames mixed with spatial mana making it black and red rose up spinning around Jin, all IK could hear were miserable screams from the saints who were attacking Jin to protect him. When he looked in their direction all he could see was a towering flame of deep red and black, he could also clearly see those red shiny pupils that always made him feel uncomfortable, in reaction he quickly force grew the wing that was cut off, he then took flight and began to flee while he believed Jin was busy not even showing any concern for his subordinates who were being cooked by Jin at that moment. A sarcastic laugh escaped her lips as he saw IK tuck his tail in an attempt to flee, she began walking in the direction he was flying to as the flames were dying down and although her pupils were not shining as much, it was still too terrifying for IK to turn back for a peek.

‘Hey, hey why are you running when you have been talking so big since in the afternoon?’ Jin said in a voice that was soaked with mockery which sounded like a soft whisper in his ears making his heart thump, IK then felt weight on his back as Jin landed on him grabbing both wings made of wind with this IK was so alarmed he decided to fly into the atmosphere breaking through the sound barrier and even though he began flying vertically jin was not shaken. When IK was about to break through the clouds, Jin smiled, ‘oh wow you sure can fly fast, I wonder how fast you would fall.

On the plus side, there’s magic, and Jake’s got the stats to master it. Spells not included, but, hey, creating spells and programming are basically the same thing, right? At least Spellcrafting is slightly less suicidal than trying to stop the encroaching dungeon spawn threat. Because why wouldn’t there be an apocalypse in progress. All the more reason to find his way back fast. Unfortunately, the path home leads right into the heart of danger. Fighting monsters, dungeon delving, solving puzzles – whatever it takes, Jake is finding his way home. He’ll need allies. Powerful allies, like a trainee ranger who struggles to find her hairbrush. Pointy ears, executive dysfunction, and a perilously gutsy moral compass – what more could one want in a Companion? Alas, beggars can’t be choosers. He needs every edge he can get. Going home means finishing his quest. That quest. The quest that doesn’t deserve completion. Save your father, save the world. Update Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Temporarily ad hoc.

The Grey Realm, an Erebus Story.
Written by: Staugroan and The Inklets. Edited by: Claudia Adams. In the beginning there was a god, who watched over and made one world his own. Soon after the god grew restless, but happened to stumble on a small world filled with life. This world was named Erebus by its peoples; humanity. The god was so fascinated with this new world that he started to copy it back home, creating oceans, forests, deserts, and so forth. Then the god created life and eventually his favored creations who would be immortals and be the better of mankind in every way-the elves. So often the god had traveled to Erebus that the two worlds became linked by magic and their inhabitants could cross at will. Relations between the races flourished, and a great empire was born in the Grey Realm, home of the elves. But the god once again grew restless, and set loose great beasts that stood at the top of any food chain, the apex. At first the elves met the challenge and fought them head on. But mankind was not so lucky, they died in droves to push back even a single apex. Something had to be done. Elves and man worked together to begin sealing off the worlds to protect mankind, to limit the ways in and out to better fight the apex off and keep their fellows safe. The ritual had adverse effects the likes of which neither the elves nor man could predict; the sealing of the worlds started slow, but the magic had never been done before, and in their ignorance it spread to completely cut the two worlds off from one another. It ejected the apex, and other magical being back into the Grey Realm, saving Erebus. At first the elves were content, they would find a way back once the apex were dead and gone. But the seal had done more than keep Erebus locked away. The powersource of the seal was magic itself, from both worlds, and it consumed it all greedily. The elves, weakened without their magic, crumbled into ruin, and the apex were free to hunt the other races of the Grey Realm. Two-thousand years later a strange phenomena is occurring and magic is slowly returning to the Grey Realm, and tears open that allow passage to Erebus. Thu'lain and a few elves must make the journey to fallen kingdom of the elves Anosora, in the hopes of reclaiming what was once theirs. They must face their nemesis the apex, and survive not only the species that have turned against them, but a terrible being left behind by the god to kill even the apex. Uch'l'thein, the faceless terror.
