Realizing that there was a green tail behind the wooden desk Erdan asked himself. Where had it coming from? Did the director created some kind of creature in his office that he didn’t know of?
Taking one more step, Erdan looked at the creature, which the tail belong to.
And he was simply shocked!!
“WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??!!” Said Erdan while his face turned white like sheet of paper.
The tail was connected to some humanoid being, that was strugling on the floor and growing scales in it’s entire body quickly. Then, an realization came to him, the monster was wearing the director clothes!!
“What is it brat?” Said Valeria while averting her eyes from the window. She got up from the chair and went to see what was going on.
Erdan stepped back and stumbled with his butt on the floor,he crawled trying to get away from the monster as quickly as possible, until his back touched the wall.
When Valeria arrived and saw what was happening, she became shocked as well. ‘What in the world happened here?’ thought Valeria in her head agape, and so shocked that she became totally frozen.
Soon enough, the monster stopped it’s struggles. It began to put it’s hand on the floor, and opened it’s eyes.
What they saw was a slit green pupil, just like a snake’s. the creature growled at then and claws extended from It’s fingers.
At that moment, Erdan was paralyzed in fear. He had been training for years with his master, and did a lot of mental training. But nothing was enough to prepare a child from becaming paralyzed in this kind of situation.
“STOP RIGHT THERE, DON’T GET CLOSE!” shouted Valeria, while putting herself between the creature and Erdan. Slightly turning her head to Erdan, while keeping an eye at the monster, Valeria said something to him with a trembeling voice. “Erdan, get up and go away now! Find the other teacher's in the teacher’s room and get some help.”
Erdan was perplexed, he truly didn’t expect that in this situation, instead of running, Valeria would put herself between him and the creature. And this attitude of hers made him get calmer. With his mind clear, he began to get away from there and try to get to the door. However, just when he began to move, the creature flexed it’s arms and legs, apened it’s mouth, that was full of sharp teeth, and jumped on top of Valeria.

Valeria didn’t even had time to respond, when she realized it, the creature was already upon her, the most that she could do was to put her arms in front of her to try to get it off her.
When the creature impacted her, she fell to the floor with it on top of her, the creature clawed at her and embedded it's claws in her shoulder “ AWRRRRR” screamed Valeria from the pain, but still, she had the will to scream to Erdan “GO AWAY KID!!”
“ NOOOOO, GET OFF HER!” screamed Erdan while seeing that scene. He truly didn’t like Valeria. However, her attitude today showed him that she was just acting according to her duty as a teacher, and was only trying to protect her student.
At this moment, the shock made Erdan act like a machine, and the years of training embedded in him by his master began to take action. He quickly looked around the room trying to find something that could hurt the creature, and luckily, the director was previously an history teacher, and loved old swords, and on the wall, with it’s blade shining brightly, there was a katana, an one sided curved blade, hung. But the problem was, the katana was on the wall behind the creature that was on top of his teacher, and more, it was located about 360 cm above the ground, and while he was pretty tall for his age, being 150 cm tall, he couldn’t reach the Katana.
Erdan quickly made a decision and shouted “HANG ON THERE TEACHER, I’LL HELP YOU!!” He runned with all his might and jumped on top of the creature, and stepping in it’s back he got the sufficient impulse to reach the sword. Grabing it’s handle while in the air, the boy made a back flip and slashed at the creature’s back.
“BAMM” while the impact helped him with the force to hurt the creature more, he felt dizzy when he landed on the ground with the sudden movement.
Erdan shook his head and backed away, focusing his eyes he saw that there was a huge gash at the creature’s back, and that it was gushing blood, the creature was unmoving on top of Valeria. He averted his eyes from the creature, and looked at his teacher, only to see her with blank wide open eyes and with a large bite hole on the left side of her neck. This scene made shook Erdan to his core, in the end, he couldn’t make it, she died while protecting him….

Erdan grasped the sword with more strength, until his knuckles were white, and after gritting his teeth, and with tears flowing from his eyes, he turned away and went out of the office with the sword on his hands.
While Erdan was murmuring inside his mind and lost on his thoughts on the corridor, the creature that he previously thought was dead, begin to move, and the large gash on its back began to slowly close….
After Erdan got away from the director’s office, he began to process what happened, he truly didn’t want to believe it, but the creature was previously the director, and whatever happened while the skies were ruptured, changed them in different ways.
“What do I do?? Who I do???” He was mumbling while trying to figure out the best course of action in this situation. The first thing that he thought about was to investigate if that transformation only happened to the director and if there were more people like that.
“KYAAAAAAAAAAA”
While thinking, he heard a woman scream coming from a classroom by the end of the corridor, and that was only the beginning.
After the first one, there were a lot of strange sounds that were heard. Erdan quickly realized that more people were waking up, as well as the ‘monsters’.
Erdan began to train in martial arts with his teacher when he was 4 years old, it was one of the activities that his aunt made him enter to occupy his time while she take care of him, she was a doctor as well, and she had a LOT of work to do, and couldn’t be looking at him all the time.
He began to train together with other boys, and he showed promising progress in the martial arts. The name of the one that he practiced was flaming heart, the concept was to use the adrenaline rush to gain more strength in order to fight, and the art used both the body and some weapons that were more compatible with the user to fight, it was developed in the time of wars.
After seeing the amazing progress that he was making, his master took him as a direct disciple and trained him separately from the other boys.
His master tried to train him in using the state of mind in order to awaken the adrenaline rush, but meditation was not his strength. While his master praised him for the ‘quick’ progress he made, in Erdan eyes, it took too much time to activate the rush.
“ARHHHHH”
More and more screams keep happening. Hearing them, and noticing the chaos was beginning reign. Erdan knew that with his martial prowess he could help a lot of people in the school, however, above all else he was still scared and wanted to find his aunt and master. But, if the city was in the same situation as the school, it would be impossible to arrive at the hospital where his aunt worked, because it was located downtown. So, he decided to go to his master’s dojo to ask for help, and hoped in his heart that they were still themselves…
After deciding what to do, Erdan looked at the end of the corridor where the stairs were located while stilling his heart and ignoring the screams on the classes. Setting his mind, he began to run in it’s direction. While he was running, a door on his right side was suddenly broken with a tremendous force, and doing roll on the floor Erdan escaped the shards that were flying in his direction.
Looking at the place where the door existed previously, Erdan saw a humanoid figure of about 2 meters, it looked like an ape-man and it’s eyes were blood red colored. Briefly looking behind the monster Erdan noticed the carnage that was happening in the class, some boys holding chairs were trying to fight against another creature that was scaled and looked like a fish walking on all fours.
Erdan kicked the floor while holding the katana vertically above his head, and using the impulse he aimed at the creature’s neck.
Noting a boy holding a sword running in it’s direction, the monster first reaction was trying to grab the sword with it’s hands. And that didn’t went well for it.
“DIEEE!” screamed Erdan to gain more courage and to try to activate the adrenaline in his body further, using the technics that his master taught him. Erdan slashed cutting trough the hand that the creature put in his way.
After cutting it's hand, Erdan backed away and ran to the end of the corridor while the ape-man was holding it’s pulse and roaring in rage.
